It is my pleasure to write this review in regards to "Direct Auto of Tennessee", because of thier…read moreexemplary professionalism and customer service! I made contact with the company on March 25th 2020, and was referred to "Jesse Sprague" to fulfill my vehicle inquiries. I was looking to purchase a new Mercedes-benz Cls 63 Amg s and this company had a gorgeous one for sale. Now, I'm a fairly particular and detailed individual when it comes to buying anything unseen, so I had a myriad of picture angle requirements as well as video requests. Jesse without hesitation, sent me around 50+ photos with a few high definition videos vividly illustrating the vehicle's condition, he was excited to show me the car and was happy for me! This man came in early to the office just to make sure I was comfortable and confident befor my purchase, who does that?!!? Mind you this is all during the CORONA-VIRUS pandemic! Once my paperwork was completed, I set up shipping, in which Jesse came from the comfort of his home to ensure that my vehicle was being handled professionally TWICE throughout this shipping process!! He was protective, sent me pictures, videos and all the shipper's information to make sure I was at ease. This, by an, extraordinary margin has been the best purchasing experience I've ever had and i can't say enough good things about Jesse! I have made a friend through this process, and next time I am in town drinks are on me sir, thank you!!!

Update: Direct Auto sold me a car with a broken passenger mirror after they explained that "one of…read moretheir employees had accidentally broken it," which was all fine until I had it repaired yesterday and found a slug inside the mirror. The car did not have the bullet hole in the dealers advertisement, so this obviously happened while in the care of Direct Auto. First time, I've even bought a car with actual bullet holes. Someone is not being forthright which makes me question their overall business practices. Direct Auto was decent! Ask for Anthony, he is 100% of the reason I bought a car here. Anthony is professional, knowledgeable, low-pressure and a pleasure to deal with. This is rare at most car dealers these days! Another reason they didn't get 5 stars from me is they gave me the car with the gas light on, and I had to immediately go fill up. C'mon man :(

Dear Hopkinsvillians - next time you need a car, go see David at Grace Auto Sales…read more Let's set our wayback machines to 3rd week of July. Our 1999 Chevy Venture van finally gave up the ghost and we decided to buy a car from this army family in Oak Grove. We spent $1300.00 on what proved to be a total wreck! (Caveat Emptor, right?) So here we are stuck with two vehicles that only marginally work, and desperately in need of a car to get my dear wife to and from work. We happened to drive by Grace Auto Sales and saw this lovely 2010 Honda Odyssey - burgundy colored, and asked Dave about it. Although a bit high for our budget he offered to take our two cars in trade and a small down payment. He did all the paperwork and the car was ours. Yesterday, I noticed the battery light was flickering on and off while driving home. This morning, taking my wife to work, the battery light came on steady. After dropping her off I took the car to AutoZone to have the charging system checked. The salesman found no output from the alternator. We had the car for a little over a month and already, we had problems. So I called up Dave and basically said, "What now?" He came and got me, charged up the battery and got me over to the dealership. Then he and I researched alternators. After finding one, he said - OK, $260.00 for the alternator with installation. You pay half, and I'll pay half. (The car had been sold to me "as is" - which is most the case with used cars. Anyway, after getting the alternator in, he drove it over to the repair place they used and in about 3 hours we got the car back. Not getting paid until Wednesday, Dave accepted a post dated check from me for the work. David did all he could, in spite of him not, in reality, having to, and got us going again. He's a good man, and a fair man, and wants to keep your business. I highly recommend Grace Auto Sales when you need a car. Thanks again, Dave, for all your help.

Everything was transparent, no sales pressure, and they even matched my trade-in offer from another dealership. The process was quick, the fees were way lower than big dealerships, and the whole experience just felt easy. I'll be sending everyone I know their way. Shout out to Eric and Wayne!

No pressure, everyone was friendly, and I never felt like I couldn't walk away no questions asked. And some of the blame is on me, because I've been wanting a truck for some time now, and went into this a little impatient and excited to get my first truck, so I could've inspected it better and asked more questions. My issue is transparency. I was told the check engine light was on for an O2 sensor. When I scanned it at home there were four codes, two of them were for the O2 sensor, the other two were for something else, knock sensor and an evap system pressure sensor, and that could've been a misunderstanding, and they lumped them all together as O2 sensor codes. My ride back home was over 40 minutes, and the transmission slipped right before i got home, and had to pull over and restart the truck to make it back home. Looking it over in my driveway afterward, I found a rear main seal leak, transmission fluid on the dip stick that was brown and smelled burnt, and one tire that was a different brand with noticeably more tread than the other three, which made the truck shake at highway speed. Also when I started heading back home I realized the gas tank was basically on empty. I called, and they were willing to talk and did seem like they wanted to help. They said they test drove it multiple times and spoke with the previous owner, and that nobody had transmission issues. As-is means as-is, i didn't even call to try and get a transmission out of them, more so in hopes that the previous owner, potentially rebuilt the transmission under warranty or something like that. What would've made this a five star deal for me would've been some transparency on the issues, and I'm not saying that they said it was a perfect truck, more so I don't think its too much to ask for what's currently wrong with it that doesn't require a mechanic to look at it (rear main seal leak, all the actual codes, the tire tread difference, transmission dip stick fluid condition, full tank of gas). At a little over $7,000 out the door, I'd have still bought this truck knowing all of it -- just at a different price if i could, and the transmission didn't slip on the test drive or anything like that, but as mentioned the trans dip stick would've told me its on the way out, and unfortunately i didn't bother to check before purchasing. Instead it's parked until I can afford a transmission. If you aren't confident diagnosing a vehicle yourself, pay a mechanic to inspect anything you buy here as-is. And also to be fair, I'm sure buying new here with a warranty is good.
