For those of us who have pets that need to be groomed often, it is very important to find someone who will treat your pet respectfully and not cause any trauma! I am very happy she finally has her own place to groom as we have followed her to some "not so great places" where she was grooming....mostly places that were not clean. We have a white standard poodle who is eight now and have been to many groomers in the Charlottesville area as well as even taking our poodle out of town to be groomed. I truly believe Samantha is by far the best groomer in this area and Baci and I wish her much success!

Samantha at Pawville did a fabulous job grooming my miniature poodle today…read more My little guy is disabled and does not have the use of his hind legs. This means that many groomers are not willing to take him on since he can't stand on his own. But he's used to being groomed and the groomer where I used to live always told me that he was sweet and well-behaved. Samantha was just wonderful with him today. I was very nervous because of terrible experiences with other groomers in the area that I had tried. But Samantha was very patient and listened attentively to all my concerns. She was ready to take him when I walked in and he was ready to go at the exact time she told me he would be ready. Pricing was in line with what other's have charged. Pawville's new location at 3048 C Berkmar Dr. is super clean and is in a great, easy to reach location. So happy that I finally found a groomer I feel I can trust. Thank you, Samantha!

My husband and I boarded our Italian Greyhound here while visiting Charlottesville, VA. Italian…read moreGreyhounds are generally timid, sensitive dogs and we rarely board our dog so I was a little nervous about dropping him off for the day. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They figured out which dogs he placed best with and when we picked him up we found him in the grooming area where he could be around staff. He seemed very content there and I have no doubt he was cared for well. In reading other reviews, sure the place does smell like dogs are there but I could care less. What do you care about more...your dog being well cared for or the dog smell? I think it is an unrealistic expectation to hope that a dog boarding facility won't have a dog smell. I highly doubt the dogs mind. Great overall experience and very thankful my husband found this place.
