Laura was a great partner for us in selling our longtime home in Los Feliz's Franklin Hills at a tricky time in a rapidly changing market. From her initial presentation and the discussion of our goals, through some fairly complex renovations, and all the way to receiving multiple offers and strategizing about how to achieve the best result, she remained patient, enthusiastic, and willing to do whatever it took to understand our concerns and solve any problems that arose. Even when things got tough, Laura kept her head and brought great experience and positive energy to the job. And while Laura is wise to the business aspects, her investment is more than just financial, and it's obvious that she cares deeply about her clients. We'd moved out of town by the time our home hit the market, which was stressful. But Laura was so responsive and thorough in her communication that we always felt reassured and a part of it all, despite the distance. Her good taste and attention to detail showed in everything from remodeling and staging advice to the open houses. A special shout-out goes to her staging partner, Natasha Kassyutina, who really connected with us aesthetically and understood the spirit of our home, and did beautiful work alongside Laura to present its best qualities to buyers. We're very grateful for the great effort and genuinely personal commitment Laura gave to us and to the whole process, and we highly recommend working with her. read more

Laura is the best realtor in LA - the agent we'd recommend without hesitation to a friend or family member when buying or selling in NELA. From the moment we started our home buying journey, she took time to understand our needs, budget, and short and long-term goals. Her integrity, honesty, and kindness made her an ideal partner in the process, while her professionalism, organization, and expertise in finding and closing on a home helped us through what could have been stressful and instead became a fun - and magical - experience :) Laura and her team are experts in NELA, from knowing the area and every home in it, to the process of closing on a home, taking care of everything from inspections to negotiations. We've heard how difficult the process can be and we're so lucky to have Laura make everything go so smoothly. Laura not only works tirelessly for you, but she truly works as a partner - her goals are your goals, always finding ways to get you the best deal and to make sure you're happy with the outcome - finding a home that was the right size, in the right location, that was exactly what we wanted. We're so grateful to have bought our dream home thanks to Laura! read more

We absolutely loved working with Laura - she took the time to get to know us and understand what we were looking for in our home purchase; she carefully arranged each viewing day, and gave honest feedback on what each opportunity presented. She knows the market exceptionally well, and is an excellent negotiator. Laura is now our realtor for life - I will not sell or purchase another property without her stewardship! read more

Laura is a gem in the real estate world. She is one of the best agents you can work with. She is intelligent, knowledgeable and honest. I have a long history of working with her parents, George and Eileen, since the sale of my first home in 1998. I have only positive things to say about the entire family. They are my go to realtors, and I am always confident that I will be in good hands. I had the pleasure of working with Laura in particular in the last year. She assisted my son and his fiancé early last year on finding their dream home. Negotiations on behalf of a young couple can be daunting, but she handled the entire process like a pro and helped to guide them through the entire process. More recently, Laura helped to sell two properties held in trust after the death of my close friend. She agreed to take on the sale although it was not in her normal territory. She managed to sell the first house off market for one of the highest prices in that area of WLA in the last 3 years! The second house also sold for over asking price. During that chaotic time after a death of a loved one, it was such relief to know that Laura was in my corner to assist in the sales. She and her team are all professionals, and I would highly recommend them. read more

Laura is one of the best agents you can hope for. She's extremely knowledgeable , well connected and quickly gets what you are looking for, to steer you towards what you're looking for, in terms of style and practicality. That is great when looking for your first house in LA, having just moved from the East Coast. She's not only good but also nice, kind and patient, and will hold your hand throughout the process. My spouse and I could not have hoped for a better ally, especially in the crazy market of the recent months. I highly recommend Laura. read more

Our home sold for 400K over asking! As first time home-sellers, we had long been apprehensive about the process. While we had seen the Moreno Group signs around, it was after a strong personal recommendation that we contacted them. We are so glad we met Laura and her team. Laura made things as painless as possible and basically took over as a project manager. Trusting her, we followed her steps of appropriate renovations, tasteful staging (her stager Natasha was also great), and putting forward a smart pricing and marketing strategy. While there were certainly challenges we came across, Laura and her team helped us deal with them appropriately. Laura even went out of her way to help us with other real estate related issues unrelated to the property she was working on. As great as Laura is, she also has a great team behind her that played an important role like Alex Patch and Eileen. To me, having the least painful experience was the main priority, but on top of this, we sold for a price way higher than we ever imagined. Our price per sq ft is one of the highest I've ever seen. You cannot beat this experience. Laura and the Moreno group are the place to go for any real estate needs in the area (Los Feliz/Silver Lake/Glendale/Echo Park/Hollywood/La Canada/etc). read more

My girlfriend and I worked with Laura to purchase our first home. We never expected to be homeowners so soon, and we - in large part - owe that to Laura. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. She did everything she could to get us in the perfect house. We honestly don't know if this would have been possible without her guidance and reputation as an agent. Will be recommending her to all of my friends and family who are interested in purchasing a home in LA. read more

Laura is a miracle worker - she helped us win a bidding war for our dream home at a great price in the midst of this crazy market! I firmly believe that laura is the best agent in her market and getting to work with her was a joy. She works with her family and between all of them they have decades of experience selling or buying most of the house worth having in the Los Feliz/Silverlake/Canyon/Handcock neighborhoods. Because if this she knows all of the agents in the area well, which she leveraged to get us inside information to submit the most competitive bids we were comfortable submitting. Our home search took almost a year since we were so specific on the type of home we wanted and the location. Laura was amazing and patient every step of the way! She found us off market listings and came with us on every tour (50+ tours). She told us to walk away from many places that she thought were either not for us, we'd never get our money out of because they were so overvalued, or because they needed serious fixes. She was right every time. Most agents just want commission so it's rare to find someone who will invest their time with you to find exactly the right home for you. The seller's agents told us that the only reason we got the house was because Laura was such a amazing agent and negotiator. She helped us win in the bidding war and had a whole roster of excellent inspectors and specialist that she was able to schedule within our short inspection window. When costly repairs were uncovered by those inspections (she attended all of them), she was able to negotiate a substantial sellers credit for us to pay for the fixes despite them having a solid back-up offer. When we closed on the house she welcomed us to our new home with balloons and champagne. We couldn't be more grateful to Laura for helping us buy our dream home!! She is also an excellent sellers agent and we will work with her whenever we decide to sell ours. read more

Laura assisted my husband and me in the purchase of our new home. I can be quite picky and the process took us almost an entire year, but Laura continued to send us listings that were thoughtful and consistent with our style. She spent a lot of time contacting sellers and arranging for private viewings to accomodate our busy work schedules. When we finally found the one, Laura made the buying process as painless as it could be. She had excellent suggestions to add to our negotiations and helped us win over the seller in this tough housing market. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking to buy or sell a home! read more

Laura is simply great. She's so kind and professional, and has helped me with all the details of buying a home. It also helps that she has exquisite taste in architecture and you can tell she truly loves what she does for a living. I would add more stars if I could. I'd recommend her to everyone and anyone. Thank you, a Laura! read more

My husband and I met Laura at an open house and immediately knew that she was the one who would help us find our dream home! Her warm demeanor and natural confidence told us she would be a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. We weren't wrong! As first time home-owners, this process would have been completely overwhelming if it weren't for Laura. She understood the type of home we were looking for, and frequently sent us listings that met our criteria and price point. When we were interested in a house, Laura made sure to look at the home with us, and offered her honest opinion. She has a keen eye, and noticed important details about the homes' layout and condition that we would have otherwise missed. When it came time to make an offer, handle inspections, and close escrow, Laura was right there beside us making sure everything was properly handled.    Highly organized and an amazing communicator, Laura often anticipated our needs, sending us detailed information and making sure we were in the loop the entire time. When things became stressful, as they do when buying a home, Laura remained a calming presence. We never once doubted her ability to see us through this process, and are extremely grateful for her excellent negotiating skills, and attention to detail. Even after we closed escrow, Laura has remained in touch, providing us with useful things such as handyman and plumber recommendations. We will be recommending Laura with great enthusiasm to our friends and family! read more

Laura is one in a million and we could not have asked for a better partner in purchasing a dream home in this insane Los Angeles market. We knew exactly what we were looking for, and Laura helped us navigate the entire process with knowledge, honesty, patience, and resilience. When our home finally came on the market, Laura knew instantly that it was the one! (so did we!) She worked tirelessly to ensure that it would become ours. We are proud owners of a gem of a home and we could not be more grateful for Laura's leadership and guidance. We give her the highest recommendation! read more

My husband and I feel so lucky to have found Laura as our real estate agent in Los Angeles, and could not recommend her more highly. She helped us get into escrow quickly on a property we loved in Los Feliz. We were first time buyers and new to the state, so at first we were a little overwhelmed by the tight escrow timeline in California, but luckily we had Laura to hold our hands the entire way! Laura worked so hard for us every single day of the escrow process. She kept in close communication with us at every step, emailing and texting at all hours of the day, was completely on top of the many, many requirements involved, and kept us on schedule. She did all of this with a great attitude, an extremely friendly personality, and without putting any extra stress on us. We enjoyed our hours-long inspection days, in large part because Laura was there to spend time with! We ended up having to back out of our deal due to inspection reasons, but even in the stressful and emotional cancellation process, Laura continued to work just as hard as she always had, despite knowing that she wasn't going to make any commission. She followed up constantly with the seller's agents and made sure that we got our deposit money back, which was a huge relief. Having worked with Laura through all parts of the home buying journey - looking, offers, escrow, and even cancelling - we feel like we got to know her well, and feel very confident in recommending her. We will be sure to use her again when we are ready to get back into the LA housing market. Thank you, Laura! read more

Laura is the real deal! She helped us buy our first home last month. We were looking for a condo on the East Side and she was an amazing resource. Her unceasing patience with first-time home buyers is above and beyond. She shared all of her knowledge, and never hesitated to take the time to explain things to us. (...and we needed a lot of things explained to us!) You won't regret giving her a call. read more

As a first time buyer I highly recommend Laura. She was very patient and thorough in walking me through all the basics of buying a home for the first time as well as helping me deal with all the complexities of a really competitive LA housing market. The search was very hard and Laura helped me keep my eyes on the right kind of property for my goals. Obviously I had a lot of questions throughout the process and Laura always responded promptly to them. That was really important to me as I came in a complete novice to real-estate, she helped me learn a lot. Her negotiating skills are also top notch. She spent a lot of time talking through plans for how to go through the different negotiations. This was very helpful and gave me piece of mind that we would be getting the best property for the best price in the end. Definitely talk to Laura about buying your next house. read more

Working with Laura was a fantastic experience! My wife and I recently began the process of buying our first home and we were referred to Laura by a close friend. Right off the bat, we knew we were in great hands. We both have very busy work schedules, which Laura accommodated graciously every step of the way. Something we really appreciated throughout the process was that we never felt that she was trying to just "sell" us a house. Instead, we could tell she truly had our best interest in mind the entire time, giving us her honest feedback on each and every house we saw. Once getting into escrow, she provided a list of inspectors she had curated over the years (which was awesome!) and guided us through the inspection process with ease. From the moment we met her, until the moment we closed, and even now actually, we've felt that she's had our back the entire time and couldn't be more appreciative of her and the work she did for us! If you're looking for an agent who knows her stuff and who always has your best interest in mind, search no further! read more

This post is LONG overdue because Laura is/was seriously the greatest. We were renting a home in our favorite LA neighborhood that my husband and I were dying to live in. When our lease expired, she made the transition so easy and found us exactly what we were looking for. George, Eileen, and Laura Moreno are an all star team! We had the pleasure of working closely with Laura Moreno on our search to find a home. We immediately knew Laura was the perfect agent for us from day one. Unlike most agents we had met during what felt like an endless search, Laura took the time to really get to know us so she can help find the perfect home for us. She was always honest with us. She even turned down houses we sent to her! She didn't just send us catalogs of open houses, but took the time to curate every single one she sent our way. She always gave an honest assessment of every property we looked at. Most importantly, Laura was so thorough, looked into every property we had an interest in, did her research, and came back with honest feedback. When we finally found our home, Laura guided us through every step of the process. This was so important to us as first time buyers. Laura continues to check in with us today as we are settling into our home. If you are looking for an agent in the Los Angeles area, look no more! This team is fantastic! Thank you Laura! read more
