Took 2 very energized and adventurous boys ( 7 and 9) . We got there at opening ( 9). The boys usually get bored with a place after an hour. Stayed until 2:30! There's so much to do and explore. I enjoyed it as well ( 41 year old female nanny) . We climbed , jumped, ran , slid , threw foam , and had a blast. The food at their restaurant was delicious as well. One thing I didn't like about this playground is the pricing. It's advertised as $22 per child, but adults also have to pay $11 to enter. That makes it effectively $33 per kid, since it's not like you're going to leave your three-year-old there by themselves. The pricing feels a bit misleading because of that. They also have only 1h or all day pass. I wish they would offer something in between. Because one hour is not enough, which makes you get an old day pass and you're gonna be there max two hours. On the positive side, the place is nice, clean, and very spacious, which makes sense since it's still fairly new. However, I feel like it's more suitable for kids under 12. There isn't much for teenagers to do, so older kids might get bored quickly. read more

We visited Lava Island Alpharetta located at 7121 North Point Pkwy. Alpharetta, GA 30009, and after seeing it in person I can say this place stands out from every other kids play center we've visited around North Atlanta. Before visiting, I spoke with Graham from the Lava Island corporate office and he encouraged me to see the Alpharetta location for myself. I'm glad we made the trip because the moment you walk in you realize this is not a typical indoor playground. The Lava Island Alpharetta location is over 40,000 square feet, and the energy hits you the second you step through the door. Kids are running, climbing, sliding, exploring, and laughing everywhere. It feels less like a play center and more like a giant world built for kids to move, imagine, and burn energy. My grandson Siah is a kid influencer and model here in Georgia and has experienced many family entertainment places. Lava Island immediately became one of his favorites. The staff made a huge difference in our experience. Tre, the assistant manager, deserves real recognition. Many managers stay behind a desk or behind the counter, but Tre doesn't do that. He walks the floor, checks on families, talks with parents, and makes sure kids feel welcomed and safe. That kind of leadership creates an atmosphere where families actually relax and enjoy themselves. Jackson checked us in and even though he is newer, you would never know it. Friendly, confident, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Another thing that really impressed me was the birthday party rooms. We have visited many birthday venues around Georgia, but Lava Island's party rooms are some of the most creative we've seen. Each room has a different theme -- space, mermaids, adventure -- and stepping into them honestly feels like stepping into a child's imagination. And then there is the menu, which completely surprised us. The chocolate chip cookies are not just good -- they are the kind of cookies that make you pause after the first bite and say, "okay... this is different." I have tasted cookies in many places and I can honestly say these are some of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. The smoothies were just as impressive. We ordered the mango smoothie, and it was so good we ordered another round to take with us when it was time to leave. If you're sitting there as a parent or grandparent while the kids play, enjoying a smoothie and one of those cookies while watching your kids run through a 40,000-square-foot playground almost feels like stress disappearing in real time. People always say Disney World is something every family should experience. Lava Island gave us that same feeling of excitement and imagination -- except it's right here in Alpharetta, Georgia, without the flights, TSA lines, or the travel planning. If you live in Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Duluth, Suwanee, Cumming, or anywhere in the Atlanta area, Lava Island is absolutely worth the drive. In our opinion this is the best indoor playground in Alpharetta, one of the best in Georgia, and easily one of the most impressive family entertainment spaces in the South. After spending time at Lava Island Alpharetta, it's clear that places like this don't happen by accident. Oh was this the most amazing place my students have visited thus far! The space is atrocious! My students were all over the jungle gym which reached towards the ceiling and had many ways to enter and exit. Slides, boxing bags, mirrors, mazes, swings, etc. It will keep your little ones and old ones busy. They will definitely go home tired and worn out. There is a cafe bar inside to order drinks, pizza and other items. They also have party rooms for birthday celebrations. Be sure to complete your waiver online kids and adults entering this place. Fantastic new fun play park adventure center and trampoline park in Alpharetta! Wow! What a well made and excellent Kids center! They seem to have really done their homework and built a very nicely thought out and designed trampoline fun center that has plenty to do and see to keep your young ones and adults engaged. There is a spacious dining area near the entrance where parents can sit and enjoy some delicious and well made food and drinks. I recommend you come here with the idea of splurging a bit and really enjoy all that Lava Island has to offer. We ordered the Funnel Cake Fries, pretzel bites with cheese and a strawberry smoothie. Everything was made fresh and tasted delicious. A few things to note: kids and parents need to fill out a waiver and parents are required to pay (I think we paid half price for adults) so keep that in mind. You can pay for an hour or full day which is only a few bucks more. Memberships available for frequent jumpers. 5 super stars and two thumbs up for Lava Island in Alpharetta and a big thank you to owners and staff for helping to make a truly fun and memorable day! read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I LOVE the themed rooms they have for birthdays! I booked the space room for my sons birthday party and it was such a blast! Everything about this place is 5 stars as a mother of 5! I would like to say a special Thank you to Monroe she made our experience extra special, she was impressively courteous and she is definitely the kind of person you want working for such an establishment! Where kids and adults can play together on stuff! Equipment was sturdy even for adults and was in great condition. The slides really zip you down to the bottom. There are a lot of unique features in the climbing structures, giving lots of play options. The only downside to the visit was that the food took a long time to come out of the kitchen after ordering and a lot of people were putting stuff on tables in the eating area and then playing, which took up space for people with food trying to eat (some people ended up eating on the floor in a corner). We tried to play a party there, and it is impossible to get a person on the phone. They call you back, 7 days later and if you have a question it takes them another week to respond by email. While waiting for a response we went to check out the play place and found it to be way too massive for a birthday party. I would say this is the Bucees of Indoor Playgrounds, and if you have more than 1 kid to keep up with then expect to lose them. We went on a Sunday and there were easily 500 kids, so if your child has any sensory issues it is very overwhelming. I also noticed that since it was so big kids seemed to be acting wilder and I saw several kids hurt, crying with no idea where their parent was to help. I found this place to be stressful to watch my kids as it was too massive. I would much prefer to go to Adventure Air Sports around the corner, where our kids still have tons of room to run around and play and we can still keep an eye on them. read more

It's very clean, and very big. Lots of activities. The kids are having a blast. No complaints about the park itself but the cost model... ugh. I am still struggling with the fact I just paid $11 to sit in the most uncomfortable, cheap plastic chair so I can watch my own kids. There aren't any massage chairs or even padded chairs - it's next-level cheap. If I paid for my own entry, I'd expect at least a sofa or a couple work spaces like they have at other local parks where I don't have to pay entry fees. Kinda scammy. I think I'll be spending my cash at the places where I can play OR rest comfortably - for free! TLDR: Lots of potential but shady cost model. read more

Our visit to Lava Island was an absolute nightmare. The lack of supervision and the management's passive attitude regarding child safety is completely unacceptable. During our visit, two serious incidents happened back-to-back: First incident：My daughter was forcefully pushed down to the ground by another child. Second incident： Shortly after, near the volcano slide area, my friend's son was violently struck by another kid who was running around uncontrollably. The impact was so severe that we had to rush him directly to Urgent Care. What makes it worse is the staff's response. The management was extremely passive, dismissive, and handled the entire situation poorly. They showed zero urgency or accountability for a child being injured badly enough to need medical attention. This place is a major safety hazard. They clearly care more about ticket sales than protecting the children inside. Parents, please beware and think twice before bringing your kids here. read more

DO NOT go to this place! It is a TOTAL RIP-OFF!! We planned a party for a 6 year old. The cost was supposed to be $350. When the tally was figured, they charged $658 with extra this and that. I took my 3 grandsons(8,6, and 3) on a Saturday. It was packed with kids. Mostly birthday parties. I paid for 1 hour for them. They had a wonderful time! My only complaint would be when their time was up, no announcement was made for their color group that time was up as is done in all the other trampoline places I've taken them to. It took me 15 min to find them all because the place is huge. They are very good at listening for their color group. That would be very helpful especially when the place is packed read more
