Whenever I happened to go to this station it seems strange that they decided to go al fresco with this open roof design. There aren't that many stations that aren't either covered or underground so it's almost strange to see that this station is as it is. The thing about Davisville is it's the closest station to the TTC HQ as well. You'd think they'd make it less humble than it is but no frills I suppose. There's 4 bus routes that are transferable or connect to Davisville and they're: 14 - Glencairn 11 - Bayview 28 - Bayview South 97 - Yonge The 14 runs west from Davisville along Chaplin to Bathurst and heads west along Glencairn crossing the other side of Line 1 at Glencairn station continuing west past Marlee and Dufferin and turns south on Lansdown and west along Tycos before turning north on Caledonia and running back east along Glencairn back towards Davisville. The 11 runs east on Davisville to Bayview and turns north and does a turn near Sunnybrook hospital and continues north through the Bridal Path area and crosses the Sheppard Line at Bayview station and continues north past Finch to Steeles before turning around. The 28 runs east on Davisville and south on Bayview on the east side of Mt Pleasant cemetery through Leaside and south along the windy part of Bayview by the Don Valley and towards the Evergreen Brick Works at the east side of Rosedale. The 97A follows Yonge to York Mills from Davisville. The 97B follows the same route as A but also goes as far south as Queens Quay and the 97C goes as north as Steeles.

We were here recently in Toronto for an unplanned two day trip. We looked for reasonable rates and…read morefor $99 a night for two double beds in upper Toronto (9 subway stops to downtown) as it's located near Eglington station. So the review is based on $99 for a city like Toronto. It's an old hotel that's slightly out of the way but price wise was fine for what we needed. Pros: - located in a neighbourhood and about a ten min walk from the Eglington station at Yonge and Eglington. There's some restaurants, bars, McDonalds, etc - free breakfast included from 7-11 am weekends and 7-10 am weekdays. There's hot and cold items and the food is actually better than those Hampton Inn types where the sausages and eggs look kinda sketchy. They had poached eggs on one day which was perfectly cooked even when I had it at 930 am. There was bacon, sausage, French toast, waffles, cereal, yogurt and actual fresh fruit. Coffee and juice. - bathroom has an actual fan you can turn on and a heat lamp to warm you after you step out of the shower. Good shower pressure - bed and pillows were comfortable. Sheets were not scratchy. - room was spacious with a large closet lots of hangers. - small fridge in the room and water and apples in the lobby. Cons: - yes it's dated. The lobby is fine but the hallway and rooms are old. - it is near some construction though we were on the 9th (total 10) floor and faces away from the street so it was very quiet for us. - bathroom is small and could have been a bit cleaner but not horrendous. - it's old so there was just one outlet by the bed so I had to pull out either the clock or the light to charge my phone - one pet peeve was a knock on the door by housekeeping one day despite the do not disturb sign

I booked a night in January, but I ws told at about 8 pm that the hot water was still off. I ended up going to bed early, looking forward to a shower in the AM instead. In the past year or two, valet parking was the way it had to be, for a price. But the last time we visited, about three weeks ago, the hotel ownsership was telling their guests to walk 10-15 minutes back to the hotel after parking in a city parking lot, and paying the city for the privilege. Meanwhile, 4x4 trucks and other construction vehicles cover the lot. The elevator is slow to open. Push the button several tkmes until it does. I look forward to staying elsewhere in the Forest Hill/ Midtown area. This hotel needs new management.

I got married 2 weeks ago. I got an email confirmation with the name and number of my driver for the day. I was supposed to be picked up at 3:45. At 3:45 I got nervous, I was expecting the driver to arrive AT LEAST 5 minutes before pick-up time. No answer from the driver. I call their head office to be told that there's a new driver enroute, he should've been there by now, his name is Moe. Perfect, I call Moe to find out where he is. He tells me he is not Moe, but Moe's replacement and will arrive in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later (so at this point he's 20 minutes late). I hop on the bus and he refuses to move without cash on hand. I give him his payment, hesitantly because I don't believe they deserved their mandatory 17% tip that was put on my bill. when we arrive to the venue he goes on a rant about how we disrespected him, how he is more than just a limo driver. At this point he tells me his name is Moe (ugh, the lies!!!). Take responsibility for your tardiness, at the very least, apologize to your customer for being late. Had he apologized I would've elaborated on how spacious our limo bus was and the nice touch with the controlled air conditioning in the back. But none of that is worth the money you save booking with this limo company.

I required one limo to shuttle back and forth from my hotel to my venue in downtown Toronto (5-10 min drive.) I was hesitant to use this company after I saw this website. Needless to say, I called them to voice my concerns and Joe (manager, owner?) assured me that the reviews are 90% fake, and that I would receive good service. BIG MISTAKE! The driver was disgusting and disheveled. He was late to pick up by husband, then he almost took my husbands arm off by backing the car into a tree when the door was open. He was extremely late for every other pick up, and decided not to show up for several of them. When I spoke to Joe to voice everything that had gone wrong on the day, he was unprofessional, and basically called me a liar. I sent him several screen shots of text, and emails to prove that the driver was late for every pick up and I never heard back. When I followed up several days later via email, Joe called me during the work day. I said I couldnt speak and to respond to my email. That is when he started verbally abusing me on the phone, saying he "felt sorry for my husband, and everyone around me" and that I must have a "miserable life". Then proceeded to hang up on me! Then he emailed me and told ME NOT TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN! These people are disgusting criminals, and I'm actually sickened that people like this can run a successful business!
