Xan has become part of the family! In fact, she's worked with at least 3 people we know and spent…read moreover a year helping us get my dad moved, with his (LOTS OF) input, after mom died. She helped from sorting through stuff, to selecting a new place, with new finishes, to packing and movers as well as unpacking and setting up the new place. There was plenty of stuff donated to worthy charities and recipients. Dad couldn't envision a future apartment (from his home of 40+ years) and certainly could not. have arranged it all. By the time he got to his new apartment, the old stuff was moved and arranged so well that he was comfortable even that first night. Every time he went to look for an item, it was just where you'd expect it to be! He was surprised, but I had trust in Xan and her whole team from start to finish!

The situation: I live in a studio apartment with minimal built-in storage space (1 drawer,…read morecomically high cabinets - I'm 5'1", 1 closet), and I am clueless about design and making things look nice. As a result, I had piles of things everywhere. Containers and cooking implements would topple over and onto my head constantly. Drawers were overflowing with clothes. This was not a cute look. The task: Create storage solutions that look nice and allow me to cook frequently with ease and live comfortably--maybe even entertain occasionally!--within this 400 square foot home. Enter Amy: Miracle worker! Amy has always been able to translate my incoherent ideas and goals into beautiful, streamlined solutions. She is attentive and asks all the right questions to ensure that what we're implementing fits my lifestyle and quirks. When I whine that I have no idea how to organize the door of my fridge and could she please come help me, she does so without complaint or judgment. [insert heart emoji - Yelp wouldn't let me add it] The result: I now have a beautifully minimalist, airy small home that feels plenty spacious and peaceful to me. I can cook with ease; everything is within reach and tidy. In addition, Amy helped me select some design elements that make the space look pretty, cozy, and lived in. AND! With a few spare minutes after one session, she even helped me organize my gmail, which had been causing me dread and overwhelm. Now my inbox is tidy and actionable! I feel like a grown-up. 10/10 would recommend. Amy is talented, professional, and well worth the investment. The services she provides are priceless and have improved my life, productivity, and emotional wellbeing immeasurably. Thank you, Amy!

We hired Amy to unpack and organize our kitchen the day after we moved. We talked beforehand about…read moreour kitchen habits such as which small appliances we use most and least frequently, or how I use certain food items (baking vs everyday use). My husband was home to unpack other rooms and would answer some of her questions, but she would text throughout the day to get my input on things as well. She created a very functional coffee station; an easy-to-use spice cabinet separating the sweet spices, savory spices, and spice mixes; and got a little turntable to put next to the stove with the four items we use the most while cooking. My favorite part about working with Amy is how she did a walk-through when she was done and explained her thought process so that we can stay organized on our own. This is the first time in my life I haven't dreaded unloading the dishwasher or unpacking groceries. I actually enjoy cleaning up the kitchen almost as much as cooking in it.
