I came to pivotal hypnotherapy with the following issues: difficulties with my husband, struggling to balance motherhood and work, bad relationship with my father, fear of public speaking, chronic stress, health issues, low energy, etc. I was at a very low point in my life and I was ready to try anything. I started learning about hypnotherapy online and how it works directly with subconsciousness, which apparently is responsible for how we operate our lives, for our choices, emotions, etc. I found Lynne online and after reading on her website about the tools she uses I quickly understood that she is very qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. I went to Michelle as she was in the area and wow...what a difference...anyone else I had talked to had more of the sounding board approach and showing support which is fine, but when I went to Michelle she explained why everything was happening, I would get homework at times which I like, book suggestions, audiobook and meditation suggestions, I felt like I was taking a course in counselling and so much finally made sense to me, so many things answered instead of other counselors I saw that where "that must have been difficult for you" "how does that make you feel" "well...these things happen in life and it's good you came to see me". We learned communication skills that have proven effective over the last 10 years. We did a couple of follow-up sessions a couple of years after first seeing her and haven't needed her help again. She's good if you are ready to go deep quickly. If you are trying to figure out life questions (like, should we move? Take that job?) she's not so great but if you are having "you just won't listen... I can't seem to get through to you... Why aren't we close anymore? Why aren't we having sex anymore? You drive me nuts ... I don't think you love me anymore..." she'll help you get back to intimacy.
