He showed up on time, the estimate was fair, and they managed to squeeze me into their already busy schedule just three days later. They arrived within an hour of their quoted time (they send me a text letting me know they were on their way), which I don't fault them for as I was just happy to have them show up. They took lots of pictures before and after, and yes... our gutters were clogged. Not anymore though! The sales person (Jake) who came out to Niskayuna to provide an estimate was very friendly and said all the right things about how TBTJDG values their customers and works to retain your business. We agreed to a scope of work and paid a 50 percent deposit. On install day, the installer decided the scope of work needed to be changed, but didn't bother to contact us to discuss it before moving forward. The result was disastrous. I returned home from work to find two down spouts installed on both sides of the entry in the house in a very odd and unsightly manner. Imagine two very long wings coming out from the side of your house. Upon discovering this, we contacted Jake and he came out to review the situation. The fix we came up with was to extend the unsightly down spouts underground. They had the audacity to charge us to fix the mistake and to make matters worse it still took at least 3 weeks and several calls and text messages for someone to show up to complete the job. Today 2 installers who clearly have little or no experience doing this work showed up and things quickly went from bad to worse. We waited and watched patiently while they lacked the proper equipment and tools to do the job and had to leave several times in search of materials to complete the job. Six hours later we're told that someone else from the company will need to come back to complete the job because these installers were not comfortable with the results. Well guess what....neither are we. I typically don't write reviews good or bad. However, I've remained professional and cordial throughout this several week process, but this is utterly ridiculous. I feel sorry for the installers that came today. They needed guidance and tried to call their boss who couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone or call them back. Ultimately, the job was completed to the best of their ability. One would think that since the initial work didn't go well, they're send experienced installers capable of making things right. I say again, ridiculous. Buyer beware.

Christian and Demi came on the date scheduled and exactly on time and did an absolutely fantastic job of getting all the windows and the storm windows cleaned. Our house is difficult because our house has old-fashioned windows with eight-over-eight small panes all around, which take a lot of effort. They climbed up on the porch and the portico roof to clean hard-to-reach windows. We were very impressed with their efficiency and attention to detail, and in addition, they were cheerful and friendly. We would definitely call them !!! again and recommend them.

I wish I had read the review already posted before we hired them. Our brand new, just-stained railing somehow managed to get all nicked up and gauged today. I understand accidents happen, and there is always a slim possibility of other reasons, but when pointed out, the response was, "We weren't even working there." What? It's exactly where they were working! And, "there's nothing that would have scratched there." It's exactly where the sharp edged gutter was brought up over the railing. I couldn't believe the lack of accountability which continued. They actually tried to say there were other spots along the railing that were banged up, which was actually just not-perfect staining over bumpy wood grain...not the same thing at all as the gauges left. When they offered to stain the railings, I declined, as I just wanted them out as soon as possible after feeling so hoodwinked and disrespected Also attached it a photo of a gutter that they had banged up early in their visit. Though they ended up using it where it couldn't be seen, which is fine, it is proof that there is carelessness involved in their work. Also attached is the horribly cut hole through our brand new deck for the gutter and a crookedly installed gutter. Shoddy and unaccountable.

You…read moreinstalled the wrong size window which you refused to fix and did a terrible tile job which you also refused to fix as well as incorrectly installed a kitchen floor. You put a wall in the wrong place even after I told you 3 times it was in the wrong spot and refused to move it unless I paid - which I did. I ask anyone to please message me and I will show you all of the money I pad this unethical contractor plus photos of the work. Even the building inspector told me it looked like I tried to tile myself. He also scrubs his google reviews. He said he would not even discuss fixing anything until I pad in advance for the rest of the work NOT completed which was less than 5% of the total contract value. I was not going to give him any more money until he agreed to fix things he had already done wrong. Its easy for him to state this with no backup and make it sound like he is innocent. What else is he going to say. His work slowed down so much he finally looked at his reviews. He did the same thing to the other reviewer on here who posted in 2021 and he is just now responded at the end of 2024, years later. Stay away, there are plenty of ethical contractors out there. And please message me if you are considering using him.
