Okay, so first I went to Zara right across from Laura. It had the absolute worst service, had poor quality clothes and was filthy. I'm honestly surprised it's always over-crowded. I want to point out that I wasn't trying to return clothes or anything like that, I was just trying on clothes and they still managed to leave me feeling insulted. Anyway, while still surprised by the rudeness of the employees there, I ended up going to Laura right after.
I was BLOWN away by the difference in service and quality of clothing (plus it was so clean!) The staff at Laura was ridiculously helpful, sooo sweet, honest, and made me feel actually welcome. (One in particular is so kind, I make sure to ask for her!) It made me happy to spend my money there, and I was used to shopping at cheap fast-fashion stores. I had gotten to the point where I was tired of spending all my money on cheap clothes that would ruin/wouldn't last. I knew what I got at Laura would last, look amazing, and be timeless.
It's a place I never thought I'd go into, but I'm so glad I did because they have really cute pieces! I even found a gorgeous formal red dress (I'm talking a princess gown that was on sale for $50?!) and though it was amazing, she was honest that it was too small on my bust (I'm a 34G/H). I agreed and eventually found a gorgeous light pink suit on sale!
Obviously, I keep going back. It is a bit more expensive, but it is actually worth it so I splurge! Seriously, one of the best shopping experiences ever! Thank you so much, it is really appreciated! read more
