They almost ruined my wedding. I got married in 2012 but I still remember how upset I was that day. 1) I specifically asked for an all pink/violet bouquet for myself. I wanted it larger than my bridesmaids and I wanted theirs mostly white. That didn't happen. 2) My boutonnières were placed in a corner somewhere upon delivery and my groom and his groomsmen NEVER received those expensive ass boutonnières we paid for. 3) My arch was made of some ghetto looking painted iron bars with ribbons tied on the side. I absolutely didn't ask for those "touches" and hate how they look in my pictures. 4) I told the owner multiple times to make my maid and matron bouquets the same size and he insisted on doing things his way. He matron's was bigger. Overall, I was disappointed and seeing these things on my wedding day, though small, really upset me. If you are a more go with the flow bride, this place may be for you. But I am type A and expected things to be exactly how they were promised to me. read more

Not only was I quickly attented, but I was received with such great hospitality. More importantly, they had a beautiful arrangement of roses. I will definitely be coming back even though I live an hour away. One never forgets a great place. read more

I sent my friend , literally last minute flowers. From last minute florist. My friend was so pleased with her arrangement she called me twice and texted me 3 times to tell me how beautiful the arrangement was and then texted me a week later to tell me how they were still alive and looking good. They were helpful and friendly. I was worried about ordering flowers on a budget, because a lot of times the florist will short cut the job and use old flowers. No way not this place. They also added in some tropical flowers ( not cheap) but they did it. So beautiful and lots of quality. A great combo. read more

Very friendly and social people as I made my way inside. This was my first time coming here and wasn't really sure what I wanted. I let him know that it was for a birthday and I wanted something nice, he had the price range of a 39$ or 49$. I was very pleased with my arrangement, he offered me a water while I waited which I thought was nice. In and out in about 15 minutes. read more

Came in the day before Mother's Day and they were really busy with other arrangements but that didn't stop them from attending me quickly and giving me the best customer service! I wasn't all that sure of what I wanted for my mom but it's like they knew her! All they asked was what my budget was and what her favorite color was and like that they made a beautiful arrangement that did not look last minute! They even informed me how to make the flowers last longer and told me some of the flowers would bloom in a day or two and as soon as they bloomed, the arrangement looked even more beautiful. This will now be my go-to place for flowers! read more

I was on my way to Ralphs for a bouquet for a friend who was taking part in a bodybuilding competition when I noticed this shop, and I'm so glad. I just told him what the occasion was and they put together some roses that were already opened up nicely with baby's breath, a fat red ribbon, and this red mesh fabric. It was exactly what you'd want to present, and I didn't have to spell it out they just knew. We didn't discuss the price, but in my head I was thinking $25 - $30, and don't you know the price came out to $27.50?! A gleaming example of why you want to support a locally-owned business! Couldn't have been happier. read more

Needed two bouquets for my uncle's funeral. Being from Hawaii, had to have a tropical theme but without breaking the bank price wise. Took a chance and left a message for a callback on Sunday night. Monday morning, the most wonderful man calls me back and guides me his website to show me samples of beautiful arrangements with anthuriums, ginger, orchids, etc. Saturday morning...2 gorgeous displays honored my uncle. Thanks Last Minute Florist! read more

I recently lost my Dad and I walked into this shop looking for funeral arrangements. Me and family was given water and a seat to look at pictures, talk about what we wanted and it was such a pleasant visit. I didn't feel pressured or that this was just a sale. This is what you call 'World Class Service". I wish we had more people and companies that treat you like a human and not a sale. I was very pleased with the product as well. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and I can tell that time and effort was put into the arrangement. I wish your business and workers nothing but the best. Stay the way you are!! Terrible flower store, all the flowers were dead. I ordered over the phone and received 2 dead bouquets each with 3 dead roses for $20

I don't typically write reviews, but this time I am. I spoke with Doug about what I was looking for, the types of flowers, color palette and he nailed it. The 4 arrangements I ordered were absolutely stunning. Thank you for helping to bring some beauty to our family function. I'm happy to have walked into your shop after all these years. read more

I was waiting for this place to call me at 2:00pm to pick up my flowers and no call. I called them at 2:30pm and they told that they are out of red roses that I ordered and paid for. There was no negotiation for the price on my flowers that the roses were wilted and the presentation bouquet was over expensive for what I got. I paid for a dozen of red roses and he was trying to add other colors bc he said they are out maybe that's why 6 of the roses were wilted with no life in them. These people are killing customers with their prices. Too expensive for what they delivered as a product. They didn't care about the customer but they got their money. read more

My favorite flower shop in town. I needed a bouquet asap and it was ready in minutes. Very pleasant owners.

I ordered a cancer ribbon for my grand mothers funeral. I told him what I wanted and he said no problem. When I saw the arrangement at the funeral home for the first time, he had gone over and beyond what I expected. It was beautiful. I will definitely be going back. Great service, Reasonable prices and beautiful arrangements. What more can you ask for. read more

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Doug & his flower boutique! I was referred to him by my MOH! Honestly I was skeptical at first because his shop didn't look like he had any flowers and the books of pictures looked very old school but let me tell you, I was VERY wrong! I told Mr Doug I wanted my bouquet a certain way and he was working with MY budget. The colors for my wedding were Tiffany blue, charcoal grey & a hint of silver. I advised him I wanted an all white bouquet with greenery. He advised to incorporate blue to have my wedding dress "pop" I honestly wasn't too fond of the idea because all I could think of was a quinceanera LOL I trusted my MOH so I knew she wouldn't just refer anyone. On the actual wedding day when I saw the flowers, I was in AWE! My bouquet was gorgeous, beyond my expectations! The center pieces were perfect, the MOH and bridesmaids bouquet were beautiful and the center pieces were amazing! Mr. Doug you have really outdone yourself & I was ONE happy bride! Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

Last Minute Florists - Flower for my grandmother. She loved it!!! - Florists Near Me - Carson, California

I called a day ahead asking them to create an arrangement for someone at work who was about to retire. It was very easy to talk to Renee on the phone about what I wanted, but I left it all up to her regarding what flowers to use (I just said mixed). The next day I came to pick up the flowers. They were ready on time and they were absolutely beautiful. I didn't get to take a picture because I was pressed for time, but there aren't enough words to say about how gorgeous and fresh the flowers were. I got compliments and the recipient loved them. I almost wanted to keep the arrangement for myself! I am very pleased with Last Minute Florists and I highly recommend them. read more

Went in for Valentine's Day. The shop seemed unorganized and frankly dirty. The reason for the two stars is bad customer service. I waited in line like everyone else and when I got to the counter I started asking about flower bouquet options and the guy that was "helping" me barked out a two options and just walked away and around me to another guy in line and started to help him. Huh?!! I wasn't taking up any time with endless questions on a busy day. They just seemed less interested in creating longtime customers and cashing in on the day. Not intelligent business strategy. I ended up spending my $$ down the street at a more professional flower shop. Who I will return to many more times. read more

I contacted their office at 5:14pm after I discovered I ordered flowers from a company from out of the country who took my money. They were so accommodating and kind. They rushed to get my flowers delivered same day and the cost was very reasonable for a rush delivery for someone else's error. Great customer service. Thank you for your great service. read more

Doug was referred from the Carson civic center. We walked in and he took complete control. My wife wasn't sure exactly what she wanted, she just knew she wanted fresh flowers. Doug was extremely flexible and reasonable with the budget.. So much when I told my aunt who has been planning weddings for 35 years how much he was charging us she couldn't believe it. Doug showed up on time and did a phenomenal job. No complaints at all.. The man is a professional. Don't let the inside of his shop fool you. This man knows flowers! Thank you Doug read more

After getting discouraged when calling around to florists and getting outrageous price quotes for our wedding, we were referred by a friend to give Last Minute Florist a shot. WOW how impressed I was with his professionalism, kindness, humor, friendliness, and the time Doug took out each time we met with him, even on a Sunday when he's normally closed! We have used him since then for anniversary flowers as well as Memorials...never have we been let down! Thank you Doug, you're amazing!!! read more

Doug and his family are simply amazing. I have been going to Last Minute Florists for many years and always amazed at the creativity, beauty, and affordability of the flowers. Doug has been my florist through birthday parties, gender reveal party, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, and my dad's homecoming. Today, I asked for a bouquet of flowers for my mom's birthday, and literally asked can it be done in 45 minutes so I can pick it up during my lunch break and it was ready and beautiful. My mom loves her birthday flowers. Thanks Doug and family/staff for providing 100% excellent customer service. I appreciate you all. A satisfied lifetime customer. read more

The hours in the front said open till 6pm today. I'm actually outside right now. I see the flowers I want too :( but they are closed and locked up. Last Minute Florists did a last minute funeral arrangement (heart shaped wreath) for me that came out beautifully.
