Hello Future Student,…read more I am truly grateful and completely fortunate to have been a part of the beautiful experience that South Denver School of Nursing Arts provides for all students. I have always known that I wanted to be in the medical field; although, I had been missing personal confidence my entire life. This school has given me so much confidence that I can barely recognize myself. First, I would like to thank Whitney for always being there every single time I called for help through the enrollment process, untill the day I collected my certificate. I honestly can't express my appreciation enough. Whitney is the complete definitions of empathy, kindness, fantastic work ethic, and professionalism. I have never met a more inspirational woman in my life who believes in all of her students more than they even can articulate. Second, I would like to thank Joy for being the greatest instructor I have ever had. I can't imagine passing this class without her. The heartwarming experiences she has shared during class will be forever be held in our hearts, and memories as lessons understood. Joy is a beautiful soul here to truly help others. Joy never fails and insures high standards are set for all her students. Which will navigate them in the right direction, so they can succeed in life. She is a wonderful nurse and I hope to be like her one day. Lastly, I would like to thank my classmates for being so respectful, kind and supportive. Without you I wouldn't believe in myself as I do today, so thank you! Please If you are reading this and considering becoming a student at SDSNA. Take the step forward, because It will be the best decision you will ever make for your future. Thank you South Denver School of Nursing Arts and staff, -Jackie

My teacher (who I highly recommend) managed to condense everything I've ever been taught, struggled with or read about how to be a writer into four, two-hour sessions. She is extremely talented and offered great insight. The price of the classes are reasonable, even cheaper if you have a membership. They have a variety, such as writing a memoir, learning how to sell a book, writing poetry and also how to write great fiction scenes. I was looking for a great community of writers, and I think I found it. Plus, the Ferril House is very well maintained and a source of inspiration itself.

She has the insight, experience and knowledge of what needs to be worked on to heal from wounds, especially from childhood. I cannot rave enough about Paula Robbins! There's something so magical about her and her approach…read more I love her maternal demeanor which makes me feel relaxed, safe and inspired. I have seen Paula 1 time in the last few years- yes you read that correctly- 1 time. And my life has changed dramatically with this 1 session. She gave me suggestions and homework - which I did 100%. I have since created the abundance I so desperately needed and I have passed along her suggestions to friends/family which has also helped them- but that's just as sliver compared to experiencing her in a private session. I am already planning my next session with her now that I am heading into the next chapter :)

I know. Choosing a preschool is stressful, and the UPK system is a great benefit that is also…read moredifficult to navigate. We are so glad that our oldest got to go to preschool at CLP. Pam really helped us understand the UPK program. The school has separate rooms for multiple age groups. Ours was in Bloomers. Ms. Ciara, Ms. Karina, and all of the other teachers really help the Pre-K group get ready for kindergarten. They have centers, movement, circle time (reading), show-and-tell, and outside time pretty much every day. They have very clean classrooms. Each of the students receives enough but not too much attention in order to encourage socialization, problem solving, and independence. The one area that some may find lacking is the playground. CLP doesn't have a huge, elaborate play structure like some preschools. While this may deter some, I think it has some benefits because a) your kids are not really going to remember the playground so much as their friends and b) they'll be much more creative in how they play with their friends. Finally, the check-in and message system they use is great. Check-in Is easily completed by scanning a QR code and you can assign others for pickup. The teachers post class and/or individual updates almost every day so that you can see a little bit of what they're learning and doing. They're also very responsive to messages that parents send through the app.
