But overall, its not bad. The older Dr. Lee rarely comes in and now its his son who is the main doctor here. Also, its a good thing that this doctor is young. So I don't have to worry about him retiring any time soon.

Definitely giving Dr. Lee a "0 star" rating on Yelp if I could. Yesterday, my mom and I took my grandma to see Dr. Lee. We had to wait 1.5 hours, including 10-15 minutes in the patient room (though my grandma did come into the office 15 minutes late) just for a 10-minute meeting with him. I heard from my mom that her friends have to wait 2 hours. That is just ridiculous. Shortly after my mom and I arrived, the waiting room started filling up with more people 'til the whole room was full. The receptionists need to do a better job of organizing patients' appointments and spacing enough meeting time with the doc so that there isn't an overfill. Accepting "drop-ins" as well doesn't help! When we finally saw Dr. Lee, I was really appalled by his lack of care, patience, and attention to my grandma. All his movements were really brisk and loud, like typing (more like tapping) the keys on his laptop, sifting through papers, etc. I could tell that he didn't want to be there. I scowled at him though he didn't see my expression (nor would he most likely care). According to my grandma, he only wants to address one health problem per patient visit and unfortunately, my grandma brought up another health problem first. Though toward the end of the visit, my mom and I told Dr. Lee how we think my grandma may have a mental health disorder and that we were advised by a mental health worker to get him (my grandma's family doctor) to make a lab referral to get her checked, he said that we should handle one health problem at a time (without making eye contact--how rude!) and to come back next time. HELL NO are we coming back to wait an infinity to see him!! After my mom and I insisted about my grandma's mental condition, Dr. Lee said that we just need to give the mental health worker's number to him. He left it at that with no further explanation and left the room. His apathy toward my grandma (and his other patients) is disheartening. I'd never want him to be my family doctor. I wanted to scream in his face. My mom said that when she saw him 30 years ago, in the 1980s, (when he was working in Vancouver's Chinatown), he was a much better doctor and actually made eye contact with his patients. Don't know what happened to him now. Patient fatigue? Growing hatred toward his job? Even his wife, one of his receptionists (he has two) was brisk and didn't seem to care much about what the patients had to say. She interrupted me several times and seemed really impatient. Dr. Lee is not a doctor to be trusted but sadly, it's hard to find Cantonese-speaking doctors in Vancouver as they all seem to be filled up with patients. He seemed to handle everything really hurriedly, didn't make eye contact with my grandma, my mom, nor me, and wanted to be out the door ASAP. From what my mom and her friends have said, he is an impatient and uncaring doctor. One of my mom's friends switched doctors as a result (I'd too if I was in her position). Dr. Lee has failed in his duty to be a doctor. If you can avoid him, please do. But if you have no choice but to see him, I warn you that he may ruin your day.

Dr. Rondeau was wonderful, totally receptive to my webmd research (lol) and knew exactly what I needed. He also had a student in the room with him for training, and was so kind and educational.

The reception staff I dealt with is rude, inept, incompetent, careless attitude and disgusting horrendous customer service. To make the experience at this clinic even more unbearable is THAT even with an appointment they make you wait an extra 1 hr to 2 hr in that disgusting waiting area. And after all the waiting most times STANDING because there are only 4 chair for the dozen people waiting with you to deal with dr Rondeau who rushes through with you (2 minutes max) before he politely tells you to come back for anything else your poor health may be enduring. Come back again he says as he rushes you out and goes on with his day. Meanwhile you have to wait another week(because your personal time means nothing to them) for another appointment, wait another hour or two in that disgusting waiting room for him to grant you another 2 minutes again of his valuable superior time. How devastating it feels as you watch that this dr doesn't care if you may be in pain. Feels horrible to deal with a doctor that is supposedly a professional that took an oath to be caring in his profession as a doctor. Specially now that is official they are shutting down the clinic he is becoming truly more vulgar in how he dismisses you as patient. Also as important is floors, halls, handles, chairs, bathroom in this clinic have never been wiped or moped or disinfected because the scum on those floors and around is old filth/scum. Management at this clinic should be embarrassed to call themselves doctors.
