Our boys love going to all the camps, and do not mind having to wake up early during their "vacation" time so they can attend summer camps. We also have several friends who have children that participate in their gymnastics program and love having their children involved in the different programs offered at the gym. We would recommend this gym to anyone that is wanting to get involved in gymnastics or wants to take part in a fun and exciting camp.

They market themselves as a developmental program, but once they take your $1,500, player development ceases unless your child is one of the "favorites." Instead, you are paying a premium just for your child to serve as the practice squad for the preferred players. The blatant favoritism is glaring. The preferred players stay on the court to accumulate minutes even when they are consistently turning over the ball, making critical errors, and causing the team to lose. Meanwhile, the benched players are never given a chance. Kids get zero equal opportunity or playing time without parents constantly advocating. Furthermore, the organization has zero allegiance to the families who paid; if they think they can't win, they will pull outside players from other places and plug them in, stripping opportunities away from the kids who have been there. Thus, on top of registration, you are forced to pay gate fees at every tournament just to sit there and watch other kids play. The leadership and staff are entirely toxic. The current 9th grade coach, Dylan, is completely disrespectful and unprofessional. The director, Jordan, actively emboldens and protects this behavior, giving Dylan complete deference simply because he allegedly played professionally overseas--as if that automatically makes him a competent or respectful youth coach. Because of the leadership, the actual training is a joke. If the coach is upset about a game performance, his response is to just smoke the team--making them run back and forth instead of actually drilling the plays they need to know. It's completely counterintuitive. When Jordan steps in or interrupts, he just hollers at the kids as if they should have ESP and automatically understand his instructions, even though they don't work with him consistently. The kids just end up frustrated and confused. To top it off, the HoopSeen circuit they play on is a total travesty and a blatant money grab. The odds are completely stacked against the children and it is incredibly demoralizing. A 15-year-old child will routinely be matched up against 17- and 18-year-olds who are reclassing or playing down. Because of normal growth and development, these older kids are obviously much taller and stronger, making the games entirely unfair. It's hard to believe reputable scouts would come to these tournaments because it's a hodgepodge mess where people lie about what team they qualify to be on. Overall, Suwanee Sports Academy staff do not care about training, growth, or the kids' well-being; they only care about winning and using parents as wallets. The complete lack of respect for paying repeat patrons has been eye-opening, disheartening, and extremely disappointing. The old leadership is missed. Save your money and your child's confidence--avoid this place at all costs!

I wouldn't bother signing up as a free agent without knowing members of the team/the captain pretty well. Some of the captains they rely on are as rude, dishonest, and incompetent as the league officials. The league will tell you they can move you to a new team if you don't get along or are mistreated by the team you're assigned to, then they will wait too long or end up not bothering/lie and tell you it's too late as apparently this league is too serious. Even if there are games remaining in the regular season. If you like having rainout games not being made up and credits not being offered as stated in the terms and conditions then go ahead and sign up. If you like being told specific rules have been disregarded because of apparent captain votes the league didn't announce go ahead. If you want to be assigned to a field you didn't sign up for with no explanation or apology, then be scheduled to play starting as late as 10pm go ahead. This is a ripoff and inconsiderate. I have been polite and am being treated like crap. Don't bother discussing refunds in any circumstances. They probably wouldn't give one even if they cancelled the season. If the league disbanded they would probably try to give you leftover shirts as a comp instead of your money back. Update: Hi Ian, Thank you for your continued engagement with our league and for sharing your concerns. I appreciate the opportunity to address this matter comprehensively. After thorough consultations with both team captains and our support team, alongside a review of our correspondences, it's clear that substantial efforts were made to accommodate your requests. The decision to initially offer a team switch was made in good faith, aiming to enhance your experience within our league--a gesture beyond our typical protocol. However, the nature of your recent requests--particularly the timing and frequency of desired changes--poses significant challenges. Introducing a new player into a team's established dynamics towards the end of the season disrupts not only their strategic setups but also their camaraderie and collective rhythm. Such changes can be detrimental to the overall team environment and the league's integrity. Given these considerations, and with respect for all participants, it is not feasible to proceed with a team change at this stage. Our policies and the structure of the season do not support such a move this late in the game without risking the detriment of all involved. Furthermore, as per our terms and conditions, the circumstances described do not qualify for a credit issuance. While I understand this may be disappointing, please know that the decision is rooted in maintaining fairness and consistency across our league. I must emphasize that this decision is final, and as such, we will not be able to entertain further discussions on this matter. Your understanding and acknowledgment of the efforts made on your behalf would be appreciated. Thank you for your participation this season, and while I regret that we may not meet your expectations in this instance, I sincerely hope you find a league that aligns more closely with your preferences. Live Life Fun, Britt Mench ---- I didn't say I was leaving the league prior to this. They told me I wasn't welcome back after one of their captains was rude to me. The league director was too busy for me.
