Made an appointment for a consult and got an email asking me to confirm by emailing back with YES,…read morewhich I did. No one showed up. I called and I was very upbeat at first. I had used Dom's once before and had a positive experience with Phil so I assumed the crew was just running late. But when I asked if they were on their way, a woman scoldingly told me I did not confirm so no one was coming. I told her I absolutely did confirm, and I had been waiting for hours, after changing my schedule. She said "no you did not confirm." I said I'm looking right at my email where I replied yes. She said in a nasty tone, "Well I'm looking at my system and it does not have a confirmation from you." I said "I don't care what your system says. I did confirm. I'm looking right at it." She repeated, very argumentative and condescending when she should've been apologizing: "I'm looking at my system and everyone else is confirmed but you're not." I said "Then your system is broken because I confirmed! Check your email. I confirmed." Now she yelled at me "Don't speak to me like I'm a child." Excuse me? SHE was the one scolding ME like a child, when she should've been APOLOGIZING for standing me up when I had a confirmed appointment! IN ADDITION: This whole business of "confirming" is ridiculous. I made the appointment, and I didn't cancel it. Even if their system somehow missed my confirmation (which is inexcusable) you don't CANCEL an appointment without contacting the customer. They have my cell number. They should've notified me that they were cancelling. Then I could've directed them to my confirmation email which they somehow missed. Also: Their email made it sound like confirmation was optional. It said: "Hello. This is a reminder that Phil will be with you on (date) between 2:30 & 3:30pm. Thanks, Dom's Landscaping. Reply yes to confirm or visit (website). Thank you." That email says Phil is coming! It does NOT say (but it SHOULD say): "If you don't confirm, we won't show up, and we won't even contact you to let you know we're standing you up." Since that is apparently their policy, they need to make that clear. But again, I CONFIRMED! I have proof. And I waited! And no one came. And when I called, I got scolded, even though it was THEIR FAULT. This is a terrible business.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere…read more My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. We purchased a package of 10 treatments and were charged in full upfront. During the first year, they only performed 2 treatments, leaving 8 unused. We were told the remaining treatments would carry over into the following season. When the new season started, we spent over two months calling and being promised that service was scheduled for the following week. Week after week, no one showed up. At the same time, despite still having multiple prepaid treatments remaining on our account, the company started charging our credit card again. Whenever we managed to reach someone, we were assured that the issue would be corrected the charges continued. Customer service is extremely difficult to reach, and there never seems to be anyone willing or able to take responsibility. To make matters worse, the treatments that were performed did not noticeably reduce the mosquito problem. This company is always punctual when it comes to charging your credit card, but not when it comes to providing the "service" you paid for. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this business. Very disappointing experience.

As someone who recently got into lawn care myself, I found Jonathan to be very knowledgeable and confident in his expertise. His communication was timely and professional throughout the process. He completely redid my front yard using a Harley rake, graded and leveled it, and truly brought it back to life. I followed his recommendation on the seed to use, and by week two, the grass began to germinate and looks fantastic. I will definitely continue to use Making Solid Ground Lawn Care for all my lawn needs. I am adding photos of the first cut of the Fall season.

I scheduled an appointment with him, but the confirmation text had the wrong address. I texted him the correct address beforehand, but never got a response. The day of the appointment, I called him at 4:40 pm to confirm he had the right location. He assured me he did and said he'd see me soon. At 5:00 pm, he was a no-show. At 5:10, still nothing. Finally, at 5:20 pm, my wife called him, and he told her he was "25 minutes away," with absolutely no apology. He blamed traffic, took no responsibility for being almost an hour late, and rudely asked if we wanted him to turn around. He then had the nerve to ask when he could come back the next day. When my wife suggested a time, he seemed annoyed and kept pushing for an earlier time, which was completely unreasonable. He promised to call back later to confirm and double check but never did. The lack of communication, disrespect for our time, and terrible customer service was shocking. I would not recommend this company.
