One of my biggest pet peeves is in asking to see one massage therapist, being greeted by that…read moreperson upon arrival, but then finding that a different masseuse comes in for the session. That's exactly what happened on my visit. But the team here is very kind and accommodating. The biggest draw is the price point. The team generally offers specials and you get a massage at a fraction of the price -- about $50 or so for an hour. It is very difficult to find such an affordable spot, and one that keeps decent hours. It is very accessible. But the space is lacking in ambiance (though it is tidy) and the massage was just OK. Nothing terribly wrong, but I did not experience the depth of relaxation to which I was accustomed. Also, I left feeling appreciative for the time, but the benefit of the massage (which will usually last me 2-3 days ) was not apparent, so I ended up going to my regular masseuse later in the week. Given these reasons, Southbay Massage simply can't compete, and pales pales in great comparison, with my favorite location: Cozy Thai.

The Asian lady that was massaging me her hands were rusty af. My personal opinion for massage therapist you should have feminine soft hands not ruthless and rusty lol. 3. I don't know how to feel. This is the first massage parlor that takes my panties completely off to my buttocks and massages my ass. It felt good lol yet very uncomfortable. So, if that's your thang then this is the spot. Just tip them because their job is hard. My massage was for 90 minutes.

She worked out all my knots, released all the tension, and made me feel relaxed from head to toe. This was hands-down one of the BEST massages I've ever had. If you're looking for a massage that melts your stress away, you need to book with her. Thank you, Sofía!

I couldn't believe what I experienced--it's a definite no for me! After reading the glowing reviews…read moreon Groupon, I expected a soothing escape, but the reality was shocking. We purchased a foot massage, only to be led to what can only be described as their break room. Trust me I do not have high expectations for foot massage places. But i do expect cleanliness, clear lines between break rooms and foot massage rooms. It was an odd experience that I do not wish to repeat. The room was cluttered, with remnants of personal activity everywhere. Near the makeshift foot massage beds were personal blankets carelessly tossed aside, and the trash was overflowing, food storage, security tv camereas, phone chargers. This is where the employees sleep between clients. creating an unpleasant atmosphere. Honestly, I couldn't make this up if I tried! It was a far cry from the relaxing experience I anticipated. say we did not stay. Waste of money

I went in today for a 90 minute massage and was asked to pay for the service before the massage. I…read morehad seen this before, so no problem. The total was $105, and I tipped $20 on top of that...standard 20%. During the massage (while she was working on my back), my masseuse asked if she could lower my underwear, which I said was fine, and then she all of a sudden removed them completely leaving my backside completely exposed on the table. When she asked me to flip over, I had to ask for the sheet so I could cover myself. While on my back and she was massaging my arm, she asked if she could ask me a question. She went into an explanation that she only gets paid on tips, and could I give her more tip. I thought I misunderstood and said I had already tipped, and she said "only $20. Tip more." I said I'd think about it. I was absolutely stunned. We were only about 2/3 of the way through the massage, and I almost ended it right there and left. When the massage was over, she went to get me a water while I was dressing. When she came back in with the water, I saw she had my receipt in her hands. As I got up to leave, she positioned herself in front of the door and said "what do you think?" I reluctantly took the receipt and added another $5 so that she would let me out. I have never in my life had this happen, and I found it absolutely unacceptable and rude. I will never be back, and I will make sure to advise everyone I know to avoid this place.

Originally found this deal on Amazon for a 1/hr massage for $36. I called to see if I could get an appointment for the same day and the owner told me to come in and just pay him directly instead of purchasing on Amazon. I ended up going for a 2pm appointment and enjoyed the massage; even tipped the woman who performed my massage... Just to get home and find out I was short $60. All I took into the establishment was my wallet and when I notified the owner, he backed the massage therapist 100%. He did not act like he cared, he was immediately defensive when I contacted him, and he referred to his business as just "fun" for him so I get the impression he doesn't even take it seriously. I am uploading screen shots of the conversation u had with the owner after my appointment. I also got a bad vibe when I walked in just to see a plethora of men coming in and out, and it looked as if there was more then legitimate massages taking place here. The phone number that I dialed is not even a business landline. It's his personal cell phone that he used to make appointments and send you over to the establishment. I realized I paid up front but the tons of men coming on going were taken straight back. It just seemed like a real shady business to me. BEWARE IF THIS PLACE!! I would suggest you do NOT take your business here!!
