They look new and fresh. And just being near them makes you feel new and fresh, and hopeful of the future. I love their pay by card system. I recommend putting 20 dollars cash at a time on your Lee Laundry Mall card, because if you put a 20 dollar bill on your card, you get 2 extra dollars free? What value! And it's so clean here. So clean in fact, that as I walked in today there was a lady cleaning the floor. I didnt want to get in her way but WOW! How many laundromats keep their place this clean? It's the cleanest laundromat in town! Love is a precious word that I use very sparingly but I'll say it here. I LOVE the Lee Laundry Mall. The staff is very very nice but they speak limited English and are not able to assist with anything. The dryers are always full of clothes that have finished the cycle. Washing machine #40 accepted payment and then froze. The woman working did not understand what I was saying to her. I also had an extremely uncomfortable situation in which a patron was mad that her stuff was taken out of the dryer after it was done. She was pushing me and grabbing my cart. The staff members said policia but they did not actually call the police. I wanted them to call because the woman was a total nut case. I've seen many dogs in here. They're in the carts and on the folding tables. Very disgusting. I do not recommend this laundromat. It's not managed well.

Though I'm sure the floor and walls of the building are the same since JFK dropped by the long-gone Long Island Area up the street in 1960, the machines have been replaced and you manage your laundry from an app. No more shoving a sawbuck into the change machine for that clang of quarters that momentarily summons the thought that you've won a jackpot and you'll never have to spend another moment in a laundromat again. But then as you drag that lump of soiled wearables over to a machine, you return to reality and your fate. These days I don't need to visit a laundromat unless my own washer is busted, or my dryer is busted, or if I've got so much laundry I just want to get it done quickly, or if I'm cleaning one of those big fat blankets that throw off the balance of my top-loading washer and makes a pounding noise during the final spin that's like Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" only with a less-happier ending. But there are times I need a laundromat, and this place fits the bill. And by "fits" I mean "washes and dries" and by "bill" I mean "textiles." You could drop your crap off, and they'll wash and fold for you. If you're an aristocrat. Which I am not. So I'll just sit on one of the benches and stare into space or stare at my phone or stare at my laptop. At least they have Wi-Fi. The other option is to watch whatever happens to be streaming on the large television. One time it was "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." I started to wonder if any of the Kardashians had ever been to a laundromat, or know what a laundromat is, or have even seen a washer or dryer, or if they even wear anything more than once. What makes the location a little more ideal than the other laundromats in the area is that the strip mall contains a Five Guys and an Izumi hibachi restaurant. Because nothing kills time quicker than slamming a cheeseburger or pounding a mai tai. Or, perhaps, both. Curiously, according to the app, the establishment is called "Honey Bee Laundrette," which sounds kinda quaint, but I don't see any signage (or ambiance) that suggests the species Apis mellifera. In fact, the strip mall sign simply says LAUNDER CENTER, which sounds like something out of "Blade Runner" where your memory gets wiped. On the days I need to go to the laundromat, though, I could use a good memory wipe afterward. THREE STARS

This is not the first time she was rude. It turns out the door to the washer doesn't close properly because of latch which she had to show me. She gave me a "duh" hand motion after she closed the washing machine door.. I politely suggested using a note on the machine explaining how to properly close door and all I got was an eye roll and she walked away. Great location there but wont be going back, there's plenty other laundry mats in the area.

Their website says that their female fit models are between 5'7" and 5'10". That is average height to AEO but slightly too long for me. So I took the pants to Dutchgirl Cleaners, which has a fitting room where I tried them on. Seo, the tailor, pinned the extra fabric up until the hem touched my flat shoes. I usually wear flats and wore the shoes that I planned to wear with the pants. Then he folded the pants in and out and drew a straight line where the new hem should go. Now my pants fit perfectly. The service took in five business days because he used a sewing machine to make the alterations, and there were many customers ahead of me. Drew, the manager, who charged me $15 a pair. I had to pay in full before the tailoring was done (see photo below). The price though is reasonable for Suffolk County.

I've came to this dry cleaners many times these past several years and I never had an issue until…read morerecently. I dropped off my suits here and was given a price of around $70.00 for pick up. When I came for my pick up, I was given the price of close to $100.00! I gave them my ticket which showed around $70.00 being charged but I was told the math was done wrong and I was to pay the new amount. What if I didn't have the money they originally told me? Would they have kept my suits?? I paid it off and will not be going back there again. If you ask me, the proper thing for them to have done is kept the bill on the original ticket. The only thing I should be expected to do is drop off my wardrobe and pick them up for the price I was told AND given on the day of my drop off.
