The two dentists are excellent, thorough, and personable. We've seen several different hygienists at our various appointments and have no complaints. I have been treated very rudely and the hygienists I have seen over this recent time period have been very rough on my mouth, not treating me with the care that I was used to receiving from prior hygienists. I have had to wait at least 20 minutes each time I come in for a visit. One time I had a 3 week old at home and informed them of this, and they did not seem to care. Another time when I was pregnant, my seat was pushed all the way down and I was left in this unsafe and uncomfortable position for a very long time. The billing has also been very complicated and we have received bills for items we already paid for. Invisalign was being sold to my husband when he went in. It's a shame because I went here for a very long time, but this is no longer an acceptable level of care for my family and I.

Dr Davaninejad care is first rate. She and her hygienist Sara, work well together. I don't suffer from pain or anxiety when they works on me. Somebody wrote a note here saying you already did it!" I got pulled to the back by an assistant (?), she never introduced herself or what role she did. She did a fantastic job with the x-rays and cleaning though! A lady named Kim walked in next, no clue what her role was either. She spoke to me about cleaning and flossing as if I were a 5 year old child. I'm a petite woman who is on the younger side, but cmon. As someone who's worked in healthcare for over 5 years, this was the worst bedside manner I've ever seen and experienced in my life. Dr. Nguyen was the next person in the room and spoke about 5 words to me then left. I am interested in doing Invisalign but they do consultations only on Wednesdays and Fridays with the last appointment being at 4pm. Nothing on Saturdays. That's difficulty for someone who works an 8-5 job and cannot get off. Overall, I was unimpressed with this visit and will be debating with coming back.

Despite being assured upfront that the services would be covered, I was required to pay in full. Following the procedure, the office failed to coordinate properly with our insurance provider. We have waited over six months for reimbursement, yet less than half of the services have been covered. Each time we follow up, we are met with excuses rather than a resolution. There is always something that they claim we haven't done and that the time passed without payment is our fault. The lack of professionalism and the difficulty we have experienced with this business is unacceptable. Don't waste your time or money.

Like HATE, after some trauma growing up…read more After cracking my tooth in the winter, I was referred to Northern Virginia Oral Surgery by my dentist. I was worried that this experience would be another one that I would have to grin and bear for the sake of my teeth. From the moment I walked in, I knew it would be a different experience. The office is aesthetically pleasing, professional and warm; the staff were so kind, one team member was on the phone and another came over right away to check me in and get my payment. I appreciated that they sent me information prior to the appointment regarding what was covered and what was not. No surprises or weirdness there. Once I went back, I was prepped for the procedure by a staff member, I was doing general anesthesia, so they asked all of the right questions and then I was seen within a few moments by Dr. Rostami. The procedure went well, just felt like I took an amazing nap. While I kind of can't recall leaving either time because of the anesthesia, my friend who picked my up said they were great and my husband, who is a STICKLER for professionalism, said they were good. I had to call today to get a copy of an invoice for HSA, and it was in my inbox within 5 minutes and AJ stayed on the phone until I confirmed receipt. Thank you all for creating an environment where people can feel comfortable and confident in the team from start to finish. I have one more visit in a few months and hopefully I'll be all good.
