I had my first visit with Dr. Becker today and I could NOT be any happier! I have put off dentist appointments for quite a long time due to awful experiences - but my experience with Dr. Becker's office was AMAZING! You walk in to the impeccably (and stylishly) decorated office, and are promptly directed into the clean (also stylish) exam rooms with modern tech and comfortable seating. They even give you some cool sunglasses to protect your eyes from the bright light! Eric was my hygienist and he was awesome! He was very personable and immediately found ways to relate to me. When it came to the cleaning it was also a learning experience! He walked me through every step and why each little thing he was doing was important, and taught me how to replicate some of the steps on my own at home. While I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and I definitely floss WAY less than I'm supposed to, Eric never yelled at me or shamed me. He simply gave me some tips and tricks to easily incorporate better oral hygiene into my daily routine without making it a drag. When it came time for Dr. Becker to come in for the exam, she entered the room like we were long-time friends although this was the first time we had ever met. She was so knowledgable and made me feel really comfortable. She took images of my teeth and showed me them all up close and talked through her recommendations with me. It was nice to be a part of a conversation about my oral health as opposed to being spoken at. It felt great to know that she cared about me as a patient, not just another number walking in her door (as I've experienced other places). I can rap the rest but I don't want anything to take away from the legitimacy of this review and the fact that even though I still can't feel half my face I couldn't wait to drop the knowledge and clearly agree with what so many have said, however i'll say it my way....DR. BECKER IS THE MOTHA F'ING HANDS DOWN BAR NONE BEST DENTIST ON THE PLANET. Forget the latest technology and all the bells and whistles cause that in itself kept me occupied the entire time, or the cable tv to watch, or the nicest staff and assistants. DR. Dr. Becker and her team are the best! They are extremely at ease and calm (which is always helpful when visiting the dentist). She is always on time...and I am not. Her team and she are always accommodating if I'm running late she seems to squeeze me in. She has also helped me with some dental questions I had that I knew would lead me to surgery one day. She's given me wonderful recommendations but also made feel that I don't need to rush to get things done. Her practice is very high-tech - in the way that you feel as though you understand what and why she is doing whatever procedure needs to be done, but not in the way that you wish you didn't know what was going on in there! Mostly it is a very down to earth practice with a great team - Gabby and Eric. Dr. Becker makes it so I don't mind going to dentist!! read more

Dr. Becker is truly amazing. She is a superb dentist and a kind, warm person. Her staff is friendly and super helpful. When I first went to see her, I had not been to a dentist in 10 years because I am a very, very nervous patient. In fact, I only went because I was having some terrible toothaches. She was sitting at the front desk when I walked in (the office squeezed me in right away because my teeth hurt so much.) She went out of her way to talk to me, make me feel comfortable and relaxed. She talked me through everything she did. She even sent me a text that night to check on me! I now go for regular appointments and while I still get slightly nervous, I can honestly say that the whole thing is no big deal. Dr. Becker and her staff are absolutely wonderful. Before becoming one of her patients, I had not been to the dentist in a very long time and kept putting it off because of nervousness and anxiety. Finally, I decided to be an adult and get back on a regular dental care routine. Upon my first visit, Dr. Becker was so warm and friendly, I almost forgot I was at the dentist! She did everything possible to make me feel comfortable and going to the dentist is no longer a scary experience! Her office is clean and has all of the state of the art equipment. Dr. Becker is an amazing dentist and the office is top notch! Dr. Becker is warm, friendly, honest, and I always feel like I'm in the best hands! She takes her time explaining things and I'm confident in the advice that she gives me for my teeth. While I haven't gotten any major work done yet (knock on wood), I would feel extremely comfortable with Dr. Becker as I know she has the knowledge and the skills. I truly can't say enough positive things about Dr. Becker, her staff, and her office. Dr. Becker is extremely friendly and approachable, which helps even the most nervous dental patients like myself feel at ease. Her office is super modern, clean and high tech. I love that I can watch TV or even Netflix while I get my teeth cleaned! As an added touch, she always has some new piece of trendy and fun shwag like a tote bag to offer her patients. My husband I don't even live in New York City anymore and we go out of our way to schedule visits back East to coincide with our dental cleaning schedule. The previous dentist that I frequented for about 8 years made me severely anxious about every single visit, so I have skipped seeing any dentist for close to five years. Then the situation with my problematic tooth deteriorated. I have asked Dr. Becker for a consultation. It was either a root canal and a crown or her magic. I chose the latter - it was a long and painless procedure (I think Dr. Becker suffered more than I did). Didn't bother watching Netflix on the TV next to me during my procedure, so cannot comment on that. Rest of the staff that I met is equally professional, courteous, thoughtful and friendly. Dr. Becker is an awesome dentist! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great dentist in NYC. Recently I needed a veneer replaced and Dr. Becker came to the rescue. I had been going to my dentist on LI since I was a kid and had been returning there whenever I needed a veneer replaced (since he put them in the first place) but needed a better solution because it's a bit of pain to drive to LI every time I need dental work. Dr. Becker replaced two veneers for me and did a simply amazing job, you'd never be able to tell they weren't my real teeth (or part of the original set of veneers for that matter)! Dr. Becker and her amazing staff are professional and personable. The office is excellent at keeping me informed of appointments via text, email and phone calls. They are respectful of time and always have me in and out, while doing an extremely thorough job on my teeth. Dr. Becker's new office is pristine, and beautifully modern. I recently had my first visit with Dr. Becker. As a person who has quite a fear of the dentist she immediately put me at ease. Her patience, positive attitude and professionalism quickly made me relaxed. After awhile I forgot I was even in a dental chair! It was probably the best experience I've ever had at a dentist office. I just left an appointment with Dr. Becker, and need to write a review! Her whole office makes everything from start to finish to easy and enjoyable. The office is beautiful and relaxing (how often is that said about a dentist?!), she is super professional yet personable, and there really is nothing better than watching Netflix while getting your teeth cleaned. I've been going to Dr. Becker for a year now and from routine teeth cleanings to getting 3 cavities filled at once it's always as painless as possible. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Becker. She is a phenomenal dentist. I have been a patient for 4 years now and feel blessed to have found her. When I first moved to the city I didn't have a dentist and it took me a while to find one because I wanted a good one. I found the best! Her staff is great: Eric and Gabrielle. So happy Dr. Becker moved into this office! The space is beautiful and the staff are all so nice. I live and work downtown, but making the trip to still be Dr. Becker's patient is 100% worth the travel.
