The medical office assistants are kind and helpful, and the clinic manager has been amazing. All of this has been a very welcome change, especially since my last experience of 10 years + with a different very negligent Dr. and abusive receptionist. And after all the waiting most times STANDING because there are only 4 chair for the dozen people waiting with you to deal with dr Rondeau who rushes through with you (2 minutes max) before he politely tells you to come back for anything else your poor health may be enduring. Come back again he says as he rushes you out and goes on with his day. He is very caring and takes his time with each person. I am aware that often you have to wait and sometimes it's a long wait but I plan for this but you know when it's your turn, you will get his full and undivided attention. I never feel rushed with him. I think I'd rather that than a doctor who is on time but feels rushed. I always have a phone call now if I don't need to come to the office because then I can go about my business and just take the call when it comes in.

But other than that, Dr. Leung has always made me feel extremely comfortable and has legitimately listened to my concerns without brushing me off/trying to rush to the next patient. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and been granted referrals when I have asked; or been given a logical explanation if my request was not able to be granted. Dr. Polyakov was smug, dismissive and demonstrated an obvious lacking in compassion and caring. He prescribed 2 tablespoons of Metamucil and 2 litres of water per day! At one point I told him things weren't working out and it was becoming very painful. He said, "then drink 2 litres of water" (obviously his bladder was in better shape than mine). Over 6 months nothing he prescribed improved my condition; in fact, it made it worse. All my concerns fell on deaf ears. I eventually quite his program and am now waiting for surgery.
