I had booked a flight to Sarajevo on Sunday morning to attend the Ireland away game aginst Bosnia. Payment was taken from my account and my confirmation email was received. yesterday (Monday) I got a call at 5:35pm to inform me that my booking had not gone through and flight prices have increased by €120 per person. This is obviously due to the demand of Irish fans traveling to the playoff game against Bosnia. If I had been informed earlier that my booking had not been processed by the airline carrier then I could have obtained a much better price that is currently available. Now, I'm left high and dry. Budgetairways tell me that I won't have the money that they have taken back in my account for several days so I can't afford to book any flights, let alone much more expensive ones. I can't understand how it took them until close of business to determine that my booking had not gone through. Either they have a terrible system or someone didnt want to make the call to me. Neither is of great consolation to me at the moment. I would like to know what Budgetairways is going to do to rectify this situation as I am raging. read more
