If I could give this place 0 starts I would These people are…read moreracist, nasty, mean, passive aggressive, unreasonable and don't seem to understand the concept of upholding to their business hours. I will start of by highlighting two things, 1. I only use the dryers at the laundromat and 2. I unfortunately only have the evenings to use the laundromat. I arrived at the Laundromat with three loads of laundry to dry. I arrived just before 6:00 pm All 3 loads were put into 3 separate dryers for about 30 - 35 minutes and in that time I would rush home to get one last load I had in the washer. I confirmed with the attended that the laundromat closed at 8:00 pm and she was extremely rude and presumptuous in her reply. I told the attendant I would be back to fold up my clothes long before closing time. I rushed home but unfortunately the cycle to my washer was taking long. By the time I got back to the laundromat it was 7:07 pm exactly. When I walked through the door with the attendant started to yell at me and threatened me. She was upset because I had one last load of laundry to dry. I asked her, 'do they close at 8:00?" and she said yes, so I said "then I have more than enough time to dry this last load while I am folding up the first 3". She threatened me again and I dared her to try to do anything to me or my things and I would be calling the police. This location is opened until 8:00 pm and every time I go to this location the ladies are nasty and passive aggressive in their behavior towards the patrons. I understand the rule of not starting a WASH after 7:00 pm but I was only drying my clothes. And the sign on the door clearly states "Last WASH by 7:00 PM". It does not say last dry and I pointed this out to the attendant who then tried to tell me that my understanding of the sign was wrong. So there I was drying my last load and folding up the first 3 I put in earlier. The attended called the owner Bob who I could clearly hear tell the attendant that the last WASH is at 7:00 pm but the dryers are still in use. Her reply to Bob, was "Oh I was not aware of this"...YES THEY ARE. But instead of Bob upholding to that, he asked to speak with me and began threatening me & telling me I better be out of his establishment by 7:45. I told him I would be out when my last load is done dying. I told them both, I am aware that they close at 8:00 pm and that I will certainly be out before then. Bob then proceeds to tell me that the ladies need to clean up and that is why they want people out of there early. HEY BOB HERE IS A TIP. IF THE LADIES WANT TO BE OUT BY 8:00 THEN CLOSE YOUR LAUDROMAT AT 7:30 AND GIVE THEM THE 30 MINTUES TO CLEAN UP. PAY THEM UNTIL 8:00 AND STOP SHORT CHANGING THEM, SO THAT THEY ARE NOT GIVING THE PATRONS WHO USE YOUR ESTABLISHMENT A HARD TIME. I finished folding the first 3 loads at 7:33 pm. With the last load in the dryer, I was taking a few items out at a time and kept the dryer going to dry the heavier items. As I was doing this, a Fair-skinned couple walks in. I stopped dead in my tracks and asked them if they still had things to pick up. They had 3 huge loads of laundry drying in the dryers on the other wall. The attendant then says to me that she made arrangements for them to come in just before closing hours and that I should have done the same. My reply to her was "that is the point, if you had arrangements with them then why are you giving me a hard time when I am only using the dryers for 30 minutes and your closing hours are at 8:00 pm?, you knew you had people that were coming back and you gave me a hard time for no reason." We had a back and fourth exchange, I called her a racist. She then proceeds to tell me she is not a racist because the woman she allowed to use the laundromat the night before came in at 7:10 pm and she was black. Only a racist would say such a stupid thing like this. Bob, if your establishment is opened until 8:00pm, people have a right to use the dryers up until then. If you want people out earlier, then close earlier. By the way, I was out of there by 7:41 pm

This time I was told that we have to wait in our car while our laundry was in the wash because only one person per house hold. While I was showing the zipper to the man he asked me if anyone has ever told me that I'm stunning. I ignored his comment and kept talking about the zipper. He informed me that the lady who does those repairs would not be in until 5 but we could fill out the paperwork. Then, to my surprise, he said "ouuu, I wish I could just bend you over right now..." I didn't say anything because I was so shocked and embarrassed and I just wanted to leave. He asked me to leave my name and number so the lady could get back to me, I left a fake number only because I wasn't sure if he would take it for his own personal use since he was so bold to say what he said and I grabbed my jacket and left. I will never step foot in this establishment ever again and I don't even want to walk past the door that's how uncomfortable he made me feel. That is sexual harassment and it should not be taken lightly.

Its been one of the tenants in the building since that section of the plaza was built. Its a pretty clean, owner-operated Laundromat, with lots of newer equipment, including large capacity washing machines. I like how they have machines to make change, and an on-site ABM. Having moved back to the GTA after working in Quebec, one of the big surprises I experienced was the cost of doing coin laundry. In Quebec it cost me $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry. Here its costing me $5.00 to wash and $5.00 to dry. Last night I spent $20 washing and drying two loads of towels. Their driers are electric, I think that the gas ones are capable of drying faster They also have a wash and fold service, which is charged by weight. I weighed my towels upon going home and discovered that it would have been cheaper for me to pay them the $15 min charge to wash all of my towels Service level, site, location, and staff are all a-ok. Its the price why I'm pushing this to 3 stars.
