Took my son to see Dr. Cohan for a sports knee injury. After x-ray, Dr. Cohan did not see anything…read moreand told me my son was fine, refusing to order an MRI as I requested. He told me if I wanted an MRI I should go pay for it as there was 'no reason' for him to order one. He told us to come back if the knee was still painful and swollen. After 3 months, we contacted him again for follow up as there was still pain and swelling. At that time, his staff gave me the complete runaround on a follow up appointment, even after I explained the situation and Dr. Cohan's instructions. He was 'too busy' to look at our case and respond. After a week and a half, finally after several more phone calls made to his clinic, they told me that he would not see us, and that we will need to find another doctor at another clinic to do the follow up. No real explanation for that other than 'he is only seeing his regular patients'. However, the clinic website currently STILL shows it is 'a walk in clinic that accepts new patients'. Fast forward several months, we finally are able to get an MRI and my son has an ACL tear and things look to be in pretty poor shape. This doctor is dismissive, rude, and not interested in the wellness of patients. His negligence delayed my son's treatment and recovery by 7 months. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! If you are not interested in helping patients, perhaps you are in the wrong business! I would not trust this doctor and would recommend going elsewhere.

The doctors at this location handpick the clients that they want to help. It is stated that they take walk-ins, but apparently it's only over the phone. I called to register my number for an appointment call back, and I initially repeated my number 5 times for the receptionist. After I gave her my number after 5 times, I was told I would get a call within an hour...... 6 hours later, I still get no calls. So I called back to the receptionist and she told me the Doctor had already called me, but I never received any missed calls. So then the receptionist said they got my number wrong accidentally, and she had made a mistake in the sequence with only a digit off the correct number. So then she made the "correction" and said I should expect a call really soon from the doctor. And I still never got a call back. This is the type of experience you will get when you go to a Persian run health clinic. I do not recommend, I've seen worse clinics in Mumbai that's better than this place. Please don't waste your time going here

Had several people who got checked in despite me and a few others had already waited in line for several minutes.... Basically the employees allowed them to cut in line. Today I was one of the many who had made an appointment and had waited for a WHILE in line..... and then all of the sudden they called for anyone who had an appointment. Fair enough...... UNTIL THEY let someone directly behind me come up and rang them up because they were too busy to realize I also stated I had an appointment too... took me everything I had not to raise my voice and call them out on it because it'll put myself at risk to being kicked out and having to make yet another appointment even though I was clearly in line with a few other people. I am not even in the wrong because I'm 99% sure there's probably a few other people in the waiting room who felt the same way as I did (that the line up and waiting time is all over the place). This specific location does blood tests, urine tests, stool samples and echo (and likely a couple other tests) and quite frankly I find it really unfortunate that they haven't even created a separate lab for those who just needed to pop in and do a quick blood and urine test and just leave. Those whose test could've been done within 5 minutes or less should've been let in first and shooed away right after. This would've EASILY caused the line to move a lot quicker. A giant waste of everyone's time is all I'm saying as quality control was non existent. PS. Disclaimer - I feel this isn't really entirely the fault of the employees (though I do feel they play a part in it), but the problem being the system they have to use just isn't effective. CEO of the company needs to be forced to either build another location here in the north shore that can do the same thing OR create a specific location that only does blood & urine tests for a quick in & out.

And to get past the service desk waiting time, that was definitely 30 minustes. The problem seems to be NOT ENOUGH STAFF to deal with BOTH appointment patients and walk-in patients. Why does Lifelabs allow that?

Beyond the fact that one can access gratis medical visits--thanks, Canada!--this clinic is a 'clean, well-lighted' & welcoming space for women from all social strata. My visit with the RN began ten minutes after my 10.30 appt. time. The client just before me had left at about a quarter past the hour. Be prepared to wait a bit, I guess. Not used to not having to pay for every little thing regarding health care, I was compelled to make a financial donation after my visit as both a thank-you & a way to support what is a very necessary women's institution. When I inquired, I was told that the collective would gladly accept a donation of women's clothing. Preferring to make a monetary donation, I was sent to chat with the clinic's director. PayPal would be the way to go, if one is so inclined.

If you're a woman looking for a walk-in clinic in the area, I highly recommend them.

I showed the receptionist the bite marks and she was astounded at his behavior. He has been really rude to me another time before. I asked to talk to a supervisor to spare another human being being told that they are essentially imagining things, and she told me to write it out and I would feel better. I told her I would feel better if the office manager would read it and do something about it. No one has contacted me at all!!
