This shop is an absolute gem for anyone into Korean skincare…read more Blooming Cosmetics carries several of my favorite K-beauty brands (including Biodance, Anua, Beauty of Joseon, Medicube, and Mixsoon,) all in one place. It's refreshing to see such a well-curated selection, especially brands that are actually effective and highly regarded rather than just trendy. The store itself is a quaint little shop tucked away off Bellaire, easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but definitely worth seeking out. The employee I interacted with was friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful (not pushy) just knowledgeable and willing to answer questions, which I really appreciate when shopping for skincare. Pricing felt average overall, with a few items leaning slightly higher depending on the product. That said, for the convenience of buying in person, knowing the products are authentic, and being able to get guidance if needed, it's absolutely worth it, especially when you're serious about taking care of your skin and not gambling with questionable online sellers. If you're into K-beauty or looking to upgrade your skincare routine with trusted brands, this is a spot you'll want to keep on your list. I'll definitely be back.

The girl had locked the door, so I knocked and showed her that the closing time is 9:00 PM. After we came in, she rushed us to pick our items. I was standing by the mirror trying some lipsticks to show my mom, and another girl came up with a vacuum and kept hitting our shoes with it. When we tried to pay, she gave us the worst attitude, saying, "Please sign. You don't see that?" She also scoffed at my mom, which was very disrespectful. This was one of the rudest and most unprofessional experiences we've ever had.

When I got there, I was greeted and offered help. The shopping space itself is not very large but is packed with merchandise. I liked the layout and how everything is labeled so if you are a beginner, you won't be overwhelmed or lost. The selection is solid - I wasn't super impressed but they do have some things I haven't seen elsewhere. Like Ben Nye powder in smaller shaker bottles and in a range of colors. I'm excited to try the 2 I bought knowing I didn't spend my whole check trying them out. I also got some facial mask brushes, facial cleansers, lip gloss and aloe vera gel. I'm happy with all my purchases/prices and if I didn't want to wait on shipping for an item, I would definitely return. I think it's a great starter place for someone who's just getting into makeup and doesn't want to break the bank at MAC or the like. It also has a great professional section with stuff I dare not even try! lol WINNER!!!

(I'll let it go lol) They carry a lot of the lower priced items as well as the more professional items. I love their bulk lashes. They have so many styles and they all look good. No doll lashes at all LOL. They will no longer be carrying Morphe products since Morphe is no longer wholesaling, but they are offering Crown Brush which is a comparable brand. The tester items are clearly marked with red tape and are clean. They also offer makeup wipes so you can clean off your tester hand. Go check this place out. You never know what you might find!

Like most retail stores, they go through personnel like water, but I have no clue if it is due to management, school, or whatever. I have usually always had pleasant experiences here and the staff is jolly or at the very least helpful. If you ask someone for help, they're willing to assist and they don't make that covert annoyed face that retail staff are known to make. The staff I've encountered are very knowledgeable about things that I ask them about and even suggest what is comparable to the items. There have been several times I was aggressively loyal to a product and someone on the team introduced me to something else that has now become my staple. Not certain why this location has such poor ratings. I've tested their consistency in helpfulness on plenty occasions and they're pretty solid. (eg. I've entered wearing being very dressed up and full face of makeup, or wearing a bare face and workout clothes, or business suit, or bare face and bummy clothes, or simply looking haggard... There's always someone willing to help)

It's not like they don't have tracking software letting them know that a prescription is about to expire and needs to be refilled. Even worse, their inventory system is absolute trash. Don't waste your time placing an appointment for a flu shot, Covid shot, etc. over here. Just walk in and wait to be seen. You're going to be waiting 20+ minutes either way. Therefore, the quantities are larger than what a person would need for their personal collection of nail products. I was looking for dip powders. They have a ton to choose from, all different brands and colors. Some brands have thermal options, others have glow in the dark. There is definitely something for everyone. Everyone. Most of their inventory is clearly priced, some is not. There are areas that have clearance items. I was looking for smaller containers of dip powder so my options were limited. However, there were so many male utensils and tools and those are sold in individual packages, which was perfect for me. I ended up buying a mix of powders that were on clearance and others that were not but were priced around $4.50 a bottle. The bottles are a little larger than the ones I had. I believe they each hold 2 ounces of powder so they should last me a long time since I only do my nails 1 or 2 times a month and rotate colors. Employees were staying busy but stopped to help when asked. Otherwise, they let you shop in peace.
