I also see him regularly for injections like Botox, Sculptra, and EZ Gel. I keep going back because I consistently see real results that still look very natural. As someone who has become pretty well-versed in plastic surgery (for better or worse!), I truly believe Dr. Westreich is the real deal. I originally found him through extensive online research and because he met a very specific set of criteria I had. I was looking for a facial plastic surgeon (not someone who also does body work), double board certified, with an elite educational background (I know that sounds a bit snobby, but it gave me peace of mind), an office in one of the more expensive Manhattan neighborhoods (sounds snobby again, I know!), a strong reputation for rhinoplasty (since it's one of the most technically challenging procedures), a professional and well-kept office, not cheap but not super expensive, and great bedside manner. Very few doctors checked all those boxes. I called each one, and ultimately chose Dr. Westreich--and I'm so glad I did. I'm extremely happy with all my procedures. A few things worth noting: Dr. Westreich's work is subtle and natural. If you're looking for something more dramatic or "snatched," you should be very clear about that during your consultation. He's also very comfortable saying "no" if he doesn't think a treatment is right for you. While that's what any ethical doctor should do, I felt Dr. Westreich was especially thoughtful about it. I even asked about a facelift, and he told me I wasn't there yet--something I think many other doctors would have been willing to do. He offers a same-day booking discount that requires a deposit, but you still have time to change your mind and receive a full refund. Some of the negative reviews seem to stem from misunderstandings about this policy. Personally, I appreciated the discount, never felt pressured, and always found the staff to be kind and professional. However, I didn't go through with the surgery because I didn't feel comfortable with him. When I found out about Dr. Bassiri and his tip stitch procedure, I knew it was for me! I don't live in NY, so he allowed me to do a virtual consultation. Because he wasn't sure exactly what was done with my previous rhinoplasties, I had to go to his office for another consultation to make sure I was a candidate, and he performed the procedure that day. It wasn't totally painless, but wasn't bad. The only pain medication I took was Tylenol. Dr. Bassiri and the girls in his office were so nice, so I felt completely comfortable with him doing the procedure. I've had my share of cosmetic work done, and with surgeons who were ranked among the best, and I would trust Dr. Bassiri with any procedure I might do in the future.
