Listen - laundry is pricey anywhere you go. If we take out the cost of the actual load of clothes, this place is the best laundromat facility I've used. The customer service is friendly and attentive. They watch over the place and I never feel worried to leave my items unattended (looking at you Muncie circa 14') The amount of washers and dryers is astounding. Normally you have to wait at a location, but we never have had to. Many are the larger industrial size too! Vending machines and cleans bathrooms are available as well. read more

I give this place 4-Stars for well maintained/new machines and cleanliness of the wash and dry area. I give them a 1-Star on the the dirty bathroom, paper on the floor, stained sink and and maybe average toilet cleanliness. Mr/Ms Manager, the bathroom in any public facility are the most important places (as I'm sure you know) in any facility. The cleanliness, especially in this time of the pandemic, are of absolute paramount importance to your customer(s). This customer was very disappointed and I know you can do better. Your other areas in the facility are in immaculate condition so why not your bathroom? Future customers if you don't need to use the bathroom facilities here, I certainly recommend this place for clean well maintained equipment and large customer capacity. Check the bathroom upon your arrival to see if you need to alert the manager that it needs attention. You have lots of choices in this Indianapolis area for using laundry facilities and in a competitive market such as this, you should shop around to ensure you are spending you money in a fully well maintained (emphasis on bathroom) facility. I look forward to seeing improvements in this facility for my next visit, as I could have used the Laundrymat directly across the street, but chose Laundry & Tan instead. read more

This is a great place. The attendants are always on top of it - cleaning the place, helping when the machines don't work (not an often occurrence), washing rugs, and even holding the door open for you if they're nearby. I don't tan here but I do encourage folks to do laundry here. The prices are fair. $2 or so for washing, and a variety of dryers (regular and hyper large ones. The place is very well lit. It can be busy (depending on the time) but it can also be dead. Since its open 24 hours, there are lots of opportunities to get laundry done. There are also televisions around; a lot of times I've seen TNT on, but overall its a variety of channels. There's also a game room with some arcade games but they can steal your quarters sometimes. But tell the attendant and they'll help you. I only wish for 3 things: 1. Wifi. This is advertised but the signal is so weak I don't even bother trying. sigh. 2. Automatic doors! Come on, friends. We are bringing giant laundry bags in. Give us automatic doors. 3. There needs to be a ramp to help folks with disabilities and elderly folks use carts to get their laundry read more

Your Southside Laundry and Tan Connection is wonderful. CLEAN! There was an associate cleaning the washers (the detergent flaps and inside the drums) after every use! This location is 24 hours and well worth the drive for a terrific laundromat...who knows, maybe I will even start tanning again, too! Btw...sorry for the TMI, but the restrooms are CLEAN! South Madison location, you got it going ON! read more

Staff is very pleasant the place is very clean and will return to do my laundry here Best place to do your laundry and open 24 hours which really works for everyone read more

Quick service. Dropped off at 10ish was done by 1pm! Great service... beats me sitting in the laundromat doing it for a few hours when I didn't need to!Laundry was washed and folded great! Can't beat $1.25 a pound!! And if I wanted I could have tanned while I waited! Not a bad deal! read more

The laundromat is clean. I do like that. Sometimes it gets busy which is expected. Almost all the employees are very nice and very helpful. There's only one that is very rude to people and very disrespectful to people. She's very loud and she's even disrespectful to the other employees, I've encountered this lady more than once at this location on Georgetown Road, why they would let someone who disrespects the customers and the employees it's beyond me. The other employees will apologize for her, but she should be the one that should apologize. I will go to this place again as long as that person is not there. She is just too loud and disrespectful. read more

I miss the coffee it was great. Staff are friendly. The negative is that it is starting to become filthy. The tables are visibly dirty and both of the washers that I used had hair all over them. The time before that I didn't check the dryers and I ended up with dread locks fused into my clothing. I even got my clothes stolen from the dryer when I just walked two stores down to General Dollar. The staff told me it was a Burmese family that took my clothes from the dryer yet they couldn't show me footage from cameras. read more

I just wanted to let the public know how wonderful laundry and tan connection is. I go there to do my laundry just my large bedding but the manager there I believe her name is Cathy she is so kind and nice to talk with if I need anything she is right there helping. I have been to so many laundry places but this is the place I will stay at forever (as long as that manager is there). It's so hard these days to come across people who actually care most people just want to sell something. I own my own business and I am a firm believer if you are good to people you will triple or quadruple income. If that manager stays there they will see how much she makes that company! I normally do not write reviews, but I wanted to write this one because of my background and I wanted the owner to know how good the manger is. I know they say everyone is replaceable, but she is definitely not. I look forward to going there and doing my laundry. If she ever left I would follow her. I wish she would work for me, but she is so dedicated to laundry and tan and I admire her for that. read more

Laundry & Tan Connection - Free WiFi - Tanning Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

I have been using this laundromat for years once a week and must say it is the cleanest and least costly place to do your clothing on the south side of Indy! This place is clean, very concerned about our health and the staff is friendly and very kind and helpful. read more

Very nice laundromat.. Needed to wash blankets today and the size of the seed queen are great. The cost is $6.50 and you can use your credit card to swipe. Very spacious with a lot of room and washers and dryers. Looks like there is coffee being served and there's a ATM for the coin machine. Tanning is also available if you're into that kind of thing. Looks clean. Will definitely come back to wash my household blankets. read more

This place is trash. The workers are all high and don't care about anything! Honestly I don't know how this place is still open. This place is pure trash and needs to be shut down. The tanning beds are like 10 years old and the spray tan machines suck!! You'd be better off going to sun tan city atleast they actually sanitize instead of getting high in the back. read more

24hr laundry with tons of washers and dryers that work well and are always clean. First time trying this one out. I have no complaints other than cost for washes. read more

I used to work for Laundry &Tan Connection, On 10th& Shadeland,The Tanning Beds was Awesome, And The Bulbs were Changed Frequently! I Then Moved To The SouthSide, &Continued, Tanning At The Location On Stop 11& Madison Ave! The Difference Is Astonishing. The Bulbs Are Never Changed,Literally it's such a Huge Deal, When He Just Changes A Few, It's Like A Big Secret,Because Everyone Just Wants What Their Paying For "A Tan"! Seriously I Absolutely Love The Manager&Staff However Im Sad To Say It Because,I Feel Like Family There, But If I'm Paying To Tan, I Want To Look Like I,Actually Have A Tan! So I Will Be Taking My Business Elsewhere! I Actually Tried Several Times And Even Ask, Why Don't These Bulbs "Ever" Get Changed? I Was Told To Try Yelp read more

It's close to my home and they have large machines so of course I go there instead of at my apartment. I pay with my card on both queen sized washers and it says the total is 4.50$ so 9$ is all I should have conveniently payed for my washing. Only to find 10$ charged each swipe. Ever payed 20$ to wash 2 loads of laundry?! I have now 3 times. ( thought the first time must've been my fault) so if you're someone who doesn't like to throw away money and be outrageously over charged, well then you just better pay your bank and atm fees at the machine or keep 15$ in quarters on you at your own terms. Thought I'd let people know since it's really set me up for some trouble. The place is clean & the attendants are nice. This isn't their fault. read more

I just stopped here and the only attendant is asleep in one of the tanning beds. Needless to say I left. This is so unfortunate because I have always loved this chain and have never had a problem like this with one of their 24 hour locations. I have called the phone, paged the number (as instructed at the desk per a small sticky note) and done everything aside from physically waking the man up, which I'm not comfortable with. So disappointed as this is the closest place to my home. read more
