Dr. Asano was awesome!!! My 14 year old needed a root canal, and this facility was a referral from our dentist. We were seen quickly, the office staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire care team were fabulous. Dr. Asano was kind, explained everything in great detail, and was gentle. My daughter said her root canal felt like no big deal, she didn't feel anything during the procedure, and we were very pleased with the care we received for an unpleasant dental issue. I always thought dental work meant pain because that's always been my experience. Dr Hopfinger did my root canal and I felt NO pain from beginning to end ... when it was over I about cried tears of joy and I'm not kidding. This place works miracles. I only wish I could have give my house and cars to Dr Hopfinger in appreciation but then I would not be able to get back to see her again for my next root canal which I know I will need someday cuz I have really bad worn down teeth. Weird. Yep, that's me. I am one of those strange people who do not mind going to the dentist. I am one of those odd birds who just kinda enjoy sitting back and guessing what people are doing in my mouth. I have a pesky tooth that required the attention of an endodontist. My primary dentist, Dr. Justin Anderson, referred me to Dr. Gatti at Lawrence Endodontics. It was a good news/bad news scenario. The tooth will have to be removed and that is causing me a BIG TIME panic attack. Dr. Gatti was great. He has a wonderful bedside manner and he explained everything to me. He brought up the x-ray on a big screen and pointed out his observations. He was thorough, friendly and helpful. I left there feeling not as apprehensive about the procedure and glad I was referred to his office. The staff was also helpful and friendly. I appreciated all their attention and hospitality. BEWARE!!!! I am not one to write stinging, nasty reviews. I don't like the idea of destroying someone's livelihood. Therefore, I'm going to be as honest as I can, and hopefully they will read this and fix it. My wife needed a root canal. She was referred to Lawrence Endodontics by our family dentist who I also plan on contacting about this. She was told an estimated cost by Lawrence Endodontics. All seemed to be fine. In fact, they got her in faster than expected. During the procedure, while her mouth was wedged open and already numbed so she could hardly talk, they looked and said, "You can either continue with the root canal or we can send you to a surgeon." Then, when she didn't respond because she couldn't, they asked, "Why aren't you responding?" She did her best to point out that she couldn't talk, then she finally managed to get out a question (they still kept everything in her mouth so she struggled to say anything), "What do you recommend?" she asked. They immediately refused to recommend anything. She had to really push them, again, still unable to really talk, to get them to at least tell her pros and cons of both. Finally, she decided to just go with the root canal because that's what it seemed like they were really recommending even though they refused to really recommend anything. Then, a week later, we suddenly get a bill saying she underpaid. Insurance only covered it at 60% instead of the estimated 80%. I checked my benefits, and it should have been paid at 70% and we'd pick up the 30% because that was our In Network plan. So our Insurance company didn't cover it at 70% because, to our surprise, they were not in our Insurance company's network. I called them up and asked them why they didn't tell us that they were out of network? Why didn't they check our benefits first and then let my wife know, BEFORE the procedure, that we were going to have to pay out of network? We wouldn't have had the procedure done by them if they had told her that they were out of network. They took no accountability or ownership of this at all. They threw it back on my wife, saying, "She signed an estimate saying she understood it was an estimate. Therefore, whether we are in her network or not, that is on her. She should have checked." She never signed anything like that, but aside from that, it is NOT standard medical or dental practice to do a procedure, especially that cost so much, without first checking to see if they are in a patient's network or not. A patient expects to show up, provide their insurance information and have the dentist/doctor office tell them whether they are in network or not. You don't expect that your primary dentist is going to send you to someone out of your network and even if they make this mistake that the person they sent you to is going to NOT tell you that they are out of network. So be warned if you are looking at Lawrence Endodontics as a potential for your future procedure. Make sure you double check up front whether they are in your Insurance company's network or not, and be ready for them to not give you recommendations. read more

Got referred to this office by my dentist for a root canal. I can't say enough about this office. They got me in early. In the rush I had to pay later and they let me. Dr. Yee and the assistant, Emily, were the best I've ever been to. Very painless and they quoted me an hour and a half but only took 45 minutes. Very professional and sympathetic. I felt extremely comfortable in their very capable hands. Will beg to come back when I have the need. read more

Avoid this place... horrible people, horrible service. I was paying over the phone for my daughter's procedure and asked if I could call at the end of the day with my new Health Savings card (mine was stolen and the replacement was in the mail). Literally 4 hours until the end of the day to get my new card so I could avoid the paperwork required for reimbursement from my health savings and she wouldn't let this happen. Then our original quote was changed after the procedure was complete, with the excuse that her cleanings weren't regular. That is incorrect. Cleanings were regular, they just weren't submitted to insurance. My daughter paid out of pocket for cleanings, but because she didn't give an insurance card, they charged us double. Again, we find out this change AFTER the procedure was completed. If you're looking for a place with a little compassion and a little flexibility, you won't find it here. read more
