I came to pivotal hypnotherapy with the following issues: difficulties with my husband, struggling to balance motherhood and work, bad relationship with my father, fear of public speaking, chronic stress, health issues, low energy, etc. I was at a very low point in my life and I was ready to try anything. I started learning about hypnotherapy online and how it works directly with subconsciousness, which apparently is responsible for how we operate our lives, for our choices, emotions, etc. I found Lynne online and after reading on her website about the tools she uses I quickly understood that she is very qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. Lynne uses a holistic approach and she does not spend hours talking about your past traumas and experiences. She is very generous with sharing different recourses, tools that she is aware of. During the course of my treatment I learnt about ETF method, I learnt self-hypnosis, Gut health, I learnt common feeling patterns and how to correct them. Lynne was able to point out the root cause of my autoimmune condition! She also gave me some recommendations on how to correct it. After only 1.5 months my family moved to my dream house, my relationship with my husband improved significantly, I started enjoying driving (I was afraid of driving before), I became more confident, my voice became stronger and more persuasive (which happened naturally with increase in my confidence I believe), my relationship with my father improved and my past traumas were healed, I started loving myself more, I learned about some things that were stopping me from moving to the next level in my career and life in general. Now I have more clarity on what I want and what I don't want. I know how to set boundaries and get what I want. I realized that I am happier than I have been for a long time. Lynne also taught me a technic how to manifest different goals and desires (one at a time though :)). When I just started working with Lynne, she told me that my life was about to change. To be honest I was a bit skeptical, I did not realize that it could happen so soon. I think everyone will benefit from working with Pivotal hypnotherapy. I highly recommend working with Lynne. Very grateful, Ainur

I go to Jericho Counselling for private counselling appointments but have also attended a group…read moretherapy series there. My group sessions were 4 times on one topic with other adults. We did a mixture of discussions, brainstorming and short mini lectures and relaxation techniques. I recommend the group sessions because it was helpful not to feel alone with, my challenges and became friends with another woman in the sessions. Also, found the counselors who ran the session were knowledgeable and synthetic. Now I am doing my own private sessions. They cost more than the workshops. I went with the second counselor in met. I choose the frequency of my appointments so it is not a package or set number of times. My health plan covered some of the cost. I find that my counselor is really helping me deal with an ongoing family issue. She is professional and we created a plan together. People in my life and colleagues have mentioned that I seem less stressed and I am sleeping better. I am happy to recommend them to others. One thing I will mention is there seems to be a lot of construction around the Broadway building. Sometimes the elevators take a while too.

Not only were the sessions unhelpful, the counsellor was condescending. At one point when I briefly mentioned a past event, she leaned forward, shook her head, and said "and you bringing up the past, how does that help?" I was shocked by her response, and I said, "excuse me?", and she repeated the exact same words. We have since found a much better couples counsellor at another clinic. I would not recommend Jericho counselling.
