But, not so late that they weren't eager to still groom my dog. However, they insisted on charging me a $41.00 late fee. + their grooming price. Rude and condescending doesn't work for me, so I left despite having traveled all over Kernersville to honor the appointment. I've been in enough abusive relationships not to pay to begin another. It was as if I was standing at an airline counter dealing with these women. They had the chance to land a loyal pet lover (and a great tipper), but they must have enough of those. If you like being abused this is the place for you.

My pup's first and last visit to this groomer…read more I asked for an inch off of my dogs coat... they took four inches off. Her coat is incredibly uneven - it looks like someone just went in with kitchen scissors. But that isn't the most disappointing part. When I went to pick up my lively, energetic puppy, she was cowering. I brought her home and she was limping with one leg. My pup is never going back here - vet's orders!

I called ahead to make a reservation (though for day care, drop off service is welcomed). I gave them my info and the info about my pup. When I arrived the next day to drop him off I reached for my bet records, the owner advised that had already called the vet & received a copy of his records (I LOVE proactive people!)! Hazard, my yorkiepoo, had a great first day. He was exhausted! The next two days were the same - happy and exhausted puppy. They have cameras, but also post photos and videos to Facebook throughout the day. It was great to check up on Hazard when I could throughout the day. The owner is very nice, you can tell she has a genuine love for dogs. I will definitely be bringing him back!

Never had any problems in the 8 years my dog's been boarding there, until last week. I picked up my…read moredog like usual and they had nothing to report. When I got home I noticed his ear was injured and called immediately to ask about it. Was told at first they knew nothing about it but was put on hold to check with other staff. They came back on the line and told me that someone did notice the day before I picked him up but thought it was an ear infection. Failing to tell when it was noticed or when I collected him was concerning. Even more concerning is that ear infections are usually on the inside of the ear not the back side protruding inward. Looking further you could tell there were puncture wounds and what looked like bite wounds. I asked if he had been in a fight and they said they were unsure but would make a note to have the owner look at the camera footage and call me back. I have called back several times and every time the person acts surprised and "makes a note" for the owner to call me. It's now been a vet visit, 6 pills a day, several calls some with no answer (during normal business hours), and 6 days later with no response from the owner. I totally understand sometimes things can happen outside of your control, they're animals after all. I just wanted to know what happened and how. Some sort of dialog would have been nice. I have spoke this business up, my mother-in-law started boarding her dogs here cause of me. Needless to say, they lost my business which probably wouldn't have been the case if we had spoken when this happened. Which by the way I found out from another employee happened 4 days before I picked him up. They were aware of another dog having to be broken up and separated from mine for the rest their stay.

I am sad to say I will not be returning to Paws on Cherry. I have been taking our Aussie here for…read moreseveral months since we moved to the area. They have always done a nice job. However , since I started here it seems they have a turnover in help and now seem to clearly be understaffed. I was told to drop him off at 8:00 am. He was there for over 6 hours before I was called to pick him up. I was very unhappy and told her this was unacceptable. I had told the owner from the beginning I did not want him kept crated more than needed. If they are taking so many dogs that it takes them this long to get them complete, they clearly should be timing the drop offs so they are not having to crate them over this long of a period. I have never had my dogs in groomers more than 3 1/2-4 hours tops! Her answer was that there were only 2 of them working that day. Clearly they had more than they could handle in a timely manner. I would have preferred to be called and told they were shorthanded and I would have gladly rescheduled. Also I tried numerous times to call when time was ticking by, and they had no one to answer the call. Sorry to say, I feel their business practices have much to be worked out. If time is not a problem for you or your pet, then maybe this is the place for you.

When my husband tried to set up an appointment, the person on the phone 1, had an attitude and 2, told us it would be an extra $25 for us to stay there while our dogs were groomed. We tried to explain that one of my dogs is a previous owner surrender and has a fear of abandonment, but they didn't care and weren't hearing us out. If that's their attitude towards my dog's needs, then I don't want to do business with them. I love my dogs too much to force them in a scary situation and just leave. I need someone willing to go out of their way to make sure my dogs needs are met.

I got a hold of jeeps and pups and got an appointment right away, I had no problems going and everybody was super sweet and the immaculate. It was probably the cleanest grooming shot that I had ever come across and organized and it was very well put together. They were very attentive to Daisy and her medical needs they were aware they called me a few times just to clarify on things instead of just assuming which I really did appreciate andlook at her I can't even believe that was a 15 year-old dog I mean she just looks gorgeous. Definitely recommend them.
