After seeing the other two reviews, I had to write experience to the complete contrary.
My first experience with Dr. Ehrlich was as a second opinion. I had moved to Delray Beach from Hollywood during the investigation into why I had fevers for months after having a gangrened gallbladder removed. I had been to every specialist available and had every test possible done more than once, to no avail. The fevers lasted 12-16 hours per day and climbed by a couple degrees each month to, by the 5th month 105.5. When they decided it was time for Shands at UF or Mayo Clinic in Jax, with no insurance to cover, I decided it was time for a second opinion.
Dr. Ehrlich told me they would probably find all the same nothing in tests, but that we could treat the symptoms, which he did. The fevers had manifested severe arthritis in every joint I had, some of which I didn't even know I had. He prescribed Celebrex to help with that pain. But being asprin x 1000, it also hit the fevers. In three days, I was feeling as good as ever. Despite the warning that I may need to be on the meds the rest of my life ($450/mo), a month of samples (free) I was good to go.
When I've had surgeries for skin cancer (2x), I got the pre-surgical appt. without issue.
So yes, you sign the paper and sit down and wait for them to call your name. How hard is that? Refilling a prescription that has expired without seeing you is why Florida is known as a pill-mill state throughout the country. Have a real problem and need a real doctor? Dr. Ehrlich is the one to see. read more
