Writing this review has been on my mind for quite a while. Now that I have finished reading Laura's new book The Prism it feels like it is finally time to share an honest take on her work and working with her. My first encounter with one of Laura's books was years ago, finding her first one, Practical Intuition, perched on a stack at a thrift book store. Reading that book was like plugging my psyche into an outlet. Electric. Though it took many more years to build up the nerve to move beyond only reading her books, pining over the newsletters, scanning the other Yelp reviews here, and generally just daydreaming, to really try to practice with Laura directly. Signing up for her bootcamp was a someday maybe item on my lifetime Katharine wishlist for too long. Last year I just went for it. If you are considering joining bootcamp my hope is you will have the chance to let yourself have this gift too. It is an extraordinary mind-bending joy. As a bonus the skills she teaches are also extremely effective. A short while after our last session finished Laura released the Prism, her latest book. I was hesitant about it before getting a copy. Could her work be improved on? Was there more to say? Definitely. This book is a gem. Whether you're ready for the next Bootcamp or not, The Prism is a gift of a book too. I may sound like just another fawning fan by now. It's hard to temper your enthusiasm when you discover a guide who can shine light on these kinds of skills. Laura can be a force and she's generous, wise, and encouraging too. In one of the bootcamp session or printed out on paper, her words are still electric truth. I trusted the other good reviews here when I signed up. They are true and here's one more with The Prism! Laura's teachings and her work are as fresh and valuable as ever. read more

Laura Day - The Prism, a gem of a book by Laura Day released in 2025. - Business Consulting Near Me

Just attended Laura Day live on Insta and am reading her book The Prism. I discovered her on youtube last year and find her work authentic, grounded, and truly of the source. I resonate with her words and every time I leave her live circle, I feel aligned and inspired. So grateful she is so generous with her wisdom- a real blessing! Thank you, Laura! read more

It's interesting how Suzanne had exactly my experience. Same in London. Lack of empathy, loads of groupies in attendance who she fed off, shut down questions and was rude to questioners. Yelled at someone for whispering to their buddy. It was 'The Laura Show.' Me, me and a bit more about me.' The sycophantic crowd seemed oblivious to 'When I was on Oprah...' and 'In my book...blah, blah, blah...' and 'My husband this and my husband that...' She loves herself. Obvious grandiose narcissism. She also demeaned and was condescending towards mentally ill people. Really not good. In addition, her workshop was chaotic, badly structured and people didn't know what they were meant to be doing. She has a weak, thin voice but really loves the sound of it. Her brand is all based on marketing and there's nothing behind it to back it up. 'The Prism' is just about chakras. That's all. Nothing new. She has really bad energy. I was hoping to meet a spiritually aware person but she's not it. Her aura was dark. read more

Moments before the healing rave started, my mom called me with news from the doctor. While doing a scan of her liver, they found suspicious nodes in her armpit/breast and what looked like cancer lung. When the doctor was asked how he knew it was cancer. He responded with "how do you know a raccoon isn't a cat, you just do." UPDATE: after a new scan on her breast and under arm, she is completely clear of issues! The scan also showed a decreased in the size of mass in her lung. It shrunk enough to take her measurements from what would be a stage two size to a stage one! AND no other suspicious cancer spots in her body! Thank you for all of your support and helping direct healing towards my mother! In my opinion, these clear scans and reduced sizes in mass are physical proof of the healing work generated in your healing raves! read more

I'm a fan. Period. Have read 2 of Laura's books and often join her Live IG gatherings. Laura is witty, funny, soulful, insightful, accepting and incredibly inspiring. Read her audiobooks! Listening to her voice reading her words is even better! I have not had a chance yet to attend one of her live workshops but I hope to in the near future. Laura, you are a heavenly bright light! I took Laura's Bootcamp in September 2021 and had such a great experience I took it again in February 2022. In addition to honing my intuition, I met (and keep in touch with) excellent healers, intuitives, and just all-round good people. Laura is a demanding teacher; she is also irreverent and wildly funny. If you're on the fence about taking Bootcamp, hop off and go for it. You'll be glad you did. read more

I was introduced to Laura Day's books on intuition, which she refers to as mobile attention and data, over 10 years ago. Her books, Welcome To Your Crisis, Practical Intuition, The Circle, and How To Rule The World From Your Couch (she has two more books, by the way,) have changed my life. I have used my intuition since I was a teen and doing her practical intuitive exercises have helped me hone this innate skill. Laura's abilities have been studied by scientists and she uses and teaches an evidence-based approach. She is a wonderful, funny, no-nonsense New Yorker who makes her living by working with Fortune 500 companies as a Business Intuitive. During this lockdown, Laura has been offering many free workshops and Instagram Live sessions nearly daily, to connect and teach others how to use intuition in their lives. Please check out her books on her website at www.lauraday.com and register to join the events. Laura is also on YouTube, Facebook, plus Instagram and Twitter as @lauradayintuit. Thanks for everything, Laura! read more

Laura is the best. I've read her books Practical Intuition, How to Rule the World from Your Couch, and Welcome to Your Crisis -- and they were all mindblowing and phenomenally useful in different ways. I've taken her Boot Camp program which is an in-depth dive into intuitive skills (also covered in the first two books above) among a community of like minded folks and which also serves as a force for healing and improving your life. And lastly I've participated in her Instagram Live community where she is incredibly generous to provide a regular space for the practice of intuitive skills and healing. Laura's focus is using intuition to make your life better. For someone who is intent on improving their life while also healing themselves, she is an amazing guide and one of a kind. read more

Laura Day is a hidden gem. Follow her on Instagram, and you'll instantly become addicted to how her brilliant mind seamlessly marries science and intuition. She has created her 'circle ' of followers who meet on Insta live many mornings to learn, share, support, challenge, and do intuitive readings on one another. She will teach you that we all have this gift of intuition to some degree but it does take discipline (as does anything in life of any importance and value). Follow her on Instagram, download some of her books. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. A whole new world will open to you. read more

I cannot begin to describe the value of Laura Day's boot camp experience. It was not what I imagined but so much more.

An incredible teacher and Intuit, Laura's work has changed my life. After one in person workshop, i saw immediate improvement in my ability to use my intuition for myself, and for others. Her books are no-nonsense, precise, and very well written for both beginners and advanced students. Please do yourself a favor and follow her on Facebook and Instagram. Laura offers incredible tips on the daily. read more

Unprofessional, un empathetic, has a lot of groupies in attendance and she really focuses on their praise. She was rude and personally insulting rather than communicative. Was annoyed by questions, and made no apologies for the hack and disruption that was of her fault, and no money, apologies, or responsibility was taken for the entire missed end of the paid for course. I left feeling really low, and was never once responded to on my emails. People should not be treated that way. read more

I've followed Laura Day's work for years. I credit her intensive with finally getting me writing properly and finding the instruction and pathway needed to kick off a whole career. I've since been published in The NY Times, Wall St Journal, HuffPost, and many others. Her work changes lives. read more

This book is the only one you will need to develop your intuition. It's the best. You can read other ones if you enjoy the topic, but if you have a limited time, this is it. It's not a theoretical book. You find all the explanations you need in there, but even she wrote in the introduction that if pressed for time you can go direct to the exercises. You need to do those if you are serious about developing your intuition. You also develop extra senses, like sensing the future or if some part of your body needs careful attention. She believes these are senses underdeveloped in the majority of people, but they are evolutionary. They are there to be developed when needed. Laura is an intelligent, caring woman. I am a better me after reading Practical Intuition. Thank you Laura. read more

Laura Day's Practical Intuition book changed my life. I've followed her for years and participated in The Circle with friends. Recently I had the opportunity to study with Laura over the weekend and got far more from the experience than I could've imagined. Instantly my intuition skills were sharpened to the point I was surprising myself. I got connected to a lovely new support system. I can already feel the impact of the healing and recalibration of my energy from the session. Her work is truly a gift.... and what's even better is it's a gift you can have for yourself! read more

I first bought Laura's Practical Intuition book about 10 years ago. She's been an inspiration in my life- as a healer & entrepreneur. I had the good fortune to take her Intuition Boot Camp last weekend. She's an incredible and masterful teacher. The community she's built serves each other in a profound way. Her techniques are simple, solid, and you are able to gain intuitive access into almost any person or situation. I highly recommend studying with Laura. read more

Laura's workshops and books are extremely beneficial and eye-opening. Her book Practical Intuition is a MUST-READ and has very useful exercises. You can learn to do readings for yourself or others. I recall doing the exercise of putting my questions into envelopes and then sealing and selecting them at random while I wrote down anything that came to mind. I got very solid mental images in my mind which were later verified by real experiences and yes I was blown away. Intuition is a gift we all have and are born with. Learn to use it! If you're new to all this, let Laura point the way. read more

Laura Day has been writing books and leading workshops on teaching people to access their innate intuition for decades. She is an incredibly dedicated and genuine teacher who gives her students ample attention and feedback. She truly believes the fact that we are one united consciousness, and it shows in her inclusiveness and natural desire to help and serve as a light worker. Her books are beautifully written and easy to follow; I have all of them. The thing I love the most about Laura and her work is that, despite all of her success, she is incredibly down-to-earth and generous. She really does care about her students and followers. It's so refreshing to be on the receiving end of this as a student. Her desire to truly help us get to where we want to go in life is very apparent. And the way she teaches is natural, fun, and easy to understand! read more

Laura is an incredibly gifted intuitive and also an amazing teacher. Her books are life changing. She gives so much to her students and empowers them with the skills she has. She has created an army of healers. I highly recommend doing anything you can to learn from her - whether Instagram, or her workshops, or reading her books. I just had a seminar with Laura in Mountain View, California and I was impressed to see a teacher who offers generously, having an open soul and mind in the same time.I read her books years ago and keep reading them as they are filled up with knowledge and useful practices.Highly recommend her books and seminars and I look forward to go to her booth camp. read more

I've done workshops with Laura in NYC, Chicago and Esalen. I still work with healers I met in those workshops. Laura attracts an extraordinary group of talented people to her workshops but you will feel comfortable even if it's your first time. She empathizes the transformative energy of the collective - once you are in the circle with her, you benefit from the collective work. My life has transformed since I've used her books and the information from her workshops. Laura is very generous with her offerings. As a teacher, she is smart and funny and gives away all the secrets of how she works. Don't miss an experience to work with her (and Esalen always sells out so book now). read more

I've listened to so many people talk about 'motivation', 'manifesting' and 'goal achievement' that when I got to Laura Day's The Circle, I was pretty cynical. But what's great about this book is that it is truly practical. It doesn't ask you for blind faith that you'll get your wish, it just takes your through the steps to unravel all your resistance to having faith. It doesn't promise magic, it gives-- again-- practical steps and things to do that seem to generate, well, a bit of magic. And what sets her apart as well is that she is constantly doing free events in NY, LA and all over the world to offer support for people working to heal their lives and manifest their dreams. You don't have to pay for some outrageously expensive workshop to benefit from her hands on (literally) meetings. She does have some pay-for events, but she is truly accessible even if your finances aren't healed yet. In person she is inspiring and nurturing and beautiful and hilarious. Surprisingly fun and deeply effective. read more

I have read all of Laura's book over the years and in 2012-I went and did a three day workshop with her at Esalen in Big Sur. It was wonderful! I was amazed at Laura's ability to decipher a situation and give good advise. She is honest and clear and intuitive. Just need to know how to get back in my circle group-as I would've the ongoing support....... Laura is so amazing! I loved how she informed me to trust my intuition! I now do! Laura can teach even the most skeptical to listen to their own intuition which inevitably leads to a happier and more fulfilling life. I have attended both her workshops and have also had readings with. The information I've gleaned from these two things has stayed with me throughout the years because it's clear and it's true. She is truly exceptional. read more

I did the laying of the hands about a month ago. This is ancestral practice, some may say a primitive one. Being skeptical by nature I expect nothing coming out of it. However, since Laura's work, especially 'The Circle' and 'Welcome to your crises,' has been very inspiring and revealing to me, I decided to go and do it anyways. After few days I totally forgot about it, especially because my life, especially my head, my vision, was turn upside-down. For days I was bother and puzzled about many conflicts that came to light out of anywhere. I submerge myself, once again and with no lack of frustration, on a very uncomfortable process which took a time I did not have to waste. Weeks later I reach a place of clarity and I find myself on a vision that is much more aligned with my goals in my present circumstances. Now I remember that what Laura was doing on me was to 'make space', that is what she whispered into my ears during the laying of the hands. Making space is a messy process but having the space is so necessary to grow our new life. I am so grateful to Laura's work and her spirit. Alejandro Gonzalez read more

I first learned of Laura during my divorce while reading "Welcome to Your Crisis" which I have shared with numerous people since. I was thrilled to learn of "The Circle" a few months ago. Getting ready to "do the circle" each morning is like waking up to Christmas each day. I truly look forward to it because the JOY & APPRECIATION it evokes is life changing. While in the circle, I feel as though I am in a safe haven of my own creation....so much so I don't want to leave! If our thoughts become our reality, then "The Circle" is a wonderful tool to take you to your own version of a beautiful reality. Thank you Laura Day. read more

5 stars is not enough stars! I have read Laura Day's books, watched her YouTube videos, and attended her workshops for several years now and can't find the right words to tell you how powerful and meaningful her work is. I need more stars! In all seriousness though she is truly gifted in her abilities, but it's the down to earth, logical and practical way she shares her talents that have made me a fan. I have learned how to tap into my own intuitive abilities and apply them practically to real life, to stay focused on making goals happen, big and small. I love here that she is identified as a life coach because that is exactly what she is! Her abilities and skills have made Laura sought after by the famous and wealthy alike, but she advises and shares with those who don't fall into either of those categories with generosity and integrity. Whether you read her books, or watch the videos (but you should read her books first!) or attend a workshop you will, like I, learn some amazing skills that will truly enhance your life and help you achieve your goals. 5 stars and more for Laura Day! read more

I love her books, especially her last three: The Circle, Welcome To Your Crisis and How To Rule The World From Your Couch and the online resources and community at www.practicalintuition.com. The Circle brings in the life of your dreams. Crisis nips issues in the bud so that you keep progressing. Couch directs your energy in a productive way. These books (and the online community and resources) have been amazing for me. Laura's work has empowered me to change my life and look at problems from different perspectives and examine how what is going on internally manifests itself outwardly. I'm far more advanced in my career, I have stronger friendships, am more creative and am a happier person. I even feel prettier :) Check out her books and her website, they're awesome. read more

I just finished my first Practical Intuition Boot Camp with Laura Day. I have done workshops with her before but this boot camp lives up to the name. It's not a warm and fuzzy everything-is-wonderful workshop but a let's-get-down-and-dirty with our lives and make things right! I absolutely loved it. Laura is one of the most authentic people I have ever met - she calls things as they are and shares her stories in such a way that you immediately feel connected to her. In fact, that's what she is about - the connections that exist whether we know it or not. The connections that are there for us if we allow them. She teaches us to use our collective energy to create change in the most miraculous ways. We are energy but we must learn to use energy effectively if we want to create wonderful things in our world, healing in our world - big and small, profound and seemingly trivial. Laura teaches us the tools and for two days, we practice and practice. And you feel so lucky if she comes and sits with you and your partner and offers her own intuitive reading. In a matter of seconds, she can help you recognize the changes that need to happen and helps make those shifts literally occur. Of course, you must put in your own work and practice diligently. Like anything, the more you put in, the more you get out of it. But in a society where so much is happening to us and for us and around us, it becomes almost mandatory to have intuitive tools to take control of our lives. Laura teaches you those things. I am forever grateful for everything I have learned from Laura Day. read more

Laura Day is AMAZING! I read The Circle and How to Rule the World from your Coach... both fantastic! I can't wait to start Practical Intuition next! I had the good fortune of attending Laura's boot camp this past weekend... what a gift! I have had many readings over the years and in all my interactions with intuitives, I can honestly say that Laura is the real deal! She has so much integrity in her work... it is very rare to find that in business people these days. After personally working with Laura for the weekend, I say she is worth every cent you will pay to work with her! read more

Laura's "Practical Intuition" book set me on a course so unbelievably fascinating, and utterly practical, I hope to never get off. Since then, I've read all her other books, and hope to attend a workshop someday. Far from her work being 'voodoo-ey' and/or incomprehensible, she makes it possible to not only understand 'intuition' but to actually use it, hone it, and achieve amazing personal results. I've studied 'unconscious behavior' with other guru's before, but with Laura, I finally get it. Her writing style is lucid, simple yet elegant-not an easy task in explaining something as abstract as intuition. If you're serious about using your intuition, then read her books, do the work, and see for yourself. read more

Laura's Circle workshops are simply profound. They are proof positive that life can change in a day, in an hour, and with a simple wish. We are reminded that the universe will rise up to support us in reaching our highest potential, and the universe has chosen Laura to help facilitate our wishes. After attending one workshop I felt physically and emotionally better than I have in three years. Pick up The Circle and get yourself to a circle healing. Unless you just want to remain stagnant and unchanged. It's powerful stuff. Thank you, thank you, thank you Laura. read more

The Circle is a step by step method to clear the way and then the tools to create the life you want. Laura Day gives a very methodical scientific approach to changing and shifting what is needed to change and shift in order to open the door to dreams and desires. Her approach is methodical and scientific. The Circle is simple to understand and easy to put into practice on a regular basis. The book invites you to dare to imagine the life you want and then make the inner and outer world connections that help you shift into the new world you want to create. I have been to many circle workshops and can say that these practices, using this book, allow me to continually change with a greater degree of consciousness. Buy this book, use it, and watch your life start to change in ways you may have never imagined. read more
