I stumbled upon this store way back in February/March during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. It was on of the stops and the moment I walked in the store, i gave an audible gasp. This place was beautiful! The decor was amazing! I was immediately imagining how it would look like in the house i was buying. I knew at that moment this store was dangerous... because it would separate me from my money in no time! I spoke with the owner of the store, Joanne, when i found out that they also did drapes. My new home came with some awfully garish drapes... purple drapes!?!?! Black drapes for a dining room? Ridiculous! I needed some new drapes and Joanne promised me she would show me some great options. She came to my new home and measured, she came up with someone wonderful ideas. During this time i also found out she was an interior designer. I just hired her to help me decorate the home and get me new drapes and decor to make my home beautiful. This was a great decision! Joanne has impeccable taste! She listens and understands the type of style her customers have... she then takes that and brings pieces that tastefully use that style to adorn and enrich your home. So much of my home decor now is from her store! I love how beautiful my home is!!!! Love it!!!!! If you are looking to change the drapes in your home... this is the place! Held only one month a…read moreyear, weekends in October, the Lincoln Ridge farm was very entertaining for 3 girls, ages 2, 5 and 7 along with adults who wanted a simple day trip. The petting zoo was simple but enthralling for the 5 and 7 year old, who spent many spare moments running back to it. Good cider, inexpensive pumpkin pie slices for $1.25, and caramel apples were terrific. The staff were all very polite and friendly. We did the pedal race cars, The Hoot Mobiles, a dozen times. The kids cheered with each launched pumpkin, or spent ten minutes rolling oversized pumpkins around or jumping on the mountain of hay. The 7 year old loved the riddles that were part of the corn maze. I don't have time to tell about the hay ride, barrel ride, haunted forest, candle dipping, games, just a lot of milling about aimlessly without agenda, resting in bales of hay, and coming back to those Hoot mobiles. We were there 5 hours and spent about $60-70 total. A bargain and a perfect fall day.

People in here were very friendly, the pieces of furniture were nice but I didn't find any living room sets that made me want to buy it. Also I was looking to buy appliances and they do not carry Samsung, which is my favorite brand. Still the staff was so nice, I think it deserved this rating. I may have gone with another store, one closer to the place I moved from, but if I ever need to buy local I would check this place out again.

It has a throwback philosophy was my impression, that harkened back to when sales & retail was a decently paid gig staffed by competent people who knew their stuff, was outgoing and friendly, and seemed to like what they were doing. ( before the brass of large retail companies thought saying money on payroll justifying slashing talent away leading to the low quality customer service we see too much today.) The staff was helpful, friendly, and kept busy changing out displays and helping visitors. Large showrooms allow for a wide variety of styles and choices. There were more on display than you find in big box furniture stores in Columbus. Sofas aplenty, coffee and end tables included, recliners and accent items, bar stools and bar chairs of standard and nonstandard heights, dining room chairs of many styles, desks and office furniture, real bookcases, affordable bed sets and bedroom sets, and bookcases armoires, display cases, and other miscellaneous items. They also sell appliances: dishwashers, cloths washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerator. This is high quality stuff but not too crafted to be out of a middle class budget. I help a friend get a sturdy, fantastic look desk to make a landing in a home office. If you live in the Lima area and need decent furniture, this is a place to spend a few hours.
