Over the last year, our company has doubled in size, adding team members who reside in over 20 different states. When I first heard that my company was going to Late Nite Art, I expected that I'd be walking into yet another one those cheesy wine & paint type of events. I could not have been more wrong. Late Nite Art is a thoughtfully-created masterpiece of an event that brought our team closer together in a genuine and unexpected way. Adam uses music, collaborative art projects and slowly escalating personal prompts that created a raw vulnerability and energy unlike any I've seen at prior team events. I think what was most amazing was that the warm and fuzzy feeling that was created felt totally natural and that the event brought this out of even people that are typically not super engaged. Revolutionary concept that will not only amp up your creativity, but will be something you remember well into the future. I run a teen program and asked Adam to help me get my teens out of the "college app" stupor and back into finding self worth from within. Also, my group has just started to congele and needed a bit of a catalyst to get them mixing and seeing each other in a deeper way. Late Nite Art came on a Sunday morning, on the last day of our first group retreat, and really left the teens skipping on their toes as they left for home. The creativity that pours out with the music, the aesthetic set-up that Adam prepares, and the unexpected prompts of how to engage with the space in a multitude of ways all makes for a fantastic group experience. I organized a company retreat for a group of ~50 people and brought Adam in as a facilitator for one of the sessions. Across all the activities during those 3 days, Late Nite Art was the most transformative for the group. What an amazing and unique experience...and so much fun! We worked with Late Nite Art to plan an event for 100+ Accenture employees located in the bay area. The event participants were all from different teams on the same account with minimal to no interaction prior to the event. Initially, the participants were thinking the event would be more like a wine-and-paint activity, but we were pleasantly surprised once we found out it was completely different. Adam was enthusiastic and energetic, which was really helpful in fueling the energy of the room. It was really impressive how he was able to keep the group so engaged, considering the number of people in attendance. At the end of the night and days after the event, we received a lot of positive feedback from participants around how well the activity was executed and how people felt much closer to their colleagues. Fun event. Great for meeting people and perhaps pushing you outside of your comfort zone. I really didn't know what I was getting into when I purchased tickets for LATE NIGHT ART. The description was vague: food, art, etc.... sounded good to me. The best way I can describe it is that you will be doing a lot of art creating and some food eating activities with a bunch of friendly strangers. How much you get out of it is perhaps up to you. Some of the activities were more interesting than others, but ultimately it is just about having a good time. Definitely come with an open mind, as you will be interacting with strangers and perhaps do activities you haven't done since Kindergarten, such as painting and drawing. The food we tried was all right. Healthy, made with care and with good ingredients. Nothing too fancy, but enjoyable. At $50 I think the experience was worth it for me, but it might not be for everyone. If what you read sounds interesting, then definitely give it a shot. read more

We were in the thick of COVID, fully remote, and looking for an experience that helped build relationships, trust, and psychological safety among the team. We had the extreme pleasure of having Late Nite Art at a team meeting this summer for 120 people in Monterey. The experience of working with Adam and Nilisha was outstanding - we met a couple times in advance for them to understand our meeting goals and needs. As someone who isn't the most skilled artist when it comes to painting, drawing and the like, I was nervous about participating but quickly learned that whether you're a novice or Picasso, it's an incredible time from start to finish. I connected with some amazing people, enjoyed thoughtfully catered cuisine (delicious!), jammed to a perfectly curated set list (Adam, the event's facilitator, also doubles as the DJ) and contributed to a beautiful work of art. It's rare to find all these things in one place but Late Nite Art seamlessly fuses art, music, food and community to create a one of a kind experience. I found Late Nite Art while researching new and exciting ideas for Nightlife programming at the California Academy of Sciences. I was immediately drawn to the mission and the attitude of Late Nite Art, and I knew I wanted to be involved. I've now experienced the event as a volunteer, a participant, and finally-- as a collaborator at Nightlife on June 12th. Together, we were part of SF Design Week, and Adam provided some of the most interesting, boundary pushing programming of the night. A couple weeks ago I had the honor of photographing this Adam's Late Night Art Event at the Hub Oakland. Instead of going to a bar on a Friday night... Adam has create a truly unique and interactive experience that everyone truly felt at the event. After an initial meeting and soiree, all the attendees got to sit down , eat an amazing meal and co-create art together. As a photographer that attends many events, I can honestly say this was ONE OF THE BEST events I have attended ....and for once, no one was on their phones! What an incredible experience. Adam has a knack for creating a safe, open, exploratory vibe. This was an incredible event!! I can't say enough positive things about my experience. It was so fun getting to know other people through art as well as sharing an amazing meal. Since most people were not artists for a living, we all in the same boat and it let each of us put our guards down and have a genuine, fun experience. This event was completely different than any of the other numerous team building events I've ever attended. The evening flowed effortlessly with the entire group happily participating. The activities were not only engaging and full of laughter, but also provided the perfect combination of self-reflection...all while getting to know your teammates on a personal level! As a result, if you had described to me the team building event you had booked with Late Night Art ahead of time, I would have asked to see if something else could be schedule something. However, I truly ended up having an amazing time. In just a few hours, Late Night Art had our group of forty or so people, from every part of the country, many of who had never met or even spoken to each other, forming a bond that could not have come from anything else I can think of. We went from drawing a picture on our own, to helping other people with their drawings, to connecting hands and drawing, to anonymously sharing personal thoughts and concerns, to having many people choosing to share their personal thoughts and concerns with the group in only a few hours. There was never any pressure for anyone to do anything they didn't feel comfortable with. And, by the end of the evening, we were all amazed at the bonds that we had formed. -Jon D. When I asked what we would be doing, I was given a very vague answer of "Some kind of finger painting or something," which sounded extremely uninteresting. After arriving to the event, the team gathered around the tables and the hosts took over to get the group to interact with each other; I began to see potential for everyone to socialize and enjoy one another. While the event was forming, I allowed myself to go with the moment. I had an opportunity to socialize and bond with some folks I normally don't in an environment outside of normal work conditions. I tend to be a bit introverted, so this experience allowed me to show a different side and to be more extroverted which is something that has been asked of me as a senior member of the sales team. Adams ability to transform a space and event was incredible. He took the time to understand our institution and tailor the event to fit our needs.
