Not only were the sessions unhelpful, the counsellor was condescending. At one point when I briefly mentioned a past event, she leaned forward, shook her head, and said "and you bringing up the past, how does that help?" I was shocked by her response, and I said, "excuse me?", and she repeated the exact same words. We have since found a much better couples counsellor at another clinic. I would not recommend Jericho counselling.

The actual hypnosis is so relaxing, at the end I felt refreshed and very hopeful. I came to pivotal hypnotherapy with the following issues: difficulties with my husband, struggling to balance motherhood and work, bad relationship with my father, fear of public speaking, chronic stress, health issues, low energy, etc. I was at a very low point in my life and I was ready to try anything. I started learning about hypnotherapy online and how it works directly with subconsciousness, which apparently is responsible for how we operate our lives, for our choices, emotions, etc. I found Lynne online and after reading on her website about the tools she uses I quickly understood that she is very qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. Lynne uses a holistic approach and she does not spend hours talking about your past traumas and experiences. She is very generous with sharing different recourses, tools that she is aware of. During the course of my treatment I learnt about ETF method, I learnt self-hypnosis, Gut health, I learnt common feeling patterns and how to correct them. Lynne was able to point out the root cause of my autoimmune condition! She also gave me some recommendations on how to correct it. After only 1.5 months my family moved to my dream house, my relationship with my husband improved significantly, I started enjoying driving (I was afraid of driving before), I became more confident, my voice became stronger and more persuasive (which happened naturally with increase in my confidence I believe), my relationship with my father improved and my past traumas were healed, I started loving myself more, I learned about some things that were stopping me from moving to the next level in my career and life in general. Now I have more clarity on what I want and what I don't want. I know how to set boundaries and get what I want. I realized that I am happier than I have been for a long time. Lynne also taught me a technic how to manifest different goals and desires (one at a time though :)). When I just started working with Lynne, she told me that my life was about to change. To be honest I was a bit skeptical, I did not realize that it could happen so soon. I think everyone will benefit from working with Pivotal hypnotherapy. I highly recommend working with Lynne. Very grateful, Ainur

I was first referred to Micheal Gordon from a dear friend who spoke highly of him. I was at a point…read morein my life where I felt I had reached rock bottom after dealing with narcissistic male partners, abusive relationships, childhood sexual abuse and then finally being t-boned in a motor vehicle accident (none of which were my fault). I was left feeling anxiety, having panic attacks and with depression. I was at a point where I was unable to get out of bed or leave my bedroom because of the depth of emotional and psychological pain I felt within myself. I felt broken and run down and without any hope. During the 90 minute sessions, Micheal helped treat me using the EMDR technique to overcome many self limiting beliefs. He made me feel safe. He was the first person (and male) I could really talk to about everything and anything, knowing that opening up to him would lead to profound insights and healing. There have been so many 'aha' moments during our therapy sessions! Micheal taught me self respect, self confidence, and an entirely new way of looking at myself and at my life. So today, after only a few sessions of EMDR, I feel like a brand new person. I feel like I was given a new life and a second chance. I have never felt more at peace within myself and I have a new found love for myself and for who I am as a person. Not only that, I gained an incredible amount of self confidence and have gained tools in my toolbox that help me navigate through life and relationships in an entirely new, healthy and whole way. Working with Micheal has been like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and then moving towards that light. Coming to the end of the therapy sessions, I realize that that light was within me all along. I just had to learn to let it shine. Fearlessly and unapologetically. I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work on being the best and healthiest version of myself through Mindful You Therapy. I feel like the Universe answered my deepest wish--to be happy, healthy and whole. YS

After four visits, I broke through. I was shocked and amazed at how effective and quick the process is, and how the process continued to work for several months following that breakthrough. Trusting myself allowed me to remove negative influences in my life, and allow myself to trust others...something I never did easily before visiting Michael. I returned to Michael eight months later to work through the source of my smoking and weight issues. Three visits later, he guided me through another breakthrough. The form of therapy, Michael's knowledge of the process, his kindness, and probing questions make what can be a traumatic experience equate to freeing your demons and allowing you to live the life you want to live. It's been one week since my last therapy session - I've lost 8 lbs, smoke less, and feel truly happy, from the inside out. I thank Michael for working so effectively with me and guiding me in releasing the past and living the life I want today. - KM (Vancouver, BC)
