It was the front staff that was disconcerting. I don't know her name but she had dark hair and wore glasses. She was rude when I arrived. I drove two hours to get there and I was 2 minutes late. Which she mentioned. She was rude to other people as they checked out to get future appointments. She snapped her gum which made her even more annoying. It's the front desk that makes the first impression upon a business and especially a medical business. It would have been nice if she could have just smiled.

One of the most disappointing healthcare experiences imaginable…read more My boyfriend went through the process of getting a referral, scheduled an appointment, and took time away from work (nearly an hour) to receive medical care. The reason for the appointment was outlined in the referral, yet when he arrived, the doctor essentially told him they didn't have a basic medical instrument needed to examine his ear and made little to no effort to find an alternative or help him. He was essentially left being told there was nothing they could do for him. To make matters worse, when my boyfriend asked the doctor to examine some moles on his skin, the examination felt rushed and lacked the attentiveness and care a patient should reasonably expect from a dermatologist. I understand that not every office has every piece of equipment available, but what I cannot understand is the complete lack of initiative, compassion, or willingness to help find a solution. If the office was unable to address the very reason for the referral, why was this appointment allowed to proceed in the first place? It's already difficult enough to encourage someone you love to prioritize their health and seek medical attention. Experiences like this only make that harder. People are taking time off work, losing wages, paying for appointments, navigating referrals, and putting their trust in medical professionals because they have genuine concerns about their health. The least they should be able to expect is that their time, money, and concerns will be taken seriously. Instead, my boyfriend paid for an appointment, sacrificed time away from work, and walked away without receiving meaningful help for the very concern he was referred to address. Essentially, he paid to have his time wasted. I don't have the doctor's name, but honestly, this reflects poorly on the entire clinic. Management should be taking a serious look at the level of care being provided and the expectations they have for their staff. Nobody should have to go through all the trouble of accessing healthcare just to leave feeling dismissed, inconvenienced, and no closer to getting the help they originally came in for. These are real people with real families who love them, worry about them, and want to see them receive the care they deserve. Patients deserve better than this. An incredibly disappointing experience and certainly not the standard of care anyone should have to settle for.

I have been seeing Krista at Dr. Trask's office for several years. I cannot tell you how excellent…read moreher work is. I feel like I am in very good hands. She is clear and direct with me, she is very thorough, and she has answered all of my questions in such a manner that I am able to learn from her, which I really appreciate. She taught me how to recognize potential melanoma or other irregularities on my skin versus something that is likely normal. This is really good because in between check ups I don't have stress. It's also good because if something did occur I know to call the office and get an appointment earlier. I've always found the folks that work with Krista are really wonderful as well as the administrative staff. All in all, I have found this to be a very professional, warm, and caring practice.

Never in my life have I ever had a dermatology clinic tell me that. I even told her what my condition was and I will tell you it's very very common. If you want to know why our insurance rates are so high, doctors appointments cost so much money and take so long to get an appointment... This office is a prime example. What a waste of the system. I called another dermatology office and got an appointment. Ridiculous.
