After using Lawn Pride last year and this, I would expect better results. Yes, July was hot. But it should not look like this! I reported it and a regular treatment is due today. If there's no visible improvement, I'm discontinuing treatments!!! Update: Not one hour after I posted this, I received a call. They basically said that they can kill the crab grass but it will return if we don't reseed. I would think if they fertilize the lawn, the grass would spread, covering any areas where weeds die off. Lawn Pride continues to tell me that their products are safe for dogs when they are not. I always wait long past the dry time to let my dogs on the grass after Lawn Pride has serviced our yard, and it never fails both my dogs paws are raw. Also, our technician left our gate wide open to our yard as we noticed when we got home. When I called to cancel services, the gal who answered the phone said the gate being left open would be addressed with the technicians supervisor. No apology, no honesty, no refund. read more

I don't like that my yard continues to have so many weeds in it, yet when I address it they seem to blow me off. I also don't like the fact that they continue to try to up-sale me with other products like mole control or over seeding, when I am calling to get answers on the services I have obtained. Cannot get rid of crab grass. Specified this in so many ways that this was the main concern. Never showed when scheduled, had to call every time. Informed them, said they corrected the issue. Same issue after. Seed used doesn't match the sod. Despite having spent more time in my yard than I have in the three years we lived here, not once did they bring up the grub issue we have. If I had known that, this was just going to be another cookie cutter service, I would've done things differently. Employees are good people. Our experience has been amazing. We have seen a huge change in our grass especially after the grub control treatment. We planted grass seed last September and now the bare spots have grass. We only pay when they treat, other companies "spread the payment out over the whole year" so you pay even during the 5 winter months of no treatments. I would highly recommend. read more

I have cancelled my service. I had been with them for two year. Yard looked better for most part. I did end up getting a few patches where grass disappeared. Blamed my trees. Now I believe it is their equipment when they turn at the corners. We've had a lot of rain lately, I get that. I had horrible tracks in my yard last application. I called, they said they'd note my home to check backyard before taking equipment back there. Well, they didn't. I will do my own yard at this point or find a company that walks the application. I bough a new home that had a very neglected yard in fall of 2021. I decided to use a lawn service for the first 2 years to help restore nutrients because I didn't have the time. I wasn't sure if lawn services were really worth the money. After using them a bit over a year, it wasn't until now that the benefit was really obvious. This spring, my lawn literally exploded in grown, outgrowing and out-greening any lawn around! The guy that mows my lawn noticed as the first mow for everyone else had average growth whereby mine was double, requiring more time of him. Just dropped them after several years. Each time I called them and asked for a manager, a "gatekeeper" said I could talk with her instead. Unacceptable. Then during a summer application, the tech didn't realize that I was trimming bushes and couldn't see me watching him. He didn't treat my back or side yard but I got invoiced for the entire yard. In July I asked for a manager to come to my house and look at the weeds in my yard - no one ever showed up. No customer service recovery, no apologies, etc...and no more of my business. We have used this company for a few years now, and each year they get worse. We have weeds, and they do not kill them. They put more product on our driveway and sidewalks than on our grass. They do not come monthly as agreed. They have no attention to detail and honestly just are not doing the job any longer. For what they charge, you can do it yourself and save money. We have chosen to cancel service with LawnPride and our neighbors since they are not doing what we pay them for. They use to be great when we first started, but now I watch them do the neighbors yard literally across the street and then come back several weeks later for mine. Going on two months since my yard was last serviced, so I had to do it myself because the weeds were getting out of control. We had sod installed a year ago, and they said they would keep it looking great, and they have not done their part, but I paid in advance. We have had great customer service, our lawn looks great, they are easy to work with and they make suggestions as to what will make our lawn look better BUT they are not pushy about it. We have had no weeds pop back up and the yard is green. We pay a bit more than our previous yard company but our yard looks better and we are treated and communicated with better so it's worth it. I called the service as they spread the pellets on the ground, safer for senior dogs. They did come and spread the fertilizer in a professional manner. BUT, I had a horrible battle with creeping charlie and crabgrass. I called Lawn Pride and explained that I was battling weeds that were winning the battle. I was told so many times to wait for the "fourth application of fertilizer" and I would see miracles happening before my eyes, before they would come out and handle the out of control sections of my yard. Well I did the spot weeding on my own and was able to cut back some of the weeds and crabgrass all during the summer. The fourth application happened, still waiting on the miracle. Yet I had a whole section that was crabgrass, which spreads fast, the one that has purple in the stems. The fourth application they used more weed killer. Lawn Pride summer is almost over and you are just now starting the battle with the weeds? I spent more money fighting the weeds and using Lawn Pride then on my own, I know my yard looks better when I spread the fertilizer (weed and feed) and spray the out of control sections. If Lawn Pride doubts this review, I have a whole section that is crabgrass by my front door, come out and tell me I am lying. read more

We called Lawn Pride and they came out right away and we noticed a different. We were also VERY impressed with the service that they did right before winter.
