I had to get my truck inspected cuz it was expired. I haven't owned a vehicle in Pennsylvania for over 30 years, haven't lived here for over 30 years. So I'm not used to this "inspection" racket. So I just had $1500 worth of work done to my truck. Had the front suspension rebuilt. Great. Should breeze thru inspection. Ummmm, no. They found more stuff. Really? I don't think so. So I took it to Last Chance. Made it thru inspection with flying colors. I guess the brakes showed a little bit of wear or something but not enough to fail inspection. Maybe next year it might fail but not this year. Joe is realistic and fair. He's an honest mechanic. Sounds like an oxymoron, huh? He's about making money, sure. Isn't everyone in a capitalistic society? But he isn't going to gouge a person or take advantage of someone who doesn't know anything about car repair. I take my vehicle over there for all repairs not just inspection. He will work with you, he doesn't just jump to the most expensive option. That's what I like. Like my truck had a vacuum leak it was throwing a code lit the engine light. He found a split hose. Instead of ordering a brand new hose he just cut off the split part and reconnected the hose. Sounds pretty simple and it was simple but most places would have jumped at the chance to have you buy a brand new part. Because they triple the price of the part. Anywho, I highly recommend Last Chance auto repair. I trust them with my truck AND my motorcycle. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Really excellent car repair shop. These guys know what they are doing and don't overreach. My dealer has said that my front and rear brakes were worn in the "yellow" zone and needed replacing, but when Last Chance looked, they said the measurements were at 12/32 ("green" zone according to dealer standards) and wouldn't do the repair because it wasn't necessary. Very honest, which is a nice throwback. Also super responsive and customer-focused. I dropped my wife's car off for an inspection and couldn't get back before they closed for the day. So they said to grab the car with my other key and either drop a check in the mail slot or swing by the next morning to close out the bill with a credit card. Easy to work with! read more

BEWARE it takes time to know your problems and no matter what they do, they are your problems! Talk to them before letting them touch your car and you'll see! Last Chance did 2 bad alignments and I confirmed by a professional right after the second alignment that they cannot align. So after discovering a year + later that they ruined two tires they could not even diagnose their own caused problems. My tires failed inspection after only 1/4 of their life. The insides were completely bald. The first alignment they even broke a bolt on my car so they gave me a minor discount. Then after incorrectly diagnosing and or lying about the problems they caused they charged me for the second alignment. Then when I had a professional align it and had proven they cannot align nor diagnose and they didn't care one bit! They thought it was fair that they refunded my second alignment. After major headaches and time and two ruined tires and a second bad alignment they thought it was fair for me to only get one refund. BEWARE they don't know what they're doing! It's sad because Creamery tire is a fantastic tire company but many people are sadly going to get hurt by Last Chance and unfortunately it takes time to know you got a bad alignment and that they cannot and will not be able to diagnose your problems and you'll always be told you hit potholes when in my case it was 100% proven they ruined my tires and they did absolutely nothing about it and thought they still needed paid for their horrible work. read more

I've gone to Last Chance for years due to their honesty and excellent work. Frankly I wouldn't trust another repair shop. They don't do work unless it's actually needed unlike many other shops that seem to find issues just to run up the bill. It's difficult to find an honest repair shop so when I do I stick with them which is why I've been going to Last Chance for the past fifteen years. Keep up the excellent work guys. read more
