Its a tidy, presentable store and covers all the basic tidings. Last minute trip? Yes... its the typical drug store to the rescue. With a postal center, medium-sized cosmetics section, pharmacy and all the isles in the between, Lawtons is likely to satisfy most. However, as a reoccurring customer, I've noticed poor, untimely service on more than one occasion. The people at the front cashes always seem to be more than adequate; however, its the cosmetics and postal peeps that have been off their game. I can say with confidence that EVERY time I've browsed the cosmetics section, I've been either blatantly ignored or exposed to loud conversations between staff members. If they, then, see me, and choose to make the effort, its never been with regard. This is a section of a store where people look to employees for expertise, and its just not present here. I've had a few bumps in service with the postal counter, as staff consistently appears stiff and reluctant to serve. The job gets done... but how about a little pep. Not a lot... I realize customer service can be grueling. But could you stop acting like I kicked your puppy? Sheesh. I'd like to see some friendlier service here to back up the convenience. Here's hoping, but I won't hold my breath.

Tonight I went in looking for fragrances with specific notes and decided to ask her for suggestions... she showed me fragrances that had nothing to do with the notes I mentioned and was keen on trying to pressure me into purchasing them to make a sale on expensive product. when I then asked if I could smell a few of Ariana Grande's perfumes to see if I liked them she complained that she would have to get a key to open the cabinet and expressed not wanting to do so for me, so I left. I have never been in a store where the workers complain about doing their JOB to the customers and instead try to sell them something they don't want. I really hope she can learn from this and provide better customer service.

Now I want you to all know that this Shoppers has the best pharmacist name John he is great. Like today I went as I was concerned about something and John was there to help and talk to me about my concerns, Not only is shoppers great for home supplies to cards to cosmetics it is as well the place to go to get your prescriptions.

The staff here are great and we get some prescriptions here. I like the fact it has a part grocery store in it, I have bought a lot of the grab items, milk , eggs , bread, sort of the staples. Some times I just do not want to go into the grocery store and stand in a huge line or half to walk a mile to the back of the store to grab a carton of milk. Fortunately for me , we have Shoppers, and sometimes I get the double bonus with the points card. They ad up quick, I have used the $75.00 in points a few times. There is a great cosmetician who works here, here name is Crystal. She has helped me with choosing a new product line and I am very happy with it. Go see her!

Don't ask them basic questions or prepare to wait before receiving a rude, insulting response. We were asking basic questions about medications trying to avoid HBP impacting drugs. These can be important questions when taking a medication, and we were talked down to and dismissed. I'd be impressed by the amount of contempt thrown our way in a 30 second interaction if it wasn't so incredibly frustrating. Honestly, there are several other pharmacies nearly. I'd choose any of them over this one. Work on the customer service skills at the pharmacy; it might be health impacting!

Having dealt with several other pharmacy teams, this one is by far my favourite. I'd go out of my way to have them help me in the future. The staff at this Shoppers location has seen me in various states of disarray -- whether I: had a bloody facecloth wrapped around my hand after nearly cutting off my finger, was extremely ill, or super hungover and on a serious Easter chocolate binge-- the staff has always treated me with care and kindness. This location isn't large enough to have a health food section, but it manages to carry most of the essentials and still remain orderly and clean despite the popular and busy location as a central feature of Quinpool Centre. There aren't a whole lot of awesome vegan snacks at this location, but their chocolate selection is sufficient to get me through a typical snack attack.

The neighborhood may also not be the best after dark. Everything in the store is cramped closely together, and combined with the low ceilings and poor lighting can make you feel a little claustrophobic.
