The building is in the heart of downtown. My review is based on the advisor Ms. Auguste. She has been awesome with my son and I. Has answered every question we had as my son will be transferring from the kendall campus. She helped my son with his IEP and her attitude is just great. I told her today that I was kind of weary because some reviews that I had read on MDC advisors were not as great but our experience with the advisors of this particular program has been great. This program looks to be exactly why my son needed as Miami currently does not have schools that are animation geared The program is only about $7,000+- for the whole program as opposed to SCAD that tuns about $250,000.00 for a 3 year program or Dave School in Orlando which will cost about $45,000.00. Trust me, I did my homework before my son entered college.

I paid a high price…read morefor a citizenship course, and after attending some classes in 2023, my teacher informed me that some changes would take place in 2024. He suggested that we pause the classes and resume when my interview date was scheduled. I followed this guidance, and when I received my letter in January 2025, I contacted Ângelo Pineiro to resume the classes. To my surprise, he simply told me that my classes had "expired." ( That I would have to pay for additional classes). How is that possible? If I paid $1,198.00 for the full course, (how can they just cancel my classes without any prior notice or solution? When I tried to argue that this was unfair, he hung up on me and has since ignored all my attempts to reach out. This shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for students who trust this school to achieve such an important goal. Additionally, I have heard that the teachers themselves are not properly paid, which only reinforces the poor management and unethical practices of the administration. If you are looking for a serious school that is truly committed to its students, I do not recommend this school at all. Avoid going through the same frustration that I did.

They pointed out a manatee and then we were looking at that we noticed something else in the water. They immediately grabbed a net and set up an aquarium so that we could look up close at a bristle worm. They let our daughter "fish" for plankton, and then helped her look at what she caught through a microscope. By this time the barge had filled with a lot more people but one staff stayed with us and showed us everything on the back of the barge, plus showed us pictures of the octopus they had found. It was great learning about the sea life by people who really care.

I tried a couple of times to tell her what he was saying and she began to silence me by telling me that she can only take answers from the child. To which I advised, I'm only saying exactly what he was trying to tell her. She proceeded to tell me that her volume is all the way up and she hears me clearly, so... It got to the point where my son stop answering her with his words and began using hand signals. During their meet and greet she revealed that she had been a elementary teacher for 8yrs -i cannot understand how. My 9yr old son, who is a people's person with an outdoor personality was very unengaged. She did not capture him in the slightest. She was more interested in using the 45mins they had together to tell him of her trips to Latin America with her family and her love for making music, then to to figure out how to capture my son's attention and keep him engaged. My goodness -I can go on and on about how badly the lesson went. Can you believe this woman began the lesson by yawning and telling my child she was feeling tired from staying up too late the night before RIGHT AFTER my child told her he was feeling EXCITING about starting tutoring. Then she had the audacity to cancel all future appointments with my child at the beginning of their next appointment with NO notice. The experience with this company has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

My second visit I got different lady, she took 2 minutes to clean my face put mask on my face and was texting to someone all the time. I had to extract all black heads myself when I got home . My third visit I was ready to use all my Spanish vocabulary to explain I need extractions and not massage. When I came for my appointment the receptionist asked me why I came and said I don't have appointment and pretty much didn't have any interest in fixing this problem. We don't schedule for Saturday's anymore, well I was scheduled way before and it would be nice to call and notify that appointment was cancelled. She had zero interest to take care of it. So I had nothing to do but to leave, it takes me about 40 minutes to get there for nothing!
