I have nothing but good things to say about Comfort Windows and Doors. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and I didn't have to chop off an arm or a leg to afford the window. (Just a baby toe) hahaha 5 stars all around

If you are looking for windows, look elsewhere. We had the representative come on May 14th to look…read moreat the windows needing replacing. We finalized everything on May 15th to include putting 2K down and signing the contract that stated the estimated lead time is 12-14 weeks. Comfort did not send out someone to do the final measurements until June 8th. I started to reach out in September inquiring about the status of the windows. Initially they were waiting on one window, then they were waiting on the truck. Finally, the windows were delivered to the local warehouse on 10/5. Mind you I have a newer build, cookie cutter house, they are not some crazy dimension windows. We then were scheduled for 10/26 for the install. I was sent a text to confirm on 10/23 to remove all window treatments and furniture near the windows. I was also told they would arrive between 8:30a-9:30a. On the installation day at 8:53a (after they were already supposed to be there or arriving) I got a text that there was a "family emergency" and our install would need to be rescheduled. This is of course after we took the day off from work to allow access to our home. It is now approximately 24 weeks since we signed the contract with no windows in sight. Comfort will argue that the lead time starts from the final measurement, which is still 20 weeks, blowing the proposed 12-14-week window out of the water. We have now been rescheduled for 11/10 which is an additional two weeks away. If they show this will be a total of 26 weeks to get 4 windows installed. I don't care if these windows are the best windows this planet has ever seen, after this entire experience I would NEVER do business with Comfort again, nor would I recommend them to anyone looking. My in-laws went with another company, ordered their windows after us and they have been installed for months. Comfort doesn't care about the customer, they are corporate greed at its best. Selling too much of the product (an expensive product at that) and not holding up their end. Do not buy windows from Comfort, who knows when well see ours

Our Experience with Marini Homes so far has been nothing but positive…read more As empty nesters we decided to downsize from our custom designed and built 4,700 square foot home to one better suited to our now less complicated needs and desires. Remembering back 22 years when we worked with a well known luxury home builder we can honestly say dealing with Marini was refreshingly painless. We had many lots to choose from and picked one with wonderful forest like well treed back yard. The homes in the development are planned so that they are varied in design and exterior finish creating a pleasant non cookie cutter setting. Once we made our lot and home selection the Marini design center made what we remembered from the past as a very trying and exhausting aspect of the build a breeze. All the possible choices in every possible level of finish from roof to basement were there to see. We found it amazing that so many of what were standard features at Marini's were often high priced options at some of the other local builders. We were excited the day there was finally a hole in the ground and followed the building process from then right up to our finished house walkthrough prior to closing. Having experience in the building industry from the days before copper tubing and nail guns I believe this house has been constructed with the finest modern materials that will serve us for many trouble free years in the future. We wish the give our heart felt thanks to Marini Builders and especially to Liz M., Monika O. and Jim C. for all they have done to make this beautiful home become a reality. Henry and Pamela B.

Not built to some NYS code like front steps and clothes dryer venting. Neighbors have redone their bathrooms to find NO shower pan. It's one thing to find obvious items in the first year like cold and hot water reversed but no shower pan on the second floor? Marini as contractor is responsible for ALL work done by sub contractors. They can't pass the buck,
