We found this place through a concierge service agent, who suggested that we jump at this chance: openings here are rare because it is excellent. Everyone from the hospice agency to the hospital case manager congratulated us on finding this placement--so much better than the institutional options that were available to us. Ivan welcomed my mother and us with open arms, showing flexibility and compassion with visiting hours that were unmatched in any other establishment. The environment was so warm and welcoming and homey. In her condition my mother wasn't able to take advantage of all of the family style meals and entertainment the other residents shared, but the caring, compassionate, highly skilled staff made her as comfortable as possible, she ate better than she had in weeks, and she was at peace. I was accused of calling them (my cell records tell a different tale) and attempting to 'coerce" her into signing legal documents!! Someone perjured themselves saying this when I have never even stepped foot on their property, let along called and talked to them. Way out of line for a place that I have never been to. They don't know me, what I look like or what I sound like. I don't even know what the building looks like! While they may think it is okay to interfere in peoples lives, I do not take kindly to defamation and character assassination from people whom I have never laid eyes on. I have had to retain legal counsel in order to correct their misinformation and interference in my life and my family's life. Absolutely unacceptable. Take heed and stay the heck away! This place is overpriced and sticks their noses where it does not belong.
