Adj: Still Satisfactory and Solid Shopping Site…read more Still a pretty good mall in the Phoenix area. It's technically in Tempe, but it's in the valley so it's all the same, lol... There's so much offered here and really convenient and centrally located. Many different retail stores and restaurants. From clothing to novelty, to toys, shoes, to department stores, it's all here. Plus lots of eateries of all kinds, esp. in the food court area. Several clearance/"outlet" type stores for brand names like Nike too. There are also the movies, a Rainforest Cafe, a Legoland mini-theme-park, plus the Arizona SeaLife Aquarium, so you can definitely spend the whole day here and have so much fun, and find all kinds of goodies that'll lighten your heart and your wallet. Mall staff we saw were working hard at keeping all parts of the mall clean, esp. around the common areas like the bathrooms and emptying out trash cans, etc. at the food court. Individual retail store staff were friendly and helpful too. Overall, a really comprehensive and comfortably curated collection of stores in a clean shopping center environment. Most importantly, you'll get your steps in as this mall is in a vast space and on one floor, so it's quite spread out and you'll do a lot of walking. Thankfully, it's also nicely cool here, perfect for the heat in AZ.

The store was well organized, items were easy to find, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, what stood out most was the customer service I received. Alyssa and Melany are excellent examples of how much of a difference employees can make in shaping a customer's overall experience. I did experience an issue with my store credit card. I couldn't understand why it wasn't working, especially since I had just used it. During a previous visit to another Marshalls location, the manager was unable to offer any assistance beyond telling me to call the customer service number. I left feeling frustrated because I was missing out on earning points, which was one of the main reasons I came into the store that day. This is where Alyssa R. truly went above and beyond. She noticed that my card wasn't working, and when I explained what had happened at the other store, she immediately recognized the issue. She explained that this had happened before and confidently suggested adding the card to my digital wallet. Although I initially had trouble figuring out how to do it, Alyssa patiently walked me through the process, and it worked! Her knowledge, confidence, and willingness to help turned a frustrating situation into a very positive experience. I haven't typically shopped at Marshalls or its sister stores, but this experience has genuinely changed my perspective on the company and its commitment to customer service. Please let Alyssa R. and Melany S. know that their efforts do not go unnoticed. Their willingness to help customers and ensure a positive experience makes a real difference. Employees like them can shape how customers feel about a store long after they leave, especially since they are often the last people customers interact with during their shopping experience. Great job, Alyssa and Melany! Thank you for making a difference and reminding me that excellent customer service isn't just about resolving an issue--it's about making customers feel valued and giving them a reason to come back.

What a lovely plaza to shop, dine, and even get your self-care items. I attended a Yelp Event here…read moreat LATHER in 2023 and I've been frequenting the plaza a few times a year since (another great find thanks to Yelp). Love that they decorate for the holidays and just opened a Salt & Straw! I'll definitely continue to return and keep seeing new shops and eats to try. All the places I've tried have been friendly with a good selection and comparable price points to similar shops. If you are in the area, I'd definitely stop by. My perfect visit would be getting a Watermelon Iced Tea from AJ Fine Foods, Lavender & Pear hand soap/lotion from LATHER, sushi from Sushi Vibe, and end with a delicious treat at Salt & Straw.

My wife and/or I will occasionally meet friends for a meal, happy hour, or to try out a new restaurant or shop. The Uptown Plaza has some great restaurants. They are in general rather casual though some dressier. The Henry and Salt & Straw are probably my favorites, though I am excited for DiMaggio's Italian Restaurant to open soon. I also sometimes meet up with friends or family or even head there on my own. There's something for everyone and plenty to see and do; however, some of my favorite stores and restaurants have closed and been replaced over the years. It also happens to be where my wife and I had our first date! The Biltmore Fashion Park is known for some great restaurants. While there are some upscale and casual restaurants there, my favorites include Seasons 52 or True Food for a good meal and Frost a Gelato Shoppe for dessert. I really enjoy having several Fox restaurants at the Biltmore. There are also many other restaurants in the area. Several of the restaurants have great happy hours, too. I miss the Crepe Club though several other restaurants have opened since then. There are also plenty of shops from upscale shops to more casual ones like Lululemon and Sakes 5th Avenue. There are fancy clothing stores that my wife may enjoy though I typically enjoy the nice courtyard or seating outside some of the stores while she shops. Then, we grab a bite somewhere together. I miss the Apple Store and Sharper Image but look forward to what is opened next. There are also experiences from the Sip & Stroll (where you can enjoy a beverage from one of six restaurants and then walk around), meet-up with the Phoenix Run Club, the Art Walk, the Swiftie Liftie Outdoor Workout Class, or one of a number of galas or special events. Find more details on what is coming up at the Biltmore Fashion Park at https://www.reddevelopment.com/biltmore-fashion-park/events. While stores and restaurant hours may vary, the hours are typically 10 AM to 8 PM daily except for Sundays from 12 Noon to 6 PM. There is plenty of free parking around the Biltmore Fashion Park along with valet options. You can read more about the Biltmore Fashion Park at https://www.reddevelopment.com/biltmore-fashion-park/visit. There is also a mall map on there along with a listing of activities and experiences with events.

They had a nice boutique there with an assortment of their items for sale. Joining them with booths were PetSmart (pup cups), a couple dog rescue orgs, and a Halloween photographer. There was also great music and really good cash bar making some excellent cocktails. It was a free event. The cocktails were $9 apiece... decent value. Topped it off with dinner at ZinBurger before I left. There's a few great restaurants up there, so will probably back despite the long drive.
