BANG BANG there goes my nails day!! I came here hoping to get my nails done since i needed it...but sadly that wasn't the case... i came to this salon once just because of all the good reviews recommended on yelp...this is a nail/hair salon...area is pretty small...it feels really intimate and cozy...place is really clean...only two person that works there...one does nails and the other person does hair... i did a walk in just to get my nails done...i was greeted nicely but was really disappointed that they only do appointments...so you have to call a week in advance just to get your nails done which i think is pretty outrages...she was booked for the whole month and told me to come back next month...who the hell going to wait a whole month to get their nails done when they want it done.... Amanda is absolutely AMAZING! I went to her through a friend who referred me, thank god i listened. I should start off by saying my hair was bad. Poor cut, horrible color, and a lot of damage. I told Amanda i wanted a healthy dark look. She gave me EXACTLY what i was looking for. She was personable, polite, and very professional. I left feeling amazing. Since my first visit to Lavish I have been back for Amanda to touch up my color and do a full head of extensions (one of her specialties, that is hard to find in a stylist). I have never, ever, been more pleased with my hair. I get so many compliments not only on the color and extensions but how healthy it looks! Since getting my hair done by Amanda i started going to Stephanie for my nails as well. She is an artist!!! Does an amazing mani as well as a full set! I tried both and I am addicted to her designs, colors, and expertise! Anyone looking for a FULL SERVICE Salon needs to try Lavish! I have never been more please with the look of my hair and nails. Previously I would just go to any $10 haircut factory but Robbert is a pro with even the trickiest of hair and now it looks so much better. I have cowlicks and my hair grows in unevenly all over the place and so typically looks ridiculous within a few weeks of having it cut but Robbert takes the time to approach it from different angles and checks frequently for overall balance. When I describe to him the look I'm seeking, but using all of the wrong words to do so (out of honest ignorance for the right terminology as a regular guy), we talk it through so there are no surprises. read more

I was so happy with my manicure from Steph at Lavish! They had one appointment left for the day and she was kind enough to come in early and give me and amazing gel mani with a cute spring floral design. Kudos to her for her lovely little salon! I will definitely be back soon! read more

Got my credit card statement today for the "bad" service I received and they had the nerve to add $25 to my bill on top of the $130 I paid! I gave the hairdresser $20 tip in cash! I will be going further with this. I was always told to write the total at the bottom of the receipt because I have seen this happen to friends when they went out to dinner and the waitress decided to add more money for herself, did not think a hair salon would have the nerve to do this, beware VERY shady business! read more

Amanda at Lavish is the best stylist I have ever gone to! I had extremely damaged hair from prior extensions plus my very curly hair is very difficult to manage/ style. She took my damaged hair and put in Donna Bella extensions and they look absolutely beautiful. Even other customers in the salon though it was my hair because it looked so natural. She did an beyond amazing job and I won't be going anywhere else! Thanks, Amanda! In regards to the negative review below about not being about to get a "walk in appointment" for nails. Steph is the only tech at the salon and doesn't do walk ins simply because she is so good she does book up. I highly recommend you making an appointment and see her amazing work for yourself. She is extremely busy because she is an excellent tech and is in high demand which in my mind shows it is worth the wait. If you want a walk in appointment, I suggest you go to an Asian salon where the work/quality won't nearly compare. I have never been able to truly get the color I am looking for, and after my last salon changed color lines and had barley any options for an ashy blonde like myself, I decided to try out Lavish. Amanda is very professional and is wonderful at what she does. She understood exactly what I wanted my color to look like and made it happen! I always love a super natural highlight and lowlight but it's so difficult to find somebody with the experience to execute it well without being stripey. Amanda killed it and I feel like I gained a friend from our appointment. Everybody at Lavish is super friendly and their little dog Romeo is so sweet. The salon is very clean and inviting, their sink is insanely comfortable, and I love the products they use. I will definitely be returning to Lavish for my next hair appointment and am interested in venturing back into getting my nails done just because of my positive experience. :) read more

I had my hair done by Amanda who DESTROYED it.. She damaged my hair so bad I had to cut 6 inches of burnt to a crisp hair off. I would never recommend her to my worst enemy.... she does only what she wants, disregarding what you say you want done to YOUR hair, and she has a horrible additude rolling her eyes at you and huffing n puffing under her breath if you want something done that she doesn't feel like doing..and you had better hope she doesn't have plans or phone calls while she's doing your hair because she's more interested in what she's doing later or gossiping on the phone rather than paying attention to your hair.....and for all this, you get charged an absolutely INSANE amount of money. I was in tears leaving the salon and she did not care...it was the worst, most humiliating, embarrassing experience I've ever had in a salon AND she still charged me! This girl is an evil, selfish person and I will never go back there!!! And if anyone asks me, ill tell them to run in the opposite direction as LAVISH! read more
