The wait times are very, VERY long; I have had to wait to see someone for more than three hours. However, they will see both myself and my babies at the same time if I need them to. Also, they will let me bring up more than one concern at a time, i.e., a complaint like an illness or injury and an unrelated prescription refill. Some clinics make you come back another time for the second concern. Also, both Dr. Demian and Dr. Rezazeda are attentive and thorough. I have never felt dismissed or overlooked by either of them. So long wait times mean you also aren't rushed through your visit! I'm taking a star off for the cramped, overheated and dingy exam rooms.

The entire time I was in the exam room, she was on looking at her phone. Since she didn't once look at my chart I figured that she was using a medical app (seen something like it on TV and thought it was cool, new technology). Went to fill my prescription and found out she wrote out the wrong prescription. Had to go back to get the correct medication, mentioned my experience to the receptionist - turns out, no they do not use medical apps, this 'doctor' is known for being on her phone all the time. When I saw the doctor told him - his reaction, he laughed. Seriously, prescribing the wrong medication is funny??? I mean, good thing I don't have a heart condition or something more critical. There's a time and a place to view your phone, but when you're a doctor and you're with a patient - THE EXAM ROOM IS NOT THAT PLACE!!!

I'm assuming you would like to put my name down at least and get my medicard?" She looks at me with a snarl that is so not becoming on any woman and said " WELL- obviously I'm very busy at the moment, I thought you were someone else" No apology for the nasty attitude whatsoever. This nasty ass blonde needs to take some classes on compassion and manners. Being an MOA myself, I know that this type of behavior and attitude is so disgusting, especially when working within the healthcare industry. People are coming to be seen because they are SICK and do not deserve to be treated like they are of no concern. I ended up not staying because of her horrible attitude and went elsewhere - GLADLY. Also, kind of a junky, cluttered clinic with outdated paper charts wall to wall. Time to upgrade to EMR people! Its 2014!

Check their website for the full gamut! From what I could tell, it's a really small clinic with only a few rooms (if that). My nurse was really nice and comforting, and narrated everything she was doing. Checking in was quick, and the appointment was quick. Not a single delay--I was in and out in maybe 10 minutes. They only have two parking spots located at the back. Remember your license number so they can register your car. You'll need to walk around to enter the building. Signage is small--look out for a non-descript door with a paper sign noting "Embrace Clinic." Number one con is it's really hard getting an appointment here for a pap test!

You can get your doc on the phone or email quicker than what is typical of the msp 2. These health care providers spend way more time with you 3. Same day appointments and they are usually on time 4. Need a prescription fast? No problem here. Plus they have the lab to do your bloodwork etc if you need. 5. You don't have to wait in a common room with riffraff. The lobby area is nice, quiet and serene. There are snacks and filtered water for you. Things aren't perfect though.... In my experience some of the health care providers can have a poor bedside manner, or might not be the right fit or they might not be as smart as you are...but then again they do have the experience. And, imo it's not as "proactive" a health care service as they claim. Questions like, why would a physician want to work at Copeman conjurs up thoughts of social/status climbing and the shallow like. But, I think most docs become docs for the $$$ and status anyway. Finding a physician anywhere in North America who is actually interested in medicine is like winning the lottery. In the end, you're paying for convenience and extra time with your doc. That's good enough for me.
To describe my personal experience I'll begin at the end with the thing I took away from the…read moreexperience, in three simple words; peace of mind. Not knowing such a thing even existed before I met Suzanne Sutherland I have to say I was almost skeptical about breast Thermography. I'm sure this is not an unusual starting point. But I then allowed myself to be open to this experience and soon realized it's potential. I think every woman will have a very individual experience with this, depending on her breast health awareness and medical history. Right upon entry to Suzanne's home and clinic, I observed the consideration she put into the welcoming and comfort of her clients. The gentle aromatherapy of Lavender, the velvety curtains separating her living space from her work space and her generally comforting personality all worked together to relax me. In the room where the Thermography takes place, you sit and cool down and she explains how the camera takes the images, and the monitor shows the temperature (in amazing detail) of your body. A series of images is taken at specific angles. The images are later sent to a specialist who then analyzes them with the use of charts and numbers and then sends the results back to Suzanne who in turn shares them with the clients. Each woman can decide for herself what steps to take regarding the results which she can later discuss with her doctor. The beauty of Breast Thermography is in the simplicity of it. Health and wellness are something we can all affect in our own ways every day and with education and awareness. Breast Thermography gives us a way of monitoring our individual health from a preventative perspective or at least offers an alternative monitoring method that is at the very least low impact and painless.

My medical history has become very complicated and I was worried that no doctor would want to take on my case. From the moment I entered their practice I felt an incredible calm wash over me. Calming music fills the waiting area. The front desk staff are absolutely lovely and always pleasant. There is no room full of people waiting to be seen because the appts. are scheduled to ten minutes each. This is a win/win for both patients being seen on time and for the doctors not stressed out because numerous patients are waiting! As for Dr. Melissa Ng she was so welcoming. Upon meeting her, I felt a huge sigh of relief that I was finally in competent hands. She immediately questioned whether I had my pneumonia and shingles vaccinations and sent off a prescription to my local pharmacy. Dr. Ng followed through on test requests that were supposed to have been ordered and had not been. She is sharp as a tack yet totally empathetic and non-judgemental. We are systematically going through my medical issues and I feel that I have my health back under control. Dr. Melissa Ng is my miracle.
