The way he went about ADHD assessment was extremely unprofessional. I felt belittled and degraded. He pretty much insinuated that I would amount to nothing. His reaction to hearing about my childhood and upbringing was negative and I felt bad after our sessions. The very opposite of uplifted or empowered. When I asked him for a letter of recommendation for a program I was applying for - he flat pout refused and insinuated it wouldn't be a good idea and I would not succeed. I have since then gotten a recommendation from my family doctor and successfully completed the program. This guy needed to lose his license years ago. Reading his other reviews, The amount of people he has negatively impacted is heartbreaking.

The vibe from her felt very gentle and knowledgeable, and committed to help with the concerns I had. She provided me with some information before and after the appt which was wonderful and she asked me what my concerns were/what I wanted to focus on for the appt. It felt easy to speak to her and ask questions which is great. I can say that I felt so much better the next day from the treatment I had which is always great knowing that it's working. My stepson went into this recovery centre after years of addiction and one other stint at a…read moredifferent rehab facility. He made fast friends here at Inspire Change and everyone seemed to be cheering him on. The doctors, his counsellor, other staff members. He finished their 45-day program. They told his parents that they felt he did not need to go into second stage, which is a transitional stage where he rooms with other recovering addicts for additional support and guidance. Six days after he left this facility he overdosed. Unfortunately, he did not make it. I fully understand that it was up to my stepson to utilize the tools he learned and to reach out when he was floundering. He did not do that in this case and that is very sad. The issue I have with this facility is that, although they were informed of what had happened, nobody reached out. My stepson was on life support for six days. Not one staff member reached out to us. The only people that reached out and actually came by while he was in hospital were a couple of the guys that were in treatment with him. The staff were all buddy buddy with him when he was in the facility and we were paying them but now, when it is our most difficult moment in life, not one word from anyone. He had only left there 6 days before and it felt like he was forgotten already, just a number for them. So disappointing and sad that the humanity and compassion that we assumed he had there seems to have been just a facade.

The first time I was rushed in with no wait, and immediately hooked up to a nebulIzer. Then they decided I needed additional treatment, and so they called St Paul's Hospital Emergency and sent me there by cab. I was able to be seen and hooked up with no wait. The next time I had another severe asthma attack, they weren't quite as helpful. They made me wait, even though I clearly was having an extremely hard time breathing. I was wheezing badly and felt I couldn't get any oxygen to my lungs. The Dr who saw me acted aloof and like I was an inconvenience to him. I asked about the nebulIzer and he blew me off - even though I clearly was having major problems breathing. He didn't give me anything at the office, so I continued to have my attack until my RX was filled! I went away still feeling the same as when I arrived- I was not happy ! It was a horrible cold day that we had a snow storm and everything was frozen. It took a long time to get anywhere. My husband had to go fill my RX for me which took forever. Anyone with asthma knows how scary it is when you can't breathe. I was wheezing so loud and couldn't catch my breath. I couldn't believe he sent me away still having a full blown asthma attack! I haven't been back since.
