My husband and I are newlyweds, so since our filing status was changing to married, filing jointly, we were nervous to do our taxes (bigger income, with zero dependents, we sure we would owe money). We were going to go to the usual Hispanic tax services, where they do weddings on one side and divorces on the other..you know, where our parents usually file taxes (no shade lol) but then we decided to try a more legit, more professional place that knew the system, the new tax laws, and could breakdown details and answer all of our questions. That's what we found with Alisa! She was knowledgeable and was able to help us understand what was beneficial to us, and what wasn't. Appointment process: I love that this is by appointment only. So no crowds, we were in and out within 40 mins. Alisa was able to accommodate us same day on a Saturday, versus other places in the area that had 12-14 people waiting for tax services. Customer service: It seems this was a family business and everyone in there was professional and welcoming! Plus complimentary drinks! Tax Prep: Alisa reviewed our taxes for the previous year, and we let her know of our concerns about things done in our past tax filings. Have our taxes done here and the lady first insisted we were not paying the roght tax and that we are claiming more than one person in our taxes. Which isnt true because we have all the proof and our tax papers saying we are claiming zero and that we are paying the right tax. She also insisted that we got all of our stimulus which again we did not. She said we are expecting to get 2,300 state tax - which we did get. But end up recieving a letter from IRS saying the computation are all messed up and that we needed to pay 2,300$ back. Now we are gonna write back to IRS saying we did not realized she added stuff on that. Addition to that we have to pay $280 for her services. NEVER AGAAAAIN! read more

I have never done my own taxes! For my entire working life my family had the same tax man my grandma knew in high school. He just recently retired so I had to find someone else. After researching yelp (and thankfully cancelling an appointment with H&R Block) I came across this place. I called in to make an appointment, the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and sweet. I had actually called a couple places prior to this one and they either didn't answer the phone OR sounded annoyed. It was about a 20 minute drive from my house. It was a tiny place between a liquor store and a nail shop. Do not let the size fool you! This place was absolutely amazing! Alisa did my taxes. She was seriously everything! - Quick - Personable - Funny - Honest - Walked me through the entire process - Explained everything - Affordable I was in and out within 10 minutes. Now I have basic taxes (No kids, no mortgage). However, if I owned 7 business and had 13 kids I would come here. Definitely recommend! I will never do my taxes elsewhere. Very satisfied! read more
