My wife and I travelled as part of a pilgrimage to Fatima organised by the Parish of Dungiven. It was one of the nicest weeks of my life and a large part of this was down to how Lauri Duffy organised the pilgrimage. Our pilgrimage was guided for the week by one of the most wonderful guides I have every come across - Corrina. From start to finish she had youthful charm, great English and a clear and genuine practice of our religion - someone who was devout, happy and a great singer in leading hymns whilst we travelled to various places to visit. Our hotel even had a little chapel in which our Priest was able to celebrate Mass for our group. Corina had contacts with a convent in Lisbon where little Jacinta stayed during her illness as well as other religious locations. I found her faith and leadership of our pilgrimage inspiratiional and especially so from a young mother who juggling her work commitments with that of being mother to two young boys. I understand that Corrina works most of her time for Irish Pilgrims. I would also add that the hotel used by Lauri Duffy was of a very high standard in terms of rooms, food and service. read more
