We were told that the first one was a trial and we had so much fun with the coach, I can't remember his name but he's awesome. The facility is nice and we had a good time so we said we would come back for the second one and officially sign up. Basically they said that for one month it would be $157 and we would need to sign something and I said okay, that was it. We showed up for 3 of the 4 following weeks and then around Thanksgiving we got super busy and we weren't able to make it for a couple of weeks. I'm thinking, damn well we paid for one class that we didn't go to that sucks but it's not the end of the world. We'll just start back in January when we have more time and start going all 4 weeks every month, no big deal. Fast foward to this week, I check my account as I'm out shopping for the holidays and there's another charge from Amplitude for $157. I call them immediately and get no answer, so I leave a message saying that nobody ever expressed to me that I had signed up for some kind of monthly subscription, I was just told it would be $157 for the month and asked if I could please be refunded. It was before open hours so I figured they'd call me back that night and then I'd explain there was a misunderstanding and no big deal we'd get refunded for December and start back in January. Nobody calls me back so I call the next day, and then the next 3 days after that. Calling and leaving a message every single time. One time a lady answered but told me that she wasn't involved with the office department but she'd have the office person call me right back. So a full WEEK goes by and I finally just got a call this morning at 10:30 AM from Amplitude and I'm thinking finally, someone is going to talk to me about this. Tell me why the first thing I hear from this woman on the phone is that I need to grow up and act like an adult who can read. That I signed a binding legal contract to be charged monthly for a gymnastics class and that in that contract it states that there is a 30-day notice if I want to drop the class or else they have the right to keep charging me until the end of time $157 monthly. NOBODY TOLD ME ANY OF THIS IN TO MY FACE ONE TIME. I understand that it might be in the contract but I am a customer and I trusted the business to give me the full information about the situation and AT AMPLITUDE THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU UNDERSTAND THEIR SYSTEM. The woman that signed me up for the class literally told me "It will be $157 for the full month for both you and your wife, you can sign here and swipe/tap your card." Literally told me nothing else, not that it was a reoccurring payment, not that I needed to let them know BY EMAIL 30 days in advance if I ever plan to stop coming, nothing. I absolutely do not appreciate a local institution doing business this way. This is the kind of thing you would expect from over the phone scam callers and big business corporations trying to trick you into signing up for subscriptions. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the gymnastics class itself or the coaches, but I will not be coming back simply because of the way that this place runs it business and the way that I was treated by the employee on the phone. I have never been told to grow up and act like an adult, or asked if I can read by employee after a WEEK of me trying to get in touch with the business and sort it out. It's absolutely ridiculous and I hope that all of you make sure you read every word of every thing they make you sign here because I PROMISE they're not going to tell you everything you need to know. Absolutely piss poor business and terrible customer service, so rude and so unprofessional. Completely night and day from the respect and intelligence shown by the coaches. I feel bad that the coaches are being represented as a business in such a shotty, unprofessional, and shady way.

Some were better thank others, for example, theater for the stage was good and the broadway type thing was good but 100% of the dance performances were AWFUL regardless of age or dancing style. not sure how after a year of practice they were still this terrible. Definitely did not reflect well on the school and it makes me wonder what parents are paying for. I always heard how great RISPA was but the recitals did not match the laurels. Yikes!

The activities that they do in their classrooms are incredible - they get to participate in Chinese, Spanish, Art and gym classes. The Director, Assistant Director and all of the teachers are very professional, and they genuinely care for every student that walks through their doors. When the boys wake up on the weekends and become disappointed that they are not going to school, it provides us with such peace of mind knowing that they love their teachers, friends and the overall learning experience that Cadence provides. Cadence has become a part of our extended family, and we are forever grateful that we found them.

She absolutely loved the school and really exceled. The staff and curriculum prepared her extensively for her dual language immersion elementary school. She still talks about the teachers and misses going to the school. We really appreciate the school hours and they are very accommodating with schedules so it's great for working parents. We also enrolled our son at Cadence since he was 3 months old and he is now almost 4 years old, about to start Pre-K. Ms. Mickie and Ms. Kelly are amazing. They have very high standards for the daycare and always communicate with the parents. I email them and will always receive a response within 24-48 hours, most of the time the day of. As parents, we really appreciate the communication and transparency. The teachers are the best of the best. Most of them have been there decades and they truly love the kids. We love Ms. Monica and Ms. Maria, they treat the kids like their own. It really feels like a family. I cannot rave about them enough. They also send daily updates on the activities, what they ate, and pictures throughout the day. There is Mandarin class every Tuesday, book days, yoga, arts and crafts, STEM learning, etc. We love the school and cannot recommend them enough.

At 7 p.m. on the eve of a holiday weekend, families and teachers were notified that the center would be closing effective immediately (7/2), leaving everyone scrambling for childcare, jobs, and countless unanswered questions. They still haven't emailed us back after 3 attempts. The staff deserved far better. I would encourage prospective families to carefully consider the organization's communication, leadership, and stability before enrolling. In my experience, this situation did not reflect the values and mission the organization promotes.

ISR- Infant swim resource…read more PSA: We have had an awful experience and hopefully this helps other parents looking at this as an option for their kid(s). We scheduled with TANYA CAREW out of the Cumming Aquatic Center. Our child had 9 lessons before Tanya stopped showing up. On what was supposed to be day 10, she sent 6 kids home because the capillary refill at the heel was too slow meaning they were too cold and couldn't stay in the pool. The next day she text after our child's lesson was supposed to have started and said she was cancelling lessons because "they are having lessons today". Odd, as I know there are supposed to be lessons... my kid has one scheduled. She is double booking her time. I asked about make up lessons. No response. The very next day she no call no showed. Parents & their kids were showing up all morning and being told no one had seen the instructor. The next day of lessons, a text came in mid-morning saying she wasn't feeling well. At this point we are just getting scammed. ISR has been contacted and we requested a refund but each instructor is an independent contractor so their hands are tied. They can't do anything. TANYA CAREW finally answered us 5 days later saying ISR has a strict no refund policy and she wouldn't be refunding us. She again gave no options for rescheduling, making up lessons missed or refunding us for the time our child wasn't in the pool. She referred us to a different instructor and stated she wouldn't be paying her either so we would have to fork out another $1,000 to get our child started with them. I have heard positive feedback from other co workers and parents who put their children through ISR in Buckhead but I would steer very clear of Tanya and Cumming.

After a couple of months of playing with the various players, you learn names and how good they are. With the 18 courts, there seems to always be courts available for play. Having access to the ball machine for drills is a big plus (no additional cost). Reasonable cost--multiple membership options. Nice plus--free use of ball machines for drilling. Ask for a free visit to try it out. I signed up for 50% off the first month -- used a discount code for that "TOM50"--to see if I liked it enough to go on to the regularly price and I am still there five months later. Free use of demo paddles is a nice plus too.

We've been at Goddard for a little over a year now and love it more and more by the day! It was so…read morehard for me to drop my first born off with strangers at such a young age, but from the beginning Goddard has been nothing but kind and loving towards him. As a teacher myself, I appreciate the emphasis they put on education, as he has learned more than I could have ever imagined. The entire staff is constantly going above and beyond each and every week to make learning a BLAST. It is super apparent that creating a fun learning environment is a high priority. A few other things to note is their top notch communication efforts. We are always in the know about every thing! As well as the diversity, which can be hard to find in this area. I love that my son gets to celebrate our traditions while also learning about cultures different than his. Lastly, my son is HIGH ENERGY and can be a lot at times. The entire staff at Goddard has never once made us feel like he is a burden, in fact quite the opposite. They have always welcomed his energy with open arms and big smiles, which is huge for me! I was required to…read morepay a deposit fee plus an entire month's tuition up front to secure my spot ($1700 total). 24 hours later I received a message from the school I was on a waitlist for that a 5 day spot was now available, which is what we really needed. I explained to Goddard management that the other school was 5 min from my house, less expensive, and most importantly had a 5 day spot available. I asked if I could at least get some of my money back given the circumstances. They refused to give me back ANY of the $1700 deposit despite the fact that they only had it for less than 48 business hours. My child never even visited the school. They claimed that I could have taken a spot from someone else. I paid them Thursday afternoon and informed them Monday morning about my change of plans. If someone visited Friday who wanted that spot, am I really supposed to believe they couldn't have contacted them immediately on Monday to let them know about an opening? I reached out again and was told they never filled the spot. So if you couldn't fill that spot anyway, why couldn't I get even half of my money back? It's not like we took someone else's spot (according to them anyway). The school we ended up joining didn't require any deposit to secure my spot, and the owner purposely enrolls less students than the GA requirement to provide a better and more nurturing environment. My son has about 13 kids in his class vs. the 20+ children in the Goddard class. It's clear that the owner is all about money and posting on social media. I am so happy we found a better place for my child.
