Why are my clothes not here when i come to pick up after drop off? Someone is STEALING

This laundromat is very clean and spacious which I love. I usually come early in the day and always have a pleasant experience from the staff as well as patrons. However, coming to this place on a Saturday night was the worst decision. The night employee was very unprofessional. She kept yelling an announcement to everyone, "you must pick up your dryer sheets if they fall on the floor!!!" as if we are children. Upon arrival, as I separated my clothes, she told me I could not do it there... When a customer needed attendance, she would yell across the laundromat. Very unprofessional person and really discredits the establishment. If she does not want to work, she she should find a more suitable job. read more

This is a very big location, comfortable and clean. The workers are friendly. All machines work and are clean. Bathrooms are clean. Think they need a few more seats. Overall my family is happy with this location and would recommend it. read more

Ok I go to this laundry establishment all the time, I mistakenly left a shoe there cleaned washed on a folding table. Realized it the next day I left it. Called and was told no such show is there. First off the person did t check cause they was still in the phone 2nd it's not even 12hrs later and they tossed a single shoe out... common sense would tell you that the owner will be looking for it .. this place has lazy people who don't want to do their job and shows you there annoyed helping you. They mop wipe or sweep what ever order they do it it's the easiest job in the world... customer service is awful and about the lost and found it's a laundry you don't throw clothes immediately out you give a certain amount of time before doing so. read more

Good location. Clean with clean machines. The clerk was working so hard at cleaning the place... I didn't need to watch the tv... she was the entertainment... Be careful though of the service Bell at the counter.. it's a doosey!! read more

Very modern and clean laundromat. It is 96° outside and the air conditioning is on, where other laundromats I have been to open their front and back doors and use fans, not offering any relief. This laundromat uses a card similar to a prepaid debit card for the machines, getting rid of the hassle of lugging around quarters. They even give you a $2 bonus for every $20 spent. The prices are reasonable. The staff is attentive, professional and helpful. They have more than one or two super large washing machines, where most places I have been have 2 and 1 works. The building is open with plenty of room to fold your laundry. The patrons here actually get along. No cranky people here because of a bad washing experience. They also have free Wi-Fi. I recommend Laundry Depot. Laundry is a chore no-one enjoys, and they make it a little less painful. Thank you. read more

I just had these worse experience ever at this laundry mat! The staff whom is an older woman was extremely rude and very unprofessional!!! I arrived at the laundry mat around 7:45pm on Saturday night and immediately upon entering this establishment the older woman approached me and told me I could ONLY use the left side of the laundry room for the two biggest machines, all other machines were off limits because SHE didn't want anyone to use them! Why you ask??? Because she stated SHE wanted to leave early because she was tired and didn't want anyone to mess up that side of the laundry mat! I proceeded to comply only to realize that allllllllllllllll the other machines on the right side of the laundry mat were taken. She then said to me very sarcastically "are you going to stay her and help me clean up? I have a family to go home to as well! It's raining and I want to be in my bed" Yes the employee said all of that to a paying customer!!! I then replied saying "you will not leave any sooner if I have to wait for machines, I have a lot of clothes to wash." She then sucked her teeth and said fine go ahead! However, it doesn't stop there, she continued to harrass me by hovering over me and monitoring me because she also told me not to make a mess. I am a 35 year old woman, I am not a child!!!! Everyone that came in immediately after me around 8:30pm-9pm were told not to use the left side of the laundry mat. However a pregnant woman came in and the employee did the same thing to her and it escalated to the point where the POLICE had to be called. The employee got into a screaming match with the pregnant woman and physically blocked the pregnant woman from using the machines! Totally unacceptable 3 police officers showed up as the employee was yelling out "I don't care who you call! You don't sign my paychecks! What happened to customer service?????? I've been a loyal customer at The Laundry Depot, however tonights service was unacceptable and I will not pay money to not be appreciated and harassed by staff!!!! read more

Do not use these places to wash your cloths. The customer service is horrendous. If anything goes wrong with your wash they will not help you nor will they make an attempt too. From a forever absent owner, to employees who always have bad attitudes. Too many times have I asked for help and had a employee huff and puff or role there eyes. This is the last time I give these places anymore money. The one in hillside nj on route 22 is the worse of them. With the workers unable to and not wanting to do anything, to help there clients, I find myself wondering the purpose of them even being there. I would get more empathy from a robot. read more

I go there regularly and within the past few months a lot has changed.. The employees are very rude. And ignore you! (One guy was on his phone and rolled his eyes at me when I asked for a plastic bag, and continued with his conversation on the phone.) One older lady who works there always smells like Booze and has a very grumpy attitude.She yelled at my son today and that was the icing on the cake! I work in customer service so, I know a simple "can I help you" goes a long way. Anyway, I'll be returning back to the old coin laundromat. I went there to do my laundry I told the attendant there was someone parked. In handicap that was not handicap. And I was handicap and needed the. Spot he said so what it's my car. I had to inform him either he willing move his car or I call the cops and he gets a 250 dollar fine the attendants there are very rude . read more

I have been using laundry depot since the opening of Newark location, I ve used the irvington location maybe twice, but has been a Hillside parton from their opening. That's to say i like the area, the facility, and the employees. We have limitations due to covid19 and i agree with all so far. Today 4/26/20 is raining and the two side entrances are locked leaving only one entry...so today i must either block entrance to get clothes in facility dry or bring them in wet. When asked the attendant on duty i was told she has to lock doors in order to count people; if she worked the facility and not stand in obe place to count people ib would flow alot better. Don't think I'll ever come back ob a Saturday ane wouldn't recommend anyone else to, one person can make an otherwise excellent establishment look bad. read more
