I needed a pad built to replace a my old shed with a new one. They were punctual and did a…read morefantastic job. Mr. Kline answered all my questions about the cost of demolishing the old shed and preparing the foundation for my new shed. I have been bothered by nuisance groundhogs for 15 years with the groundhogs going under my shed, having babies and being protected by the shed. They tore up my yard. Mr. Kline stated this new pad would be built with quality treated lumber. He also installed geofabric between the ground and added #57 stone that he said would not be favorable for the groundhogs. He used tools to make sure the pad was level. They cleaned up everything after demolishing the old shed. The workers, Ryan and Sammy, were professional as well as personable. I did shop around for quotes but decided to use "A Clean Creation" based on the information he provided and the longevity of his company. I also read the reviews about "A Clean Creation," that were mostly favorable. I have not seen a single groundhog since the pad was completed. I never knew how these critters tearing up and inhabiting my yard was affecting my quality of life. I was afraid of them as any mammal can get rabies and I had read stories of "groundhogs gone mad." Airy…read more Last Fall 2019 Stone Solutions Maryland (Cullin) gave me a quote to repair our brick stairs and scheduled the job for a day and time. But about 2 weeks later, they never showed up as scheduled, and to make it worse Cullin did not apologize or even return my calls!! I should have known better because they had no reviews on their site or the web. Fast forward to May 2020, I figured I'll give Stone Solutions Md another call to see if they're still interested in doing my brickwork (because they worked on my neighbors house). This time I talked to Wayne (the owner) and after 3 missed appointments and too many excuses to remember, he finally shows up for another quote. After 10 minutes of discussing the job, he wouldn't give me a quote and said he needed to talk to his son (even though I told him about the previous quote was)....huh? Who is running this company? That was 2 weeks and now neither will return my calls. If you don't want to do the job, just say so and I'll move on. On second thought forget it, I'll find someone else that I can TRUST!! Bottom line is that the owner and his son are very unprofessional and I recommend you steer clear of them. We contacted more than 5 different contractors; some of which were rather uninterested in even performing an estimate. On the contrary, Dave with HL Design was prompt in contacting me (same day that I inquired via home advisor) as well as coming by my property and performing an estimate. We received 3 different estimates, and ultimately chose HL Design seeing as his was the best combination of value and quality body of work. The job itself turned out excellent and was completed on the timeline we had agreed to. One other thing I found interesting was that all other contractors felt they could easily disconnect and reconnect my AC unit since we wanted the unit to sit on the patio itself. HL design however suggested we call a professional to have this service done. This may have been an added cost but I believe it was the right advice seeing as there is much more that went into this than I had expected. I used Tony with Urbana HVAC for this and he was awesome in coming out on very short notice. That said, very happy with the work of HL design and we will surely enjoy our new outdoor living space as the weather starts to warm up!

Both are doing well. There can be a wait to be checked out however it's understandable. Other folks are seeking excellent seedlings, shrubs, trees, etc., like I am. But no! WE are to call them, THEY determine delivery without letting you know and said they don't contact customer because they have too many deliveries, but they have an arranged delivery date! You know who else is busy but calls?! Mulch companies! So do car repair businesses, so do many companies that deliver anything, so do Doctors and Dentists. Sun wants to risk us being home? They want to chance leaving a very expensive tree in our front yard BY the road, since this is the final destination. They are not too busy to SELL the tree, but don't ask for any other customer service.
