I purchased a bedroom set on line because I'm in Florida. Before doing so, I confirmed that the 8 pieces I ordered were in fact 'IN STOCK'. The order was placed March 27, 2023. Under normal conditions, once an order is placed, a confirmation of the order is sent out. As of today, March 31, 2023, nothing has been received. However, Lastman's Bad Boy charged my credit card. I attempted to call customer service March 29th and after waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I hung up. I then immediately sent an email as directed to do while online with no response. Friday March 31st, I called the Barrie location where I live and spoke to 'Barb'. She was very kind and understanding and subsequently advised that the order number I was provided with is wrong. Furthermore, I was informed that 1 of the items I purchased wouldn't be available until sometime in August 2023. If that's the case, why wasn't i informed? A phone call, message or email. NOTHING. Lastman's Bad Boy fraudulently charged my credit card without disclosing anything. My advice to anyone thinking of shopping at 'Lastman's Bad Boy', DON'T. IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!! Norm L read more

Stay away from this Furniture store. They tell you they will provide you with your product in 4-6 weeks, then call you 2 weeks after it was due to be picked up telling you you will have to wait another 5 months. Then when you try to cancel and obtain a refund, they hold their customers hostage saying Bad Boy's policy is ALL SALES ARE FINAL, even if they don't have your product. BBB review for this store has almost 1500 negative reviews saying Poor Warranty Service, over 800 are based on customers having to wait over a year for product to be received, and store refusing to give a refund. My wife and I went in to look at refrigerators and were met with a very ambitious salesman who proceeded to tell me that my reviews of LG appliance were way off and that he knows better since he has been at his job for over twenty years. He then proceeded to tell me that the price of the fridge we were looking at will be going up $100 as soon as we walk out the door. I bid him farewell. I will never go back into that store. We went over to The Brick and got a better deal from a very nice young lady. Noooo body should go into a Bad Boy store. read more

On March 6, 2023, my 83 year old Mom purchased a chair from Bad Boy, Barrie. Upon purchasing, she was assured delivery within 2-3 weeks. Now, 8 weeks later, she's still waiting. After taking accessible transit back to the store to inquire about her chair and ask for a refund, she was treated so rudely and was flat out told she wasn't getting a refund and that her chair wouldn't arrive until the beginning of June. Not only is the service she received so unacceptable, the fact that the store manager hasn't the decency to return my phone calls, well, speaks volumes. Saddest part of this entire situation - this is the first new piece of furniture my Mom has purchased for herself. Shame on you Bad Boy. Like your ads say...NO BODY! Should be minus a star. I have been waiting 12 weeks for a love seat purchased on Aug. 30, 2021 and was promised delivery in 5 to 6 weeks. Went back in on Sept. 30, They could not find my order on the computer under my name or phone number. As it turned out the salesman did not write my phone number down right. They wanted to know if I ordered on line or through their flier. I stated that I ordered in the store. So they said we have no record of this sale. well I said you have $1700.00 of my money. I asked them if they keep a binder on their sales. They checked the binder and found my order. I have never received a phone call from the store or salesman that took my order. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was in last week and they said it would be delivered on the 15th of this month (November) and so far nothing. i certainly would advice anyone NOT TO SHOP AT BAD BOYS DUE TO LACK OF CONCERN FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. read more

DISCLAIMER: this review is based on 1 experience not on all my experiences there! This review isn't some much about the store itself because I've gone there before and bought way more than expected because their deals are great! But with that being said I returned to the store friday April 22nd with full intentions of purchasing a couch. I was greeting by a sales woman which was of course fine except for the fact that she followed me and my mother! She followed us down to the lower level which is only 3 steps below the sales floor (that's where all the floor models are being sold at a discounted price). We then decided to go to the top level which she then followed us up there explaining that she was just coming up incase we needed any help. By this point I was so frustrated because she was hovering over us and watching us as if we were gonna steal something. We decided to go back downstairs to the main level and yet again she followed us and followed only a few steps behind us. We were going back to the clearance section but decided to walk around the fridges hoping she wouldn't follow us or see where we were going but when we got to the end or the fridges guess who was standing there waiting for us. We looked at the couches anyway but after she continued to follow us we decided not to buy anything even though we had found something we had really like. I will be going back to badboy in the future but I will not tolerate this woman's antics again and if we run into her again I will be requesting to deal with another salesperson. read more

We have shopped for our rental properties and our home at Barrie location Bad Boys and each time have had amazing service. They are attentive to our questions and look things up when they do not know. I like the not know it all approach and service has always been wonderful. I like that most of the store holds Canadian made furniture! Very important to us! There is somethng for every budget and the colour choices are modern, stylish and easy! Cheaply made furniture, my couch wore out after 4 years when a salesman boasted the quality and longevity of the product. I was also sold a warranty that covers "everything and anything" and my claim was denied as it is "typical wear and tear" even within the five year warranty period. Save your money, cheaply made product that will wear out and a company that will not stand behind their product and honor warranties. read more

I would give this store a -1. Very disappointed I purchased a small floor model fridge and even though it was inspected they missed the fact that the ground plug wasn't aligned properly and when we went to plug it in the ground fell off. Took the fridge back to the store and all the info I received was call the manufacturer on the bill they are responsible for repairs not the store, obviously they don't stand behind the merchandise they sell. Very frustrated, no help offered at all. continually told they won't do anything, contact the manufacturer, I think that if they sell you defective merchandise they should come good for either giving you your money back or replacing what you bought after all who wants to purchase anything defective even if it will be fixed. read more

After my last review and Bad boy claiming they contacted the manufacturer about my issue, I decided to call the manufacturer myself. They claimed that they did not hear anything from Bad Boy and started a new investigation for my issue. After much back and forth, pictures sent to them about the damaged diswasher, and an onsite inspection from the manufacturers repair company, the dishwasher was deemed damaged beyond repair. With all of this evidence, that was originally provided to Bad Boy, the manufacturer provided me with a new dishwasher, free of charge. With this, I do not know why it was possible for me to resolve this, having no prior connection to the manufacturer and not possible for Bad Boy. This is a prime example why people should not shop at local chains because once the sale is finalized, they do not care about you nor will they stand up for you when something goes wrong. Instead, using larger corporations like Sears, The Bay and Ikea, with better return policies and better customer service is worth not supporting companies like Bad Boy. All they do is look at these posts, ask you if there is anything they can do and to email social@badboy.ca, and still not care of what had occurred, like they do with all the posts on Yelp. A special shout out to Jeevan, Tony and Renza. Thanks for the offer of $75 and not caring enough to do, what I had to for myself, even though I am your customer or at least was your customer. Do not EVER shop here! We bought a kitchen table on August 1st and were assured it would be delivered September 5. The night before, Bad Boy called and said there was a delay getting the table in, so it would not be delivered until a week later. This was ok- however, a week later when no one called to confirm delivery, we called back and were informed that the table was on 'infinite delay' and they didnt know when it was coming. It is not 2nd week of October and we STILL dont have a kitchen table for our new home. We went to Bad Boy for the price b/c we couldnt afford a Sears/Leon's/The Brick item, but I wish now we had spent the extra money and gone there, because now Bad Boy wont even give us a refund- we just have to wait. They dont even call to follow up- I was the one calling everyday. Its not even that it was delayed- its the fact that Bad Boy prides itself on customer service, but I have not received anything CLOSE to the kind of service they advertise, Moral of the story- if you're in a rush and want REAL customer service- DON'T SHOP HERE!! I bought a couch last year and took out the extended warranty. I called before the year warranty was up as my couch is sagging at one end and the cushions are wearing. I was told I would hear back within 48 hours. I heard nothing. I have called 4 times with promises of call backs and no one follows through. I even visited the store. I called before the store warranty was up but now it's over although I took out the extended warranty. On one of my calls I was told the extended warranty does not cover wear and tear and the sagging . Then what does it cover. read more
